The boy stayed silent the whole way back home. He didn't want to annoy me anymore, as I was already in a terrible mood. I didn't even try to hide my disapproval. The boy's stealth skills were simply non-existent. I tried to teach him, but so far, there hasn't been any visible progress.
When we got back to our apartment, I went straight to the kitchen to make myself some coffee. I planned to continue reading the organization's legal system for the rest of the evening, and finally start taking notes for my next meeting with that Alyssa girl.
"Umm…" The boy followed after me, tugging on the strap of his bag.
I ignored him completely, turning on the coffee machine.
Somehow, he seemed to have taken this as the permission to speak. "About the next training…" he started hesitantly.
I sighed. "In a few days, probably. Depending on your new work schedule."
