Chapter 1: New Student
Huff... Huff... Huff...
'15 seconds left until the bell ring! I can't be tardy...'
After the 2 week break from school, Yunee sleeping peacefully in her bedroom and was waken up by her mother loudly knocking on the door, "Yunee, WAKE UP or you going to be late for school!" Her mother yelled.
'Hmm... Oh crap! I can't be late for school... I was able to have perfect attendance for my first semester, can't mess it up now.' Yunee thought while getting out of bed.
"OKAY, one minute!" She replied.
She hurriedly dresses up to her school uniform and gets in her mother's car. Of course, she didn't get a chance to apply her 5 minutes daily make-up or comb her hair nor doing her morning hygiene. She looks like a caveman at this point but in high school girl uniform.
While driving to school, Yunee calculated that she only has one minute to run into her classroom, compared to the 5 minutes that she usually takes her time to walk.
Due to her desperation, she ran as soon as she got out of the car, avoiding all the obstacles on her way. She ran so fast that smoke starts forming from the sole of her shoes. All of the students in front of her would get out of her way, or else they will be seriously injured.
Yunee managed to make it in time, but her hair was even messier than her morning hair. The way she breathed heavily in front of the door making the whole class staring at her like she was a crazy person.
At that moment, she laid her eyes on a young man that was in front of her. She was stunned.
'Wow, he so handsome….' She was thinking this while drooling.
In front of Yunee was someone she had never seen before, his face was so handsome that he would be better than many male lead actors in some dramas if they were being compared to him.
"Go to your seat, we have a new student today." Teacher Kha woke Yunee up from her daydream.
"Ah, yes!." Yunee noticed that she was drooling and immediately wipe it. She went to her seat, noticing that all the girls in her class were also focusing on the new student. Murmuring to themselves or the next person sitting next to them.
"Wow, he is so handsome!"

Their facials reveal it all.
Yunee sat down in her chair, then start focusing on the new student and her teacher.
"Today we have a new student, his name is Edwin, I hope everyone gets along." The teacher pauses while looking around, "Edwin, you may sit next to Yunee, the student that just arrived. We don't have another seat at the moment."
All the girls in the classroom were jealous of Yunee, they all turned their heads and face Yunee with a warning that she must not make move on Edwin.
Yunee gave out a sigh.
'I won't do anything… I don't want any relationship right now. Even if Edwin is handsome, I won't fall into the relationship trap. I still have to focus on Infinite World.'
Edwin sat down next to Yunee, then it suddenly reminded him of all the girls he sat next to in the past, they were all flirtatious and touching him without his conscience. He moved his chair a bit far away from Yunee, then gave her a cold look, but he noticed her appearance compared to all the girls he sat next to before.
He chuckled and thought, 'She looks like a caveman.'
Yunee noticed Edwin moved away making his personal space, but then she noticed that he was about to laugh.
"Your hair is messy," Edwin said in a cold tone while trying to hold back his laughter.
Yunee blushed and put up her hoodie, she didn't notice it falling off after running into the classroom at 10 miles per hour.
In the classroom, Yunee is very quiet and rarely cares about what others think of her. Even though, she likes to take care of her skin and have light make-up produce to cover herself from UV rays. She also tried to make herself look bland so she can blend herself with the surrounding better.
Everyone around her thinks she is an introvert nerd, she would always rank top 10 above overall in tests and do her homework at recess and lunch. They would rarely approach her because it is hard to start a conversation with her.
Yunee intended to keep herself this way. She didn't want to talk to people because they waste her time. She knows herself more than anyone else. As a top 1 player in PVP in Infinite World and known as the best assassin. Yunee dedicated herself to finish her homework before going home, making more free time for herself to play Infinite World.
Due to her physique as an Assassin, the school bullies were scared approaching Yunee, since she teached them once when they take her out for a talk.
'Sigh, only if my parents let me play without being in the top 10 in school. I would not be such a nerd.' Yunee thought hopelessly.

