Another day passed as we approached the Baltimore family's territory.
I was enjoying my free time with the girls, right now they were doing what they have wanted to do most since they came on board.
"So... you're a fairy?"
"I'm not. I am an artificial intelligence of an ancient humankind."
"Alisa, maybe it's from the land where he comes from. That makes the mister fairy all more fantastic!"
"I am not a fairy, I'm the pinnacle of technology that ancient humans created."
The girls were touching Ixion, who came to tell me that the repairs to the boats he gathered were ready.
Then, they came into my room and saw him.
Since they know of his existence, he no longer needed to hide.
But he tried to do it and Alisa stopped him as she happened to grab him.
"I want to know more about this thing is around Rudel."
Alisa said as she stopped Ixion from flying away after becoming invisible.
Airi approached with a smile and watched her reflex in Ixion's metallic body.
"It was you who helped us during the incident on the cruise and with Earl Rossini's daughter, wasn't it?"
"I wanted to thank you very much. I'm really grateful to you for saving us."
"... You don't need to be thankful for anything. In fact, they don't need to be thankful because..."
"Because what?"
Airi was very curious about what Ixion didn't finish saying. But Ixion himself didn't even want to finish what he was going to say.
He just hovered near my shoulder and then we proceeded to chat over tea.
Alisa was amazed at how Ixion floated the teapot as he poured her tea.
Then Airi thanked him for wiping her mouth.
This dude was very attentive for some reason.
"Thank you very much."
"It's my job. There's nothing to be thankful for."
"Even if so, being thankful for the help given for anything is something a person should do."
"Now I understand why the Master didn't want to lose both of you."
"Huh?"
"Nothing."
Ixion returned to my side after saying a strange thing.
I clearly enjoy being around him, or is there something I don't know?
It doesn't matter. I continued to enjoy they company.
It is moments like these that I treasure.
But... they won't last forever.
One day, they and I will separate.
Alisa will marry a nobleman from an important family and Airi will marry some guy from the countryside who may be a commoner or a nobleman's mistress.
While I'll have to marry a horrible daughter of a noble house who doesn't want me.
I'm getting depressed myself. I'd better talk about a quick cheerful topic.
"By the way, we'll arrive tomorrow, won't we?"
Alisa briefly put down her cup of tea to tell me.
"Yes. Today at noon we will be entering the domain of the Baltimore territory. But we will not be near his residence."
"I see."
"If it had been Brunhilde alone, we would have arrived the same day."
"That's because my brother mobilized fleet from our allies and our house. Don't compare a lost item to normal airships. But... you're right."
"With just Brunhilde it would be much quicker to come and go. But if it were."
Alisa rested her head on Airi's shoulder.
"I would not have enjoyed these moments that I would never forget."
"I'm glad it did, too!"
The friendship between girls was very nice, it made me feel weird being the third in that group.
But, what made it even weirder for me is that the two of them are so close together.
I'd say... too close together, wouldn't you?
I mean... I heard from their own mouths that they sleep together, change clothes together and even sleep in the same bed.
That's... that's too weird.
In my previous life there were people like that, but they were lovers.
... I hope it's just my crazy imagination.
Airi looked at Ixion very intently.
"What's going on?"
His mouth opened and closed as if she wanted to say something, but after a brief moment, her eyes became serious.
"Miss Fairy, may I call you Ix-kun?"
Both Ixion and I froze when we heard that. We never expected something like that to happen.
For some reason, Ixion who had denied being a fairy and being seen by others, was trembling. He seemed to be angry.
I was going to tell Airi to forget it, but this guy said something that intrigued me more in the confusion.
"... As you wish, I don't really care."
Did he just say he doesn't care?
Ixion turned away from being seen. For some reason, I got the impression that he was embarrassed.
Hey, is a serious guy like him ashamed to be called that?
Hey, you're supposed to be a cold and emotionless guy, don't blush!
Things were really entertaining until we heard an alarm.
