41 Chapter 41

I had finally made up my mind.

Watch as they defended themselves from sudden attacks of fire. Those facing Therazane had a hard time as well. Although it was noticeable that their control over the earth was powerful, it was not easy to deal with various elemental attacks coming in their direction all of a sudden. This caused them to lose their concentration and what they were doing, forcing them to defend themselves and not being able to counterattack effectively.

-The "Guardians" are powerful, but they don't have enough experience. Well, they have just been born, they are really working miracles.

More mountains rose all around, covering the retreat and forming a circular wall.

-The elemental lords, despite not having allies for long, still know how to fight as a team. This is kind of funny, considering that they were enemies who participated in wars until recently... Experience works wonders.

Lightning and thunder were constantly seen and sounded in the sky. Some fell on all the "Guardians" though most were stopped by those facing Al'Akir.

-I feel a little sorry for this. I know the elemental lords aren't very creative in engineering all this, but they're not dumb either. Everything we did when we were in alliance sure taught them a lot about group warfare. They won't be easily divided and they won't fall as easily as in canon... my presence has changed something in this world.

*Sigh*

* BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*.

-It's not that I don't understand that my presence would change things. I know that joining the "Elemental Lords" ahead of time meant a change that could be important in the whole story, but I needed that power... it was worth the cost, but now I can see what I have caused...

* CRAAAAAACKK CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACKKK BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

-*Sigh* it doesn't matter. My presence and I will keep changing some things. Still, I have to make sure that the story can take its course no matter what. I can't allow there to be so many changes.

Soon the land on which the "Elemental Lords" and "Guardians" stood began to sink.

The wave was ready and began to move in the direction of the slabs.

-They don't have that much experience. Although it seems strange to me... how are they born with all the necessary knowledge... perhaps when they were created they were given all the necessary information and how to understand it...? I have not played "God" with my dark power, if anything I have only given "blessings", so I don't know if they are already born that way or the "spirit" element gives them so much knowledge. Maybe the earth itself already has accumulated knowledge and when they become a "conscious" being or rather, more powerful and complex, their knowledge comes out... I don't know. I have not yet created any being... I have been so focused on improving my body, my elemental abilities, their synergies and harmonizations. Discovering and creating new materials and, above all, watching the silvery starry nights, that I have overlooked "playing" at being "God"... Well, "Dark God".

I had to block a lightning attack from the air elemental.

An attack that the fire elemental did not miss. It hit me in the shoulder, and I moved away. Although I was able to withstand with relative ease, as his fire could not cause me so much damage, I could still feel the force behind his blow.

"Good hit, though you'll still fall to my hammer, elementalist."

"Great words, bug. feel my fire!"

The attack was blocked by Odyn, who had taken advantage of the moment when I was hit and after blocking the lightning, approached and attacked.

Balls of fire and lava were falling towards us. The attacks he made with his hammer were strong. But my attacks also hurt him. Our strength was not equal. I possessed great strength. One that forced him to retreat and attack me with elemental spells.

The earth rattled and cracked from deep within. Soon I felt us begin to sink into a great pit.

-His plan is to push us deep into the water.

"Odyn, we must stop that attack."

Between the two of us we were cornering him little by little. If only one of us was there, the battle could drag on and stall.

Soon I heard a momentary silence, before the deep echo of the water warned everyone of the great attack that was coming.

"Ha, what's wrong insect?"

Then watch as the water, even with Mimiron and Loken's attempts to stop it, came closer and soon fell on us.

"Ha-ha-ha, take that scum!"

Before Odyn and I could react. A large amount of lava rose up, slamming us towards the fire elemental who was waiting for us with his hammer to strike us. Although we blocked his great attack, he ended up pushing us into the air, only to suddenly come down under the full weight of the water.

*BOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH* (Sound of a large amount of water crashing)

We were all caught up in the attack. Although the elementals managed to escape unscathed.

Now we were all in the water, which was getting colder and colder. Soon a large whirlpool formed and pulled us all in. And although we quickly tried to control the water and the tide, soon huge chains extended from the whirlpool, slamming into us and latching onto us.

-Uuuggh, this hurts.

The cold water was slowly freezing me and their attacks only helped to hammer. Without a base to stand on it was difficult, but we gave our all with the intention of improving our situation and getting out of this attack.

Soon I felt a great amount of fire and air elemental energy rising. I knew something big was waiting for us outside, once we made it out of here.

*BOOOOM BOOOOM BOOOOM BOOOO BOOOOM BOOOOM BOOOOM* (Sound of multiple explosions)

Soon I felt a large number of fireballs falling into the water, exploding and suddenly nullifying the whirlpool that held us prisoner.

