The Cost of Victory
Alpha Jacky, the cloner was the first one to move as his body twitched as if he is dancing to an inaudible beat before his suit was sliced in halves as more and more of him were split out from the original. Soon, two turned into four, four turned into eight, and the rest filled up the entirety of the massive platforms they were standing on, or rather, a normal-sized staircase.
It didn't take long for all three of them to realize that the staircase is set up this way to challenge the candidates, as all three of them are shrinking while the rest of the world maintained the original sizes.
'Get.....me.....out.....of.....here!' Alpha Jacky shouted, his voice echoed distantly in the massive platforms as the clones he formed lunged underneath him, proving a jumping-off point which threw him high up into the air. Before he landed, the body twitched once again before more and more of his clones were made.