The alarm was the same when we were attacked by the shark fin pirates.
Footsteps approached the room.
The door opened quickly and Derek was sweating.
"Viscount, there's trouble!"
"What's going on?"
"It's an enemy fleet!"
The three of us looked at each other and hurried to the booth.
◇
Brunhilde's cabin was occupied by robots and sailors.
When we arrived, we watched what everyone was looking at.
A large enemy fleet was in front of us.
Ixion was analyzing the situation.
He did a quick scan of the situation.
It projected a holographic image in the center.
Everyone was surprised.
The girls placed their fingers to touch it.
As their fingers went up and down, Ixion informed us.
"There are about 150 aircraft."
"That's five times the number of our fleet!"
"That's not all. There seems to be a large number of armed units inside. They numbered 820 while ours numbered 200."
"That's even worse! It's just like a small invasion fleet!"
"The worst doesn't end there, watch this."
The image changed to two ridges.
One was a pirate flag in the shape of a red ogre and the other was a family crest.
"It seems that Baltimore Household has joined with the pirates to attack us."
"You can clearly see that!"
"I propose its immediate destruction to avoid problems."
Something similar happened once. It was when I faced the shark fin pirates.
I had a terrible time, but now I had allies. So things won't be like they were before.
Before I could say anything.
"Warn everyone to prepare for combat!"
Vayne who was in the cockpit communicated on an open channel.
"The fleet of Bismarck Household will fight the traitors! The flagship will be our target!"
By a snail-like device the allies responded.
Vayne approached me.
"Viscount, I'm sorry, but I'd like you not to be a part of this."
"Huh?"
"This is our problem. We confirm that they are our enemies so the traitors must be eliminated."
"You're just an escort to scare them, so you shouldn't get into trouble that doesn't involve you."
"Onii-sama, with all due respect, reconsider it."
Alisa stepped in as she took her older brother's hand.
Vayne looked at her with a straight face.
"Alisa, why do you say that?"
"Rudel already went through something like this once, even when that cruise incident happened. Right now our numbers are small to them, the only person who can turn this inevitable defeat around us is him."
Alisa told her brother that they were going to lose. But with me they were going to win.
Vayne was looking at us every so often and then sighed.
"Indeed. The Alisa I remember would never have said that Bismarck Household was going to lose."
It seemed that Alisa was embarrassed and her tone of voice was cracked.
"T-That's because I didn't really understand it the level of a normal fleet and a lost item!"
"Now that I know, it would certainly be a lot easier with Rudel on our side!"
Vayne looked at Alisa as if a little girl had recognized her mistakes.
"All right. Viscount Bradford, please give us your help. But, only when I'm in trouble."
"Onii-sama, that's it!-"
"Alisa, this problem concerns our faction. The viscount is not part of our faction to ask him to go fight."
"Or... maybe you're thinking of finding him a girl from one of our vassal houses to ask it?"
"…!"
Alisa was speechless for some reason.
Vayne came out of the booth along with Derek and a few other men.
◇
We arrived at the hangar where some armed units were stored here.
Some of the men had already climbed into theirs. We found Hudson ready to leave without closing the cabin, Vayne told him.
"I'll go out too, watch my back."
"I understand."
"Onii-sama too!?"
She turned to look at Alisa.
"Even if I am the heir of a duke. I'm still a knight of the kingdom and the Bismarck family. It is my duty to defend the country."
"But..."
Besides, Vayne came over to say something to Alisa, Ixion reproduced what he said thanks to the fact that he picked up their conversation, the very bold one.
"You should know what the 'call of our blood' means. My instinct tells me to go, otherwise I'll definitely be in a bad mood."
Alisa sighed at that.
"Let me see your eyes."
Vayne showed him her eyes, for some reason they were brighter and redder than they are.
"You're right. Go ahead."
Vayne was already changed into a blue body-tight pilot suit with the family crest near his heart.
