'The aura between Sir Scoria and Miss Ellora is rather weird.'
Quietly and sneaking a look at the two who were cordially greeting each other while they were still eating their break fast, the sun shone down onto the duo.
On one side, pale grey hair that shone like the moon under the sun as a cordial smile lightly split miss Ellora's face in half as the two sapphire jewels that were her eyes stared.
And meeting that stare was the crimson rubies accompanied by the dark grey shade of shadows as a slightly teasing smile met the cordial one.
Wyndolyn Lynn was in the middle of a strange situation.
Ever since she was told by her grandfather that the academy of Amandus would be filled with exciting things to experience outside of the mountains that she had been living in all her life.
She had been looking towards it with all of her might.
And so far it hadn't disappointed her at the least.
Ranging from the facilities to the strange long carriage that ran on metal tracks to the magic space similar to her ancestors magic space.
It was all so new and exciting.
But what she was looking forwards to the most was the thing that her father told her to make.
'Friends.'
So the coming morning where there would be a short break period to allow the students to get accommodated alongside the normal breakfast time.
Sitting on the long table that had been in the center of the room besides the smaller much more comfortable coffee tables.
Chewing on a parfait baked by the head chef that retired from the royal palace.
Wyndolyn was curious.
Curious of what had happened between Sir Scoria and Miss Ellora that is.
'What did they do together last night?'
As the first two to leave the testing grounds it only made sense that they would be the first two to leave the trial grounds.
It was nearing sunset when they left so it only made sense as there was nobody else around the trial grounds.
If only she knew that the longer one spent in the trial grounds meant that the better they would score.
So thinking that the faster that they completed it would mean a better grade and the fact that there were little people left in the trial grounds.
'Did they?...'
Thinking about the fact that they didn't even see them at the dorms despite the sun setting strange visions of a forbidden scene appeared in her mind.
Flushing severely, Wyndolyn sneakily glanced at Scoria and Ellora with trembling eyes.
Looking at all the signs, it seemed to be so.
With how gentle their hands were in handing each other the food and how long their eyes seemed to gaze at each other as they continued to eat.
It was almost as if...
Thinking of a forbidden scenario in her mind that was definitely not something the average mind could think up.
Of course, all of this was just her own delusion and she was just picking out facts that seemed to fit the statement.
In reality...
The two of them were taking snide jabs at each other underneath the guise of a cordial interaction between those with royal blood with a telepathic connection.
{Is it really the characteristics of you chicken wings to eat so much sugar? All you'll get from all that sugar is a crippling addiction and rotten teeth in addition to your fat face.}
{It doesn't matter what you eat all the time you Sour bat, if you eat to much sourness I'm afraid it'll permanently scar your already ugly face, no isn't an improvement if it gets scarred?}
{At least my hair is better than yours, you look like an old granny with that grey hair.}
All in all it was just petty insults alongside the petty poisoning attempts.
Food poisoning wouldn't leave anyone scarred in any way shape or form but it would definitely not make their days better.
Lazily watching this happen with lidded eyes, Klio the blue dragon blooded silently chewed on a piece of bred with voracious appetite, several baskets of emptied bread being set to the side.
---
The Academy of Amandus besides its incredible history of producing several top tier geniuses that would usually do impressive feats and its legacy of the Infinite Circle Mage.
It was not much different from the normal schools.
The only difference between them and the other schools was that it provided facilities for those with martial artists and knights alongside the basic magic training a magic academy should have.
Of course those facilities were sponsored by other merchant groups and various military institutions.
But that didn't take away the fact that the academy was impressive.
And thus it was the first pick among many in the Southern continent of what was the best academy in the world.
It was generally agreed by many.
But besides that, it was just a normal academy with better than normal facilities and incredibly optimized schedules and classes with famous teachers.
Not to say that they were normal.
Standing in the middle of a large coliseum like structure which was usually in use by other students.
The Students were gathered together in a rather loose circle formation while talking to each other.
Since the future of the southern continent was gathered here it only made sense that they would come together and make connections.
The most notable groups formed in the loose circle however consisted of the ten golden ones that had passed the exams with the highest marks.
And among them, the groups were segregated even more.
With the recent addition of the exchange students of the other races, the ones with similar races like the elven princess and the dragonoids gathered together.
With the largest numbers the commoners who had gathered together as they gathered around the one commoner and two fallen nobles.
The others either quickly went to talk with the future Sword Sage, the Heir of the Desert claw tribe, or the future king of winter.
But the ones that had the most people surrounding them however, were the two royal heirs of the kingdom nearest to the Academy of Amandus.
Ignoring the prince of cold that was farther south of them.
The Prince of ash and the princess of clouds were surrounded by nobles of various lineages hoping to strike it lucky by forming a connection with the future powerhouses.
The fact that information of their young power was already disseminated to them through the various routes already showed how much importance the noble houses placed on the two royal heirs.
But, at some point in time, a man in rather casual clothing appeared unnoticed by the side of the students.
Silently watching them, he waved his hands and caused a subtle breeze to tickle their faces and attract their attention to him.
Clapping his hands and attracting the rest of the students who ignored the sudden breeze he spoke casually.
"No points to the people who ignored what is definitely a magically induced wind, one point to the people who actually turned because this is just the basics."
Hearing those words, with a subtle silence that bordered on confusion, staring at the students he suddenly swept up his hair and let out a long sigh.
"Oh please to the love of God, please tell me the others already told you the function of points."
"..."
"...They really didn't huh?"
"Please gather your attention here if you please!"
Clapping his hands again, the man let out a quiet sigh before speaking.
"So the function of points in this academy is that they are basically useless outside of Amandus's jurisdiction."
"But!" He raised a finger "Inside Amandus's jurisdiction, points can be used for many things."
"Whether that is to request one on one tutoring with one of our many tutors, or to exchange for any treasures in our vault or to just buy incredibly good meals, you should try them sometime."
"They can be basically used for anything in this academy.
"Of course, the teachers aren't the only ones able to give and deduct points as there are other forms of gaining points."
"Sometimes you can
"The most popular form of gaining points is from the coliseum that you guys are standing on right now."
"If it isn't used by the school, its usually used by students to bet against each other and test their combat prowess with points being the only form of loss here."
"On that note."
Giving off a cheeky aura, his eyes seemed to grin as the green eyes dragged their ways through the crowd and locked onto ten very distinct figures.
"Why don't we see what our golden class can do?"
Waving his hands, the teachers face split into a small smile as the eyes of the students was attracted to the ten golden students.
"The purpose of gathering you guys here in the first place was to show you how much farther you have to go, so might as well show you how far the golden ones are."
Nodding their heads, the ten slowly made their way to the fore front right in front of all the students where it was more convenient to see them.
"And don't worry, I'll compensate you properly."
Smiling brightly, from the skies above, an eye with pupils of pure darkness slowly retreated back into the clouds.
