"Is it true he killed his own brother?" Becca asked.
"Yes," Anderson replied flatly. "Half-brother. And he deserved to die."
Becca held her hands up in surrender. "Didn't mean anything by the question, I'm sorry. It's just a weird rumor that goes around, and I always had trouble believing it."
Anderson grunted. "How long have you been an agent?"
"A little over a year," Becca said. "Amy's been an agent for a year and a half. We've been partners for about three months. My first one " She made a face. "Is currently serving time for embezzlement."
"Nice," Anderson replied, shaking his head. He stared up at the ceiling, sighed. "Let's go take a closer look at the hex box, see if there's something foxfire can incinerate to get us the hell out of here."
Becca nodded, grinned. "I like solving problems with fire."