He climbed into a unit armed with two swords.
It was yellow like his hair and red-eyed.
I had my suit ready to change at any time.
"It's time to go out."
Once the cockpit was closed, Vayne accompanied by Hudson and the others, went out to fight.
I'm very curious about what they were talking about.
◇◇◇
The combined enemy fleet belonged to the Red Ogre pirate gang and Baltimore Household.
The flagship was a pirate ship with the Baltimore coat of arms.
In the operator's cabin were two people watching the situation with binoculars.
One of them was Mark who was trembling.
The other was Basley who had a very sinister cheek to cheek grin.
Mark said to Basley as he broke out in a cold sweat.
"H-Hey... are we really going to do it?"
"It's too late to back out now, brat. Besides, you said I agreed."
Yesterday, afternoon, Basley told Mark that he wanted to crush the noble pirate hunter, namely Rudel.
Mark was going to reject that proposal until he heard Basley tell him that if he defeated Bismarck Household, he will be known to all pirates as the strongest nobleman of all for defeating a ducal house.
Mark was a big idiot. He didn't think about how absurd that was.
If he made it true, the palace will investigate the matter.
Saying that a fleet of pirates did it wouldn't really convince them.
Basley didn't really care about Baltimore Household, so their safety and well-being was unnecessary to him.
He would look for other allies, he already got what he wanted, he only needed to finish with the one who ruined his revenge.
"B-But... it's a ducal house, our opponent!"
"They're relatives of the royal family! They won't keep quiet!"
"I heard from a friend who no longer exists, that the royal family's relationship with two other dukes isn't very good. So one of them disappearing wouldn't really matter."
"Don't be a coward and get some guts!"
That bothered Mark, being called a coward.
"Aah, very good!"
"Bastards! Commence the attack!"
The entire combined fleet roared at the sound of the attack order.
The airships were much larger than those of his opponent.
That's because they were bought abroad, from a country called Aster.
The armed units were also from there, they all went out to fight.
The fleet of Bismarck Household, led by Mathias in the flagship, were headed to fight as well as the armed units.
They all went out.
The battle began.
◇◇◇
Mathias in the operator's cabin of the flagship shouted.
"Don't hesitate! Show those traitors the power of the Bismarck Household!"
The ships were firing their cannons.
Cannonballs flew at high speed hitting wood and steel.
Men were flying straight into the ocean while screaming.
The cannons roared furiously in that beautiful sky.
Mathias was sweating as he watched the situation to sort out what to do.
They also used magic cannonballs.
These are normal bullets imbued with various magical elements.
Even the activated shields couldn't repel all the damage caused by the impacts.
If the aircrafts had it difficult, the armed units had it worse.
Some protected the ships while others approached the enemy ships to board them while in the center were the central forces fighting.
Vayne was there.
His twin swords moved as if they were a gust of wind. Slashing enemies here and there.
He looked like he was having fun.
"Come on, come on!"
Hudson had his back.
But the enemies were many.
An allied armored unit fell as it was fired upon from above.
A dozen pirates were approaching.
Vayne saw them, and went to cut them down.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"
He mercilessly cut down enemies while Hudson backed him up.
Despite how the situation looked. Bismarck Household was not losing.
◇◇◇
In the operator's cabin, Basley and Mark saw everything.
"Hey, why are we outnumbering them but losing more allies?"
"It's because they're a trained army. Yours are incompetent, my boys don't know how to react to having mates they've never fought with. Trust in fellow soldiers is vital for pirates."
"You are useless."
Basley turned around and walked out as if it were a U-shaped road.
"Where are you going?"
Mark asked, Basley without turning around said.
"Kick those guys' asses."
◇◇◇
Vayne and Hudson fought hard against the pirates and soldiers of Baltimore Household.
It wasn't the first time they had done so. They were enemies a long time ago because of their status, but after fighting several times they started to get along.
That's why Vayne trusted him with his back.
