"What do you mean by I'm pregnant Drew," Jade frets her eyes as wide as saucers.
***few minutes earlier***
Drew left the doctors office with the pregnancy test results in his hands as he resisted the urge to squeeze them in his fist.
He knew this would only endanger her; the girl he had come to care for after watching her grow up to become an interesting adult.
How she had been able to grow up beautifully in the kind of environment she lived in, still remained a mystery to him.
At first, he only thought of her to be his friend, but the more mission they had together, the more he found himself falling for her even though it took him a while before he admitted it to himself.
Drew had watched how she helplessly fell for Eric even though she knew the dangers she might face, but she didn't seem to care, because not even knowing what Molis Rick is capable of doing to her was enough to make her back off.