*Plac * *Plac * *Plac * *Plac

*Plac* * Plac* * Plac* * Plac* * Plac* (Sound of multiple things piercing the water)

Suddenly something grabbed my hand and suddenly I was in the sky. Flying rapidly towards the mountains. Next to me were my brothers and sister... we were rescued.

-This is a bit sudden.

I looked at what was holding us and saw a being with strange wings that constantly expelled fire. From its being, golden tentacles were what held us. And it was almost no time before we were stepping on land again.

We all watched this strange being closely.

"Hello, hello, hello, how are you sailors, this storm's a bad one, don't you think, hahaha. Lucky I was around to help you, or who knows what sea monster might have devoured you."

The strange being said with a, smile, I'm not quite sure, but he seemed happy to see us.

"... (all)"

*Coughing

"Well, how are you, I see the "Elemental Lords" are giving you a good fight..."

"Traitor, at last you appear!"

The being turned his gaze momentarily to the fire elemental and then continued to watch us curiously.

None of my brothers were sure what to make of this strange situation and this strange being. Nor of the words shouted by the fire elemental.

He was tall, much taller than us. He looked like a warrior with the large gold and blue sword he possessed. His armor was golden with white and red accents. The scales on his body were mostly white with gold and red accents, with lights shining and a sort of luminous crown on his forehead. He radiated a lot of light.

-It's strange, considering all the darkness in this world.

I was the first to speak.

"Hello warrior. Thank you for helping us. We were in danger so I sincerely appreciate your help."

Soon he stopped looking at all of us with detailed curiosity and looked me straight in the eye.

"It's okay, no problem. I've been watching them fight for a while now and wanted to join their crusade, but I couldn't find a good time to introduce myself."

The strange being said sincerely. Although its eyes were bright, its pupils were totally black.

-Curious, we were not aware of its existence. But I can feel that it is powerful.

"That is why I would like to help you. I've been fighting against the darkness of this world for a long time, but I can't do it alone. So I would like to save this world together with you... if you allow me to."

His look was serious now. His sincerity could be felt in his words, but before any of us could say anything, a large attack was headed our way.

We were located on one of the mountains raised by the earth elemental.

-He told them "Mr. Elemental" ... I like the sound of that title.

A huge fireball, as big as a mountain, was approaching us.

"Traitor, feel my hatred!"

You could feel all the hatred in his voice. Which made us wonder, what did this strange luminous being do...?

And when we were preparing our defense, the being simply spread its strange wings and flew towards the great attack. Its wings were large, composed of fire that was continuously expelled. And in a short time it was right in front of the attack, and stretching out its hand, we saw something that left us surprised...

All the firepower from that big attack was diminishing, until it disappeared... As soon as we saw him, he was totally fine.

-I think it's brighter now....

Drawing his great sword, he raised it high and with great power said.

"It's time for the light to purify them!"

(Some incredible sound of large-scale lighting that blinds enemies and purifies evil, darkness and all that it may represent... It also heals wounds. )

A great amount of light was unleashed from his body, purifying the earth and healing the small wounds we possessed. It did not end there, though, and it illuminated all our brothers and sisters who were fighting against the dark army.

*AAARRRRRGHHH*

*HISSSSSSS

(And more hissing, deep screams of pain that seem to be straight out of hell).

The weakest and most wounded died at the touch, and the most powerful weakened under the light falling from the sky. Our brothers and sisters soon saw their wounds heal, increasing their strength and conviction.

Soon his voice called us and we watched in surprise the being that had opened a large hole in all the darkness that plagued this world. From where the luminous energies bathed us continuously.

"Come on, let's fight against the corruption to which my fellow elementalists are subjected."

None of us had time to say anything before the strange being extended its tentacles towards us again. Its eyes and actions encouraged us to hold on to them with what I assume is its smile.

Seeing this bizarre situation, I could only laugh and encouraged myself to fight alongside him.

"Hahaha, very good. Then let's fight together."

-Later I will think about what is happening. For now, I must defeat these great enemies.

Freya was the second to join. Followed by Mimiron and Hodir, then the rest and finally Ra and Odyn.

"All right, then hold on tight. This trip will be quick."

And before any of us could understand their words, we quickly flew towards the "Elemental Lords" who were preparing their attacks.

Author's Note: Before I move on to some important data I want to share with you, such as the estimated strength level and the images of the forms the protagonist has had and taken so far, I want to ask you something. What do you think of the cover, I took my time making it and I want to know what you think.

