Anderson grimaced but didn't argue, just said, "Let's head back to our place. We can grab more weapons."
Lynn nodded and they hurried their way back. Once they reached it, he headed for the kitchen to get a snack, handing off one of the granola bars he scrounged up to Anderson. If they were gonna kick ass, they were gonna need the energy.
Wolfing it down while he worked, Anderson went through the canvas bag of stolen goodies and handed Lynn two dart guns, each one with three darts remaining. He kept another two for himself, then passed out another handgun each.
"I guess we've had worse odds," Lynn said with a sigh.
"Oh, definitely," Anderson replied with a tired smile. "You're better at this sort of thing, so you take care of Toni. I'll get your sister and then get us a boat or something. Don't get hurt or dead."
