A moment later, we materialized in between the trees, deep in the park.
The surroundings looked exactly the same. So far, there was absolutely nothing that would indicate that we were in another world.
But to be fair, that probably would have been my usual impression. If it wasn't for the fact that usually the world I just left would have been in ruins, while the one I reappeared in was still undamaged and stable. Nevertheless, most of the differences I typically noticed came from the time that has passed, or from the works of fiction.
"Alright, then is that all?" I turned back to the girl. "Or wait, you need to buy yourself a SIM card, right?"
"Yes, I want to get it done today," she confirmed.
I scooped my own phone back from my pocket and turned on the screen. As expected, I had no signal. My own SIM card only worked in the previous world, after all. "I'll go with you."