Should I continue to make them, should I decorate them less, what do you think about that? Give me your advice and comments on this. I'm trying to make the covers thematic, which I think suits WOW very well when it releases its expansions XD.

What do you think about the way I detail the sounds, should I start using more of this style and eliminate the big *BOOM* and other onomatopoeias in exchange for this and shorter *BOOM*...? Please comment on this and your opinions. It's all to improve the way I write and the novel. ^^

Anyway. Let's move on to the information and voting. Please pay close attention.

In this paragraph they will put "Yes or No". ONLY IN THIS PARAGRAPH. 55 comments saying "YES" would then end the vote in favor of that relationship. 56 comments saying "NO" would be the opposite and there would be no relationship.

Now The levels of power.

The power levels are somewhat complicated because in general all elements should have the ability to reach a similar level. This has an exception and they are 3, as far as I know.

The Darkness with the "Lords of the Void", the light with the Naaru and the "Titans" who would be the most powerful in the physical universe.

So, considering this, how powerful are the "Elemental Lords"...? Let's say everyone outside of those 3, are similar. So they are all in 4th place. Even the "Gods" of their respective forces.

Then come as number 3, the Naaru. They are much weaker than the "Shadows" of power that can invade the physical universe of the "Lords of the Void". Of course, there could be beings of light among the Naaru much more powerful. But I base this on a piece of information, in which a Naaru had to sacrifice himself in order to eradicate the existence of a "Void Lord" on a planet. That's why they are ranked 3, but in general they are opposing forces so they share a similar Ranking. Although as the light doesn't seem to be so powerful in general, we leave it in this position... for now, until something comes out that makes me change my mind...

Post number 2, the "Lords of the Void". For obvious reasons, I mentioned with post number 3. Again, post 3 and 2 are linked, with almost no real differences.

The number 1 position is occupied by the "Titans". They simply have no comparison of power. Just to tell you that despite being beings of the "Arcane" they present abilities of other elements. Like Aeonar with life, Golganneth with the elements of water and air, Khaz'goroth with earth. These are some examples. Another one would be Argus, who is considered a "Titan" with powers over death...

Well, they are the most powerful in the "PHYSICAL UNIVERSE". I emphasize here, because they are not present in the mega conflicts that go beyond the existing universe. What do I mean by this... that I have no idea what would happen if they were directly pitted against the "Light" and the "Void". I am talking about the primordial element, not the shadows and echoes that arise from their power in the physical universe. If anything, they are powerful, like the "Old Gods" who are more "parasites" than anything else.

I clarify, the "Gods" in general can be in the 4th place, but if their "affinity" is superior to any or their power is greater, they can eradicate a "Naaru" or "Lord of the Void" ... it all depends on the affinities and circumstances in a battle ... do you understand?

So, this "Ranking" of power is more of a "guide" and not something to be taken totally seriously. But the Titans are indisputably the most powerful in the physical universe. There is no doubt about that.

I will put an image of the WOW cosmology here to give you an idea. Next chapter I will explain more about all this. For now I'll move on to the images of the main character's forms or this would go on forever....

Titanic Dragon Form. (Try to follow the Titans theme preferably. They are mostly from Norse mythology even though they dress like Greeks... strange, honestly) (This form gives the MC its name. Next chapter or a few chapters after should show you which one)

Humanoid Form (Human Form) (He looks seductive / sexy / his hair is silver and his eyes can be any color XD, it's the hair that matters)

Cosplay Form (Tiiiiibbers) (XD Hahaha, this form is already calling me to use it)

Small Pet Shape (Magical Ferret) (Any ideas or images for this one, preferably with glowing or sparkly lights. Can be elemental themed ferrets, though I'm mostly looking for water, air, shadow and light themed ones) (It's literally a ferret... maybe a little bigger)

Mythical Beast Form (Go crazy with the images for this one... it's not planned and I don't have any images for it. All the ideas you send will be welcome ^^)

Great Mount Form (This is not a dragon form... nor a mythical beast. This form is more focused on animals such as horses, bears, wolves, lions, griffins, hippogriffs, in that realm. They can be as big as 3 or 5 meters. Not much more, although in the end all images will be stored in a folder where I will have access to inspiration depending on what form you send them to.

Female Form (It is a form of woman. Preferably with a penchant for shadows, darkness, emptiness and the monstrous. If they can be sexy, pretty, human or non-human, humanoid and that in general. They can also send images of women with a penchant for light or the elements. Like I said, everything is stored... You guys carry a lot of weight in this form. I haven't decided yet, but I recommend sending more).
