How My Best Friend Became Mine.

Short Version-

Growing up, I was a good child, never got in trouble, never picked a fight unless it was necessary, and never gave my teachers hell. All that shortly changed when I got my first detention slip for lateness. It was not my fault, I came in late, people decided to jump in the tracks and try to end their lives on the train I had to get on for school. It took the train 30 minutes to move from the station to the next, and I knew I couldn't even make it if I try to switch trains. Fast-forwarding to when I had to sit in detention, I was stuck with a girl with glasses and light brown hair. From the side, she looks like me, which I thought was weird unless I was sitting next to a mirror. But then she felt me staring, staring for a bit too long so she looked at me and rolled her eyes and wrote something down on paper. What a jerk. Then she threw the paper at me, and inside was a note. Written on the note "I know you looking at me. But I can see why now." She was thinking the same thing I was. We looked like we can be sisters, literally. Once we left detention we hung out for a bit and an empty classroom, she helped fill me in on the school rules. And I filled her in on how I managed to get into the school and got detention on the third day. From that moment on, I knew we would have something special. Even to this day, we have that special bond as if we just met again for the first time. Because of her, I was able to keep positive energy because it felt like I was her role model. The better I do in life, I can feel her trying to do the same as me.
