Forest Tiger (part 1)

Ethan who saw someone crushing the ratman's head with a single attack quickly backed away from the magic beast and looked at it to see what it was and when he saw what it was his heart almost stopped beating.

A three-meter tall magic beast with light Yellow skin with black stripes all over his back, blood red eyes that want to destroy everything in its sight, a two-meter long tail coming out from its back whenever beast swing its tail, the wind cut apart from it's sheer force the three-meter tall magic beast was a tiger Ethan tried his best to calm down his beating heart after seeing the tiger that looks like it can crush him anytime, he used his passive skill level appraisal to check the level of the magic beast and what he saw made his heart pound even faster

He was unable to see it's level which mean it's level was higher than level ten he was not even fully confident killing magic beasts whose level was around level ten and this forest tiger's level was even higher than that. Ethan tried his best to keep his mind cool and think of a solution, while Ethan was thinking the tiger was eating ratman without even looking at him but Ethan was sure that the moment he started running or make his move the tiger will surely attack him how can a predator leave such easy prey.

While the tiger was eating Ethan somehow manage to regain his cool try to think of a solution he knows his all status points are very low compared to the tiger the way the tiger crushed the head of ratman shows that his strength is something he can't imagine, the way forest tiger attacked the ratman that Ethan couldn't even react before that was too late shows that it's agility is even more terrifying than it's strength.

This means that the tiger's agility is its highest state and the tiger can kill him in a single attack if he loose focus during the battle he will surely die without even knowing how the tiger killed him. After thinking about everything Ethan was sure that his chances of survival were very low if he made a single mistake he will die but at the same time if he somehow managed to overcome this challenge the reward he will receive will be worth his effort.

From the moment Ethan started to think only three minutes had passed and the tiger already finished eating the ratman and stared straight into Ethan's eyes, Ethan who also finished his analysis took a deep breath and held his sword in front of him they both stared at each others eye and tiger who didn't think Ethan as more than a livestock was enraged that he was staring straight into his eyes.

With a roar, the tiger vanished from his place and Ethan who was paying his full attention to the tiger quickly jumped sideways as soon as Ethan jumped sideways a claw hit the ground where he was standing a moment ago if he was a second too late the tiger would have crushed him with a single attack. After evading the attack of the tiger Ethan didn't immediately attack it but made some distance between them.

Tiger also didn't immediately attack and was surprised to see Ethan evade it's attack. Ethan then controlled his mana to the best of his ability and coated his sword with the mana a light blue layer of mana appeared on the sword but Ethan was not done yet and used the mana to strengthen his legs so that he can evade the tiger attack more easily.

But strengthening one's body with mana is very difficult you need to practice it for a very long time to master it and Ethan just learned how to apply mana to his weapon yesterday. When Ethan was coming to the dark forest and he had nothing to do he thought about using his mana to strengthen his body instead of his weapon and when he tried to do it he felt immense pain like his body would burst apart because he still can't control mana skillfully and his body is still very weak he can't strengthen his body with mana or he would feel immense pain.

But currently he doesn't have a choice if he wants to survive he has to use everything he got. He used mana to the best of his ability to strengthen his legs instead of his full body, although the pain was not as much as when he used to strengthen his all body still he felt like someone was pounding on his leg from the inside but he gritted his teeth and endured it.

His mana was also being used at a very high speed since he can't control it skillfully yet. Ethan knows that his mana will get empty in just one or two minutes and even if he didn't run out of mana he can't stay in this condition for long because his legs would burst apart at any moment.

'' If I want to live I have to finish it in one minute or I will be doomed'' Ethan muttered after he strengthen his legs with the help of mana but he didn't charge straight to the tiger because he knows that even if he strengthen himself with the help of mana he still can't compete with the tiger in terms of speed so he just shouted at tiger to make it come closer to him with his on occurred.

'' Come at me you stupid cat I will Tear you apart from my sword''

Hearing Ethan's voice although the tiger didn't understand what he said but it knew that it can't be something good so it roared and charged toward him.

Ethan tried to evade the attack by going sideway but the tiger was even faster than last time so it gazed at his left hand but since he evaded at the right time and he was also wearing a leather jacket that can absorb the attack power behind the attack Ethan just felt a slight pain and didn't lose focus after evading he didn't wait and swing his sword towards the tiger his sword that was strengthened by the mana struck the tiger at his left shoulder and dig dip into it red blood flow out from the tigers wound and it roared in pain.

But Ethan didn't stop because twenty seconds already passed since he strengthen his legs with the help of mana. And he was reaching his limit he pulled out the sword from the tiger's shoulder wound and made a horizontal slash at the tiger's neck but the forest tiger reacted quickly and defended his neck with the help of his right claw .

Its right claw didn't have much momentum because it didn't get enough time after Ethan's attack so when it's claw clashed with the sword that was coated with mana it's claw sliced apart from it's front leg, forest tiger who didn't expect that the normal looking black sword would slice apart it's claw couldn't help but roar in pain and his eyes that were already red become even redder because of the rage and pain the tiger didn't give Ethan any time after his attack and swing his left claw at him.

Ethan tried to defend himself with the sword but the power behind the attack of the tiger was immense and he flew five meters backward and crashed onto the ground he coughed a mouthful of blood but luckily none of his bone was broken if he didn't injure the tiger's left shoulder in the beginning he knew that there was a high possibility that most of his bones would have been broken from it's attack.

Thirty seconds have passed since the start of the fight and the muscles of Ethan's legs already started bleeding from the inside after Ethan crashed onto the ground the tiger ran towards Ethan but it's speed was very slow compared to before because his right claw was cut by Ethan and it's left shoulder was injured.

Ethan quickly get up from the ground and doge the tiger's attack his breathing was rough there was blood dripping from his mouth. The tiger roared at him and charged towards him once again Ethan who saw this didn't doge this time instead he also ran towards the tiger.

'' This is my only chance '' Ethan muttered and just as he was about to clash with the tiger he poured more of his mana into his legs and jumped up.