A quick sound was heard. Hudson approached Vayne to cover him, without even seeing him, his left arm and part of his shoulder were destroyed.
Near them, a large perverse red armed unit was flying.
His body was more robust than Battler's.
He held a greatsword the size of his pilot in one hand.
The sword was almost rusty and black with dirt, grease and blood on its cold steel.
It was Basley who was laughing on the inside.
"Hahahaha! Until recently you were happy killing my men and now you can't fight anymore, isn't it wonderful?"
"I'll finish you off quickly and go find that bastard."
Basley flew straight at Vayne, Hudson could do nothing just a shield.
Vayne pushed him aside so he wouldn't get another attack.
Vayne covered himself with both swords, but nothing happened.
He realized too late that Basley had made a feint.
His sword was under his right arm.
Quickly Vayne withdrew his hand and the right arm of his armed unit was cut off at the shoulder.
He only had one sword left, but it was in the hand that he wasn't very good with it.
Vayne began to feel that the situation was getting very bad.
"Hudson, stand down!"
"I won't do it!"
Vayne was searching to save his partner from long battles until they heard a sound even more mysterious than the previous one.
It was like that of an incoming missile.
Basley also turned his gaze to where the sound was coming from, but saw nothing.
Then-
"Really, you guys never learn, do you?"
A kick came from the sky and Basley was falling into the ocean, but after spinning around several times. He managed to stabilize his mobile knight.
Looking at the sky, a huge jet-black armed unit was flying with a huge suitcase on its back.
Basley didn't meet him, but he knew rumors about that flying demon.
He flashed a terrified smile.
"You finally came, Demon of the Realm!"
Battler had come to the battlefield to help.
◇
It was getting terrible.
Vayne and Hudson were in danger. I looked at Alisa and she nodded.
I ran straight to the hangar and changed, then boarded Battler, told Ixion to stay in case pirates approached.
The hatch opened and I went straight into battle.
To surprise the pirate, I flew into the sky and then fell down to give him a strong kick.
His armed unit was stronger and was not destroyed.
His toughness was different from that of the bloody bastard.
The bastard looked at me as he gestured for Vayne to go to the ship.
I heard his horrible, hoarse voice.
"So you're the famous noble pirate hunter, huh?"
"I'm glad you know me, but I'm not interested in a man remembering me. I want to get this over with quickly."
"I am Basley the Enforcer, the captain of the pirate band the Red Ogres. My armed unit is Zeldris of the Vult Class, an ancient generation."
"Is that so? Nice to meet you, I'm Rudel and this boy is Battler."
"This machine is suitable for me. To move it, it needs not only magic power, it also needs to use the physical strength of the limbs and the endurance to withstand the immense heat that grows with the passage of use."
"I am the pirate most worthy to rule the skies and the seas!"
"Yeah yeah, yeah. Whatever you say. Let's get this over with, red bear."
Out of the backpack flew an object, it was my best weapon. I was going to kick his ass as fast as I could.
When it reached my hand, I showed it.
My mighty sword.
"Admira my-"
I was stunned to see what came out-
"Again!"
"A pipe, a pipe fell into my hand."
A camera was embedded inside, I looked inside and there were only pipes.
Then I remembered what Ixion said.
"I had to repair Battler so I put away the weapons and replaced them with what took it's place. If you get into a fight, just use your hands."
"DAMN YOU IXION, YOU BETTER NOT PUT ANYTHING IF YOU JUST DIDN'T WANT THEM TO GET DIRTY!"
I had no other choice for a weapon except to steal an enemy's, but Battler's strength was stronger so normal weapons would be destroyed.
It doesn't matter anymore, let's kick his ass.
I rushed up to him and with the pipe in my hands I gave him a hard blow.
The bastard's sword was sturdy despite being rusty.
Our "swords" clashed repeatedly.
Even though Battler was superior in every way, this guy's strength was no joke.
He could repel my strong blows with no problem.
