Suddenly, the entire atmosphere of the fight shifted.
'Phoebe!' Tuka shouted, gesturing for Lily to come as Gwen stepped in between the groups. They know that weapons are forbidden, as most superpowers far exceed the damaging capabilities of conventional weapons, though fighters often hold back when their attacks are a matter of life or death for their opponents.
That was the unspoken rule of professional fighting. Of course, accidents do happen, though it is often less so at the higher levels just because of the sheer amount of control the high-level fighters have when it comes to controlling their powers.
