The Vamp's Party

--yes baby, I'm so sorry to have left without a proper goodbye--

Via touched the first page of the book she was flipping earlier. Suddenly, a picture appears like a 3D photo where there are 3 people moving from the inside, waving their hands and smiling towards her. Now her bading tears are eventually falling from her eyes washing her flushed cheeks from crying since morning. They were her mom, dad and aunt Venice in the picture. They looked happy and it made her smile. Her heart was crushed for missing them so much but her mind is at peace that they are now happy and safe.

--we are happy here baby, so hush now! and get up, we have many things to do--

"huh? what things should we do?"

--you need a place to transfer, a safer place than here. Levi reepers are looking for you, they're the one who killed Venice.--

"who are they? what do they want from me?"

--well from the past, they sell it to museums as a human body ornament, some also may sell it to Europe as an antique piece but most of the levi reepers scrape the eye's lens and make it a contact lens, that way Levi reepers will know exactly who is a human,an animora or a Levi hmmm unfortunately you are the last in our kind so your eyes are the most precious ones on earth. --not exactly too, because nowdays animoras are scared to be killed so they are hiding in provinces and hiding their skills too. "I think I heard something from there" a voice of a woman was speaking

"I'm not sure,hmmm it could be the library or the room in the north wing. Let's check it out"

"no need, I heard from the school that she will be at the party tonight and it's already running 6pm, we should go so we can prepare ourselves a bit, I'm sure she's already on her way there"

"hmm okay let's go"

These people left but Via still can't go out where she was hiding until Hanz talked to her in her mind.

--they left baby, go now! get your things and move out quickly--

"yes dad!" she did what she was told as soon as she realized that she's in grave danger.

She was already in the car when she remembered that the Levi reepers knew she was coming to the party.

--you know you have to go there so you will know who are those people who killed your aunt venice--

"yes but I'm scared, I don't know what will I do if they'd try to harm me"

--then what do you think should you do?--

"yes I should go check on them and I need to know who exactly is responsible for her death"

Via left the mansion and drove herself to Cazi's place not knowing what danger truly lies ahead.

She arrived wearing a black body fitted sleeveless on the inside, faded jeans and white cardigan with black cap hiding her swolen eyes and flushed face. She arrived in Cazi's place exactly at 8pm. She felt the cold wind embracing her from the back and her knees shaking with unknown fear. She knows that something is off tonight and what's gonna happen next will surely one of the moments where she is already in a brink of death.

"hey! you came!" another tap on the shoulder from Cazi as she opened the front door.

"wow! this is...great! ah did you invite the whole school?" Via laughed at the thought while seeing all the faces one by one, the place is crowded with both teachers and students.

"kinda! hahaha come! I'll give you a drink" Cazi grabbed her to the bar at the corner of the house where the bartender gave Via a simple wink.

"what's for the our new lady here?" The man folded his sleeves that looks like he is preparing to present something special.

"two cocktails please" it was Cazi

--looks like Cazi is a nice friend to start with, especially when you're looking for a new place to live--

"dad???oh ah I mean like duh!! I don't drink beer, yes good choice Cazi, cocktails please" she was stuttering as she remembers that only she can hear her father's voice in her head.

"I told you, she's sassy" Cazi said to the bartender and the man leaned on the glass bar table to whisper on Cazi's left ear before they laugh out loud together. Via just smiled at them and started to turn her head looking for people, people she doesn't even know the faces.

"Hey everyone! now that its time, let's have a toast to the new lady in town, cheers to Via!" the bartender said as he raised his glass.

"To Via" everyone is laughing and drinking, eating and now raising their glasses for Via?

They all drink with that toast. Everybody in the room was drinking red wine but after they drink everyone's faces changed. They all got a serious look and why they were looking at Via, she doesn't really know what's going on.

--Via, now is the time to run--

"what?" she got scared. And even more scared when she started to see the fangs coming out on the teeth of each of those who raised their glasses, fangs that are fierce and bading to taste her blood when one person grabbed her to the balcony which is just behind her. A man rolled down the curtains covering all over Via's body and locking her inside like a package wrapped well in cloth.

"let go of me!" Via was shouting from the inside but the man is growling? that's a weird thing to do for a human being.

The man is moving quickly and Via is certain that she was carried out of the window and away from the mansion by a man or somewhat a growling creature. But all of a sudden, they stopped moving and now she was out of the curtains. Surprised as she is but there's nothing she can do anymore, she is in the middle of a forest. A forest? how and why? was she kidnapped?

"hi" a man from a far greeted her,looks like he was trying to put on some clothes

"who are you?ahm I mean omg!what are those???are they???seriously??? I never knew stories about vampires are real" Via can't think well this time, she was hesitating to ask while pointing her index finger back to the mansion but still asked anyway.

"yes and you're in a Vamp's den 15 minutes ago until I saved you"

"hmm okay, so who are you?and why did you saved me??"

"why?I'm not so sure actually hahaha"

"ahm I'm not sure if I should thank you, you're not going to hurt me right?"

"hahaha I'm an alpha in west virginia, I don't harm people, I just don't wanna see you massacred by the fanged community. You don't know, people living in this neighborhood are all vampires except for you and me of course. Do you know a vampire?half bat and half human?"

"oh yes-yes I know I've read books bout them and watched movies too, so what are you if you're not like them???and why did you saved me???"

"I'm a werewolf, half human and half wolf, I was just passing by and saw you going inside that place"

"omg! I know you!" she said after giving the man a closer look.

The man smiled.

"you are the man wearing a hoody this morning at school"