I moved closer and kicked him.
The kick was so hard that a dent was left in his belly.
I thought that would be enough, but he's very tough, I'll keep punishing him.
I threw a smoke bomb.
The guy had no idea what was going on, but I didn't care.
I turned around and attacked him from behind with a big swing.
The sound of steel against steel clashing echoed all the way into my cockpit.
He was falling.
Unlike the other time I fought pirates, I will show him no mercy.
I will not kill them, I am not a murderer. But the Kingdom will punish them.
My hands will be clean and I will not be treated like a murderer.
After giving him more blows.
The sword began to crack.
His armed unit was more bruised.
He would soon give up as none of them can defeat Battler.
At that moment when I thought I had won, he ran away.
◇◇◇
Rightfully after Rudel came out, Alisa and Airi were on the deck watching the fight.
Ixion was close to them.
"I don't like it when they fight."
Airi said making a sad face. She hated violence.
Even if she was present in several death situations before.
Alisa grabbed her shoulder.
"Don't think I don't like to see this either. Those who are falling are vassals of my father and brother. They're people I've known since I was a child."
"Besides, you don't need to worry about enemies, Airi."
"But even so, it's wrong that they have to fight for absurd things. On my island there was rarely anything to eat, but no one committed crimes."
"Your island was under the control of a noble, so the food was only taken by that guy. It's not the same as them."
"They are criminals. Even if the situation is unfavorable, stooping to committing crimes is an act that deserves to be punished, and even worse if it is treason."
"I'm not asking you to change, I like you the way you are. But I am asking you to turn your eyes away and cover your ears at times like this."
The sounds of cannon fire and shouting were intense.
Airi smiled at Alisa.
"Thank you."
"We're friends, your mental or physical well-being is more important to me than you think."
Alisa was smiling warmly, Airi too. For some reason, a pink aura was above them in the shape of a heart.
Alisa's gaze shifted to the front. She was looking at the enemy fleet.
Between them, she watched the flagship after a cautious observation.
She turned now to Ixion.
"Ixion, can you take care of the flagship to lower their morale?"
"…"
Ixion didn't answer Alisa.
Alisa spoke to him again in a louder tone.
"Ixion, I said if you-!"
"I heard you."
"So... why don't you answer?"
His spherical body turned towards Alisa and spoke in a cold tone.
"Alicelotte, don't misunderstand me. You are not my master, I have no obligation to obey you. So please don't order me around again."
Alisa had a lump in her throat. Even if she spoke respectfully to Ixion, she still spoke like the daughter of a duke, a person of great authority.
Ixion's tone grew colder.
"I take this opportunity to tell you this as well. If you or your family... or even the Kingdom tries to do anything to Master, you will not get away with it."
Alisa understood what Ixion was saying, but she didn't hesitate at the potential threat.
"You don't need to worry about anything bad happening to Rudel. I won't let anyone, not even my family or the palace, try to do anything to him."
Ixion stared at her momentarily and then spoke.
"It's a joke."
"Huh?"
I have known you from the beginning. I know you would never do anything to hurt the Master. I only said it to make sure that what you will see will not bring trouble to the Master.
Brunhilde began to move. It was heading to the battlefield.
"Besides, I was about to do it, I'm not following your orders."
The two cannons on the deck were pointed at a ship.
That ship was where Mark was screaming.
"Come on, don't be idiots! You can do it! Huh-?"
Mark realized that a ship was targeting him.
-"Protect me you idiots!"
Enemy ships as well as armed units were heading straight for Brunhilde.
Ixion gave an order.
"Go."
Drones with machine guns with rubber bullets and robots with bazookas were on the sides of the ship.
The drones were flying directly at the armed units.
They shot magic bullets at them and with their swords tried to cut them down.
But neither bullets nor swords hurt them.
The drones took aim and... boom.
One after another the armed units were dropping like flies.
While the ships were hit by smoke missiles.
The impact was enough to give them turbulence.
