Ch 1 Fallen

Rai Aquaria stood at the edge of the Sacred Lands, gazing down at the world he was about to descend into. Memories of his past flooded his mind, memories of suffering and betrayal. He clenched his fists, feeling the anger boiling inside him. He was once a respected deity in the Sacred Lands, but he was falsely accused by a young female deity who had used him to advance her own ambitions. He was stripped of his divine power and was about to be executed. But to fulfill his revenge he was escaping to the mortal realm to once again gain power.

Rai's bloodshot eyes flickered with a cold light as he remembered the scene of his trial. The young female deity had framed him, and the other deities had believed her lies. Rai had been too trusting, too naive. But he was not going to make the same mistake again. He had learned his lesson. He would be never trust a single soul in the world, and he would take his revenge on those who had wronged him.

With a deep breath, Rai was pushed off the portal of the Sacred Lands and plummeted towards the mortal realm. He felt a rush of wind as he fell, his jet black hair whipping around his face. He closed his grey eyes and focused on his surroundings. The wind howled in his ears, and the world spun around him.

Descending, he could feel the mortal world below him. He saw towering mountains, vast forests, and wide rivers winding their way through the landscape. He saw small towns and villages, and he saw the ignorant people who lived there, going about their daily lives.

Finally, landing on the ground with a thud. He staggered for a moment, feeling the weakness of his mortal form. He looked down at his hands, which were no longer glowing with divine power. He felt a surge of anger and frustration, but he quickly suppressed it. He needed to focus on his revenge.

Rai set out towards the nearest town, his eyes scanning the surroundings for any potential threats or opportunities. He moved with a silent grace, his senses sharp and alert. He would need all his cunning and intelligence to survive in the realm of man.

As he walked, Rai thought about his plan. He would need to gain power and influence in the mortal world, and he would need to use that power to gain revenge on those who had wronged him. He knew it wouldn't be easy, but he was determined to succeed.

As Rai continued his journey, his eyes suddenly caught sight of a group of bandits lurking in the shadows, waiting to ambush a nearby merchant caravan. He paused for a moment, observing their movements with his dead eyes. A small, cold smile crept onto his lips as he saw an opportunity. He had already started plotting his rise in the mortal realm.

There was no doubt that Rai had gotten weak after descending to the mortal realm but he was still stronger than a group of novice bandits.

With graceful and quick movements, he struck the bandits, scattering them in all directions. The merchants were grateful for his help, but Rai had other plans. He forcefully took their money and their wagon, claiming that it was payment for his services.

The unconscious bandits were thrown into the empty space of the wagon, and Rai disappeared deep into the forest, leaving the merchants to fend for themselves.