The school hours finally ended.
'I manage to finish all my homework. Luckily, the last two classes didn't have any homework. I can go all out today.' Yunee stretches her body and starts walking to the nearby VR cafe excitedly.
Last year when Yunee is a Freshman in high school.
"If you stay at the top 10 in school grade, you will get to play games."
Her parents exclaimed and thinking that Yunee would never able to get in the top 10 in her school, despite it being the highest number of students attended high school in the area but also that she would not have time for playing while learning at the same time.
Yunee took the chance and proved her parents wrong. She got to the top 4 in the next semester and got her permission to play VR games after school. Her parents were surprised by the outcome.
'Haha, that was a year ago.' Yunee thought while approaching the VR cafe.
She is now a Sophomore in High School. Top 3 in the school grade ranking for Sophomore in the first semester.

Nine months ago, Infinite World Beta was released, Yunee waited in line ahead for 2 days before the salestore open. The game company would sell its VR set for the game to maximize compatibility and give the players the best experience unlike other games before. The price was not cheap, she used all her saving on it and also ask for her parents extra money.
The first beta was on sale for 10 thousand copies in every country they were released on. They were sold around in 31 countries, leading to 310,000 copies were sold in a day.
Although, she ended up selling the Beta version set because of the space that it requires and the noise she makes while playing, jumping up and down causing an earthquake in the house. It end up limiting her movements in game since her parents would yell at her. Which ended up her selling the set.
Although, she even makes a profit out of the headset. Since the Beta headset was more unique than the normal headset. She earned 3 times the price of what she paid for.
At this moment, Yunee arrived at the internet cafe, the surrounding was dark and the dim blue LED light was the only source for lighting. The atmosphere makes her gaming spirit increased.
"Welcome back Yunee, 4 hours?" The familiar person greeted her. His name was Ken, a tall and skinny-ish with an okay-looking face. He also plays Infinite World but he plays as a mage-summoner so he can cast far away and summon his spectre and zombie army without moving as much.
"Yes! Is it number 1 again?" Yunee asked.
"Yep, I always save that seat for you since it's the closest and the least used. Our VIP customer is always on our top priority!" Ken said jokingly.
"Ha, thank I guess, have you done your daily today?"
"Hmm, I played this morning, I've already completed them."
They chat a bit more then part their way.
Yunee arrived at the VR room and sat down in the number 1 VR seat. She stretches her body to get ready to move and checks the time.
'3:42 PM. I got 18 minutes...'
Yunee placed her legs and put the strap to secure it in the right position and another strap to secure her body in the right place, then she put on her gloves and the controller. At last, the VR headset.
The VR headset looks like a robot helmet, it got a full build-in earphone that canceled all the noise on the outside and the microphone also keeps the user's voice inside so that no one hears the conversation.
The whole VR chair allows the user to move freely and even gives the players sensation feeling if they were being touch or hit, but it does not hurt the players.
A message pop-up, "Hello user, you may enter your username and password." By using her hand, she typed everything out. Even though the VR headset has a mask covering the mouth, prevents any noises out. They still required the user to type in the informations, preventing any leakage, and also confirmed the user by eyes recognition as identification.

I guess I can wait for Inoria to get on. I will do some daily farming first.
Every day players will get their daily crafting items on their farm. They also have to do daily farm missions to get extra experience and materials which then can craft into foods and scrolls that give buff stats for the player.
Married couples gain extra benefits by sharing their farm together, reducing the work, their contributions together will share equally for both parties. Sometimes people complained that their partner doesn't help and that they are being used.
There are also some players who played the game for only the farm function. They would get money by trading buff scrolls and foods or sell their materials to other players.
Yunee enjoys farming and decorating her farm. She would take care of the farm when she got the time, since being a top 1 player in the arena, a lot of players also visit her farm to just check out. She also gains a lot of money out of farming, being a F2P player herself, farming was also a way for her to get better gears. Not to forget, the buffs that she would get from just farming.
10 minutes later. As soon as Yunee finished her farm daily. A notification pop-up on her interface.