Some would turn around and others would follow.
Ixion paid them no mind as he was following Rudel's annoying order not to kill.
The double barrel was in position.
"Fire."
Two missiles were fired, flying straight at the enemy flagship.
They were passing through ships and were hitting armed units with their impulse power.
It was all calculated not to kill the humans.
The two missiles hit the rear of the flagship.
"Hey!? What happened!?"
The back of the boat was on fire.
Then, another shot came, straight ahead.
"How did this happen?!"
The front was on fire too, the flagship was falling straight into the sea to crash.
"Uwaah~ save me mom~!"
Mark screamed and cried as his ship fell into the ocean.
Remains were floating due to the strong impact it had.
"Umm, only two shots were enough. I was hoping for one, but it doesn't matter."
Ixion already had more missiles loaded.
He aimed at the larger ships and shot them down with a single shot.
It seemed like child's play as even the magic shields couldn't resist their artillery.
Airi saw that and was amazed.
"U-Unbelievable..."
"No matter how many times I see it. The power of a lost item is amazing."
"It certainly is. With this power, Rudel could take over a country if he wanted to."
Airi was startled to hear that.
"Don't say that Alisa! Rudel-san isn't the kind of person who would do such a horrible thing!"
Alisa reassured Airi.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry! But... it's just that if you really think about it, Rudel would be capable."
"He wouldn't be capable of that!"
"D-Don't misunderstand me!"
"I'm saying it would be possible if he wanted to. But that guy doesn't have that kind of mentality. Besides, I wouldn't let him do it anyway."
"People would look at him with fear."
"Oh, do they care so much for the Master like that? If they want his safety more than anything else, why don't you then become his-?"
Ixion's rare comment was interrupted due to a strong movement that occurred.
"Kyah!"
Both girls shouted as they held each other. Making their big breasts squash against each other.
Turning around, Ixion noticed an armed unit near them.
It was Basley, he was hurt worse than he was due to the drones shooting at him.
"Guh, I won't lose! I'll take a victory using any method!"
Basley walked over to the girls, he grabbed Airi since she was closer to his hand.
"Airi, nooooooo!!!"
"Alisaaaaaa!!!"
They screamed as tears streamed down their cheeks.
Basley walked quickly away.
Alisa approached the railing, and screamed at the top of her lungs.
"Rudeeeeeeeel!!!!"
"Comeeeeeeeee!!!"
At that moment, a jet-black armed unit flew over at high speed.
"Get off her, you son of a bitch!"
Rudel was upset.
He reached out to cut off Basley's arm, but he knew he would do that.
He used his greatsword to aim for Airi's neck.
"If you move just one more inch! The bitch dies!"
Rudel's face showed a lot of anger, then he received a transmission from Ixion.
"Master, don't worry. I sent support, just go with every intention of killing him."
Hearing those words, Rudel pressed the pedal to the metal and the flame of the rockets on his back grew.
Battler flew at full speed.
Basley was about to slit Airi's throat, but suddenly his hand let go.
"What?"
Basley didn't notice that on his back was a drone which cut the muscles of his armed unit.
Even if he had great superhuman strength, a human body without magic power couldn't do much alone.
He couldn't even move his hand anymore.
Airi was falling, so Rudel was quick to end this with a single blow.
"I won't let you do as you please!"
The steel pipe came down at high speed.
He crashed into the head of his armed unit.
Basley's head was hit as well.
His one good eye rolled back.
Basley fell into the sea while Rudel flew to save Airi.
Even though she was falling.
His hands were clasped together and a smile on her face.
Rudel reached over and gently picked her up so she wouldn't hurt herself.
Airi was successfully rescued.
Ixion was firing at the enemy ships which were already at half their numbers.
The victory was decided.
Battler's cockpit opened and Airi stepped inside.
She hugged Rudel.
Her face turned red as she spluttered.
"A-A-Airi, it's okay! Y-You don't need to thank me!"
