"Ha, ha, ha," Eun Ha chuckled loudly, she was unsure whether to laugh or cry, but she had let out her initial laughter involuntarily.

"What?!" carry your baby?!

"is this is a joke, sir," she asked widening her eyes to the fullest extent glaring at him.

"No it's not if you are ready to take the offer here is my card and" he retorted and this time he meant every single word he said.

she reluctantly collected the card and scoffed slightly "I'll never carry the child of a man I am not married to" she said to herself.

"Give me a call when you decide to go for it, let's sign the contracts, you have just a week, after that, the offer is off the table."

he said this with an expressionless face and walked back to his car, handing over the umbrella to her while he walked in the rain.

Mi Cha watched the scene from afar, she wasn't aware of what was going on, but seeing Mu Chen hand over his card to a mere waitress was enough to keep her soul burning within her.

She hadn't been expecting to see him at the hotel, not after he said he had to rush out for something important but...

"here he is holding out an umbrella for the mere waitress, I am the governor's daughter for crying out loud, I'm well sought after," she thought to herself clenching her fists in anger.

Her only crime was she had only loved one person.

Eun Ha turned back to return to her duty post she took a glance at the card, she could hardly believe it, she hadn't recognized him earlier. her face lit up as she felt a little giddy, she had just met the almighty CEO of Li Corporation and what's more, he wants to sleep with her, at least so she thought.

Of course, she had made up her mind that she wasn't going to accept, her pride was more important to her, what would people say if they saw her pregnant out of wedlock, she had always been a strong girl, working hard to get whatever she wanted, had her dad not being a useless jerk, she'd have been a successful medical doctor.

she kept glancing at the card as she walked towards the entrance soaked by the rain. she didn't see Mi Cha coming they bumped into each other and the card fell.

"oh my, I'm sorry ma'am I didn't see you coming," she sincerely apologized, respectfully bowing her head to show how sorry she was.

Mi Cha bent down to pick the card.

"it's his card, he wouldn't even look at me and he had given a mere waitress his card," she thought to herself tears welled up in her eyes.

"you slut, what were you doing with him?" she asked with a stern look on her face, the lines of anger could be evident even to a short-sighted person.

Eun Ha instantly looked at Mi Cha, she was poor, but she still deserved some respect.

She recalled she was the miss at the table with the CEO a while ago, she had noticed how hard she tried to cause him to notice her but he ignored her either way.

she immediately understood her position but no matter who it was, she wasn't going to be insulted by anyone she has had enough humiliation for one day, she thought to herself.

"What did you just call me?" she asked with a hint of anger in her voice

"Slut, apart from being a desperate gold digger are you also deaf?" she asked this time, in a calm and dangerous tone.

"I don't care who you are, or what you think you are but you have no right whatsoever to call me a slut, from what I see that could easily be your title, I wasn't the person desperately seeking the attention of a man who wasn't interested?"

this time, Mi Cha furiously raised her hands to send a slap across Eun Ha's face, but Eun Ha had caught it mid_air there was no way a rich spoilt brat like her could outshine her in a physical fight.

she dropped Mi Cha's hands with a little force and snapped the card away from her left hand

"I'll take this, it belongs to me," she said in a cold tone walking out on Mi Cha

"do you know who I am?! do you want to die??"

Mi Cha asked furiously, the veins in her forehead were already visible.

Eun Ha had moved few meters away from Mi Cha, hearing the threat, she came to an abrupt stop and turned back.

"Even if you are the Governor's daughter, I will not waste an extra second of my time talking to you." She had said nonchalantly, but she didn't know it was true, she was indeed the Governor's daughter.

Mi Cha resigned in frustration,

"I am going to make this girls life a living hell" she whispered underneath her breath.

Eun Ha walked towards her station, She took the elevator to the second floor, the elevator stopped and she got out slowly lost in thought, there was a way out but she just couldn't, carry the nations husband's child.

"Eun Ha, where have you been?" the head of the station Ma'am Wu asked in disdain, she never liked Eun Ha, if there was one person that made Eun Ha's life miserable, it was this miserable wench. This was what Eun Ha how Eun Ha referred to her in her heart, a miserable wench.

"I'm sorry ma'am,"

"keep your sorry to your pathetic self and get to work", she said grimly

"yes ma" she replied obediently

"had the circumstance been different, I would have given her a taste of her own medicine," she thought squeezing her hands tightly.

Typical Eun Ha, she was quite an impatient child and her anger got the most of sometimes, it was something she had worked hard to control, and right now she could feel every nerve in her body agitated.
