Trial Briefing!

Leon and Aaron arrived in a large area swarming with people. They all had a wide range of expressions. Some ranged from Grief, Shock, Surprise, Anger, Fear, and even Joy.

"Where is this? Why have we been summoned here?"

"I was playing League of Heroes when I was summoned here. I heard a voice and then a cloud of lightning struck me!" The man's expression darkened with terror.

"The same with me! How is that even possible, something like that isn't physically possible in any reality! Did we all die or something?"

The crowd was in an uproar.

"Silence!" At that moment, everyone mouth's were forcefully shut somehow. Everyone's eyes widened in shock; someone had forcefully stopped them from talking with a single word!

Everyone's gaze followed where the voice had come from. It was a man with long blonde hair and a pair of white wings on his back. His eyes were deep blue and his face looked like god himself carved it.

'A-An Angel?' Leon couldn't help but think with surprise.

"I understand if you are confused, but this matter is urgent. This matter concerns you and your world."

The man gazed around sharply.

"First of all, my name is Zuriel and I will be your temporary instructor for a bit. I want to start off by telling everyone to check their status. You can say the word in your head or out loud to preview your status window."

The man with wings went silent afterward, his expression stiff and cold.

"There's an actual screen with my stats in front of me. I've only seen this in those mangas and manhwa I've read, I can't believe it's real!" A man with glasses shook with excitement, it was like a dream come true.

"Haha, my strength is the highest stat. I knew hitting the gym would make me strong, so this is to be expected." A muscular man laughed with pride.

Soon, everyone was riled up and began to check their status information. Some felt sad that their status' were low, while others lavished on how high theirs was.

'Status.' Leon looked around and quickly called forth his status to see his stats.

It didn't take a genius to figure out that Leon's stats were utter trash. They hadn't even reached the standard number of 1 stat point.

Leon's expression was a bit ugly seeing his horrific stats, he didn't dare talk about them to anyone.

'My Mana stat seems to be decent, at least when compared to the other stats.' Leon felt some sense of relief from this.

When he was summoned, Leon heard something about the Trial of Heroes. Thinking of this, he gazed around, would they have to fight to the death or something?

Leon began to sweat, he was instantly frightened at the thought of this.

"I will explain then I will ask you if you want to go home or not. If you want to leave, then I will be sent you off, we will not force you. However, everything that has occurred at this moment will be forgotten once you return home."

Zuriel gazed around the large area filled with a great crowd of people.

"I will explain some basic things to you, so you can understand a few things that you must know. Some of you may have some decent stats at your level, while some of your stats may be horrendous."

Zuriel explained the stats of an individual. If your stats were below one, being at 0.99 or lower, your stats wouldn't be ranked. If a stat reached one, it would be ranked as an (F-)Rank.

Once a stat reached 34, it would level up to (F)Rank. And with another 33 stats, it would reach an (F+)rank. Once one of your stats has reached 100, you could prestige that stat to (E-)Rank.

This was even stronger than a 100 (F+)Ranked stat, and so forth.

"Every time you level up, you will receive 5 attribute points but every time you level up by ten, you will receive double that. That's my explanation of stats, these are absolutely important. They're even more important than your level."

"Next will be the Trial of Heroes, you can look into the sky and see how many people are participating now." Zuriel pointed toward the sky and said.

Everyone instinctively looked up.

[1,000,020/1,000,000]

"As you may have noticed, the number is off. There are a few stragglers that weren't supposed to be summoned here, but the judges have already voted that these people could stay."

There were some people who wanted to complain, but after that early display of power; they said nothing and waited.

"The place you guys will be going to is a Dungeon with monsters. You will be placed in your own separate Dungeon for this trial."

"Monsters? We can't fight monsters?! We'll be killed!" A woman was horrified when she heard what Zurial said.

"I've killed monsters in the game, I don't want to fight them in real life. I'm not ready to die yet, no, I'll never be ready for it!" A man protested all the same.

"Yeah, send me home!"

"I don't want to be here!"

"I know we're here because of that game, just send us back to our home!"

The crowd was once again riled up after hearing that they would have to face real-life monsters. They were hard to deal with in the game, why would they want to fight them in real life?

"Silence!" And just like the last time, Zuriel suppressed the crowd with one word.

'Sh*t! I'm starting to hate this forceful silencing!' A man thought to himself. He wasn't the only one who thought this.

"The part you guys have been waiting for the most has come. Those who wish to go home may leave through those portals." Zuriel pointed in three different directions and said.

"If you participate in the trial, even if you are killed, you will be returned to your home. Of course, you will be unable to recount the events that have happened here."

Many people didn't care and proceeded toward the portal to return home. Leon thought for a moment and decided to stay.

"I'm staying for sure." Aaron didn't want to leave, this was his chance to get stronger, perhaps.

Many people swarmed the portals and left the strange forest-like world. This continued for 2 hours until it finally stopped.

Leon gazed at the sky and knew how many people were left.

[249,211/1,000,000]

Zuriel sighed and spoke once he saw that no one else appeared to be leaving.

"For the Dungeon, once you beat the Dungeon Beta Trial, you will be given a choice..." Zuriel stopped there before changing the subject.

"You will now be teleported to a secluded room with an attendant. He or She will guide you in picking skills, weapons, armor, etc. If you have any questions about anything I've said, you may ask them to brief you."

Without giving anyone time to speak, Zuriel waved his hand and everyone was warped away. He didn't even give anyone a final warning on deciding if they should leave or not.

Leon wanted to give his brother some tips on what skills he should pick to survive, but it was too late. Leon arrived in a secluded room, it was neither too big nor too small.

"Ah, welcome, Leon. I will be your helper for the time being." Leon heard a soothing voice that caused static to shriek through his body.

It was a woman with pink hair and eyes with 2 sets of wings on her back. Her skin was fair and her smile was mesmerizing. This was to the point where Leon—a mere mortal, couldn't help but stare with widened eyes.

He had never seen a woman that looked this good in his life, her body was just perfect like her face!

Snap!

The woman chuckled and snapped her fingers to bring Leon out of his stupor.

"Ah, sorry, sorry, I've never lost myself like that before." Leon was a bit embarrassed. He had seen many beauties before, but this had never happened, not even close.

"It's okay, Leon, it isn't that serious." She laughed and continued "Let me introduce myself, my name is Auriel and I will be your helper throughout the trial."

"Ah, okay, nice to meet you Auriel." Leon nodded and said seriously.

"I can't wait to see how you progress and change throughout your journey. No offense, but there's much that needs to be improved." Auriel said matter of factually.

Leon clearly knew what she meant, but he wasn't offended because she wasn't lying. Seeing Leon's reaction, she nodded in approval.

"Over here, this is what you would call a computer monitor. Here, you can use the points assigned to you to buy skills, weapons, armor, and so forth. You are given 500 points at the start, so use them wisely."

Auriel pointed toward a computer set that sat on a desk with a gaming chair pushed toward it. Leon was stunned, he had not seen this before when he came into this room.

Without hesitation, he took a seat at the desk.

"Don't forget to open your [Starter Box], everyone gets the same thing inside. These are the basic things that are needed for every beginner such as yourself." Auriel reminded.

Leon nodded and gazed at the screen where he saw all of his options.