Airi let go of him and stood behind him.
Rudel was still embarrassed.
But Airi was showing a quality smile and her thought at that moment was.
(I wasn't afraid since I knew you would rescue me.)
(After all, you are my special person.)
That day ended with a crushing battle for the Bismarck Household.
◇
I was collecting the remains of the ships and armed units that fell into the ocean.
Fortunately no one was killed, not even pirates.
Airi was healing them.
I didn't want to tell her that the pirates would be executed so it was a waste.
But she was a good girl and I didn't want it to get bad.
As I was collecting the remains, I had a certain thought.
(No one takes care of destroyed or damaged airships.)
(So, how about I repair them and sell them?)
I still have the remains of the airship of the commonwealth.
I was thinking of opening not only a shipyard, but also a repair shop.
I'll use the scrap that Ixion doesn't want and make a lot of money.
I'm a genius and I love money!
◇◇◇
While Rudel was busy, Alisa and Airi were waiting for him in his room drinking tea.
Airi asked Alisa a curious question.
"Alisa, I'd like to ask you something. It's about that thing I overheard by accident."
"What is it?"
She put her cup on her plate and said.
"What was your brother talking about with his eyes?"
Alisa sighed.
"Forget it. It's nonsense from the Bismarck family."
"It's just... I worry if it's something bad."
"You shouldn't do it. But I'll tell you."
"You see, in the males of our family, there's this strange 'Gift' that we call 'the call of the blood', which means that a part of our insides urged us to fight. That causes our magical power to increase which causes our eye color to become much more intense. It's a silly thing that only happens with men."
"Huh? But, I remember seeing that twinkle in your eyes Alisa."
"... Huh?"
"Yes. When you got angry, your eyes would sparkle and it was scary. That's why Rudel-san doesn't want you to get angry."
"... Something like that is ridiculous. If it were like that, my magic power-"
Alisa remembered certain past events where she was very angry.
When she threatened the Rossini's daughter.
On the cruise when she fought the magical beasts and when she was a child and burned a hall in the royal palace.
She sipped her tea while hiding her face.
(I... I remember being excited, but to that point of being furious?)
◇
Vayne sent for me.
Entering a room. All the nobles were present.
They came up to me and applauded.
I didn't understand why.
"Thank you very much, Viscount."
"Why?"
"Without your help, we would have had a hard time."
"It's no big deal."
"No, I'm serious."
"That guy's power was strong. He certainly couldn't have defeated us alone."
It wasn't just Vayne praising me, everyone else, starting with Mathias, followed by Derek and then Hudson.
"The power of your airship is amazing! If you don't mind, could my non-heir son work as a sailor for you?"
"I'm amazed at what you've done, viscount. Surely you are someone this country needs. If you want to hire servants for your house or your territory. Don't hesitate to tell me, I will recommend the best retired servants in the country."
"It was quite a battle. Seeing how serious you got, I must say I'm thankful for restraining yourself, hahaha. No doubt you are the future for this country viscount."
Everyone thanked me or praised me.
That made me very embarrassed for some reason.
In my previous life I was never able to experience this, so I am a little confused.
Could it be that I have a complex?
I don't think so.
Vayne handed me a glass of juice instead of a servant.
"By the way, viscount, it seems that we will be seeing a lot more of each other in the future."
"Huh? Well, Alisa is my friend so it's true."
"Can I call you Rudel-kun instead of Viscount? I have a feeling it would be better to call you by your first name."
"Huh! Well, I don't object."
Vayne smiled and said a strange comment.
"I look forward to the future he will give to the Kingdom and the Bismarck Household."
Why did he say that?
I'm Alisa's vassal so it's normal for me to support her house, but that way of saying it was weird.
Like his gaze at me, it made me feel weird.
My connection is very bad, they are coming tomorrow to check it. I'll upload everything today, I had planned to upload it with a special SS but I don't feel like writing.
