A FRIEND'S JOKE

Leo arrived at the Borobudur City hotel which is located in central Jakarta. As scheduled. Of course, Leo's arrival had been awaited by Oskar on the 24th floor of the hotel.

He took the elevator to get there. Leo came alone without any escort.

"Welcome my dear," said Oskar happily.

He willingly welcomed Leo's presence with open arms. Oskar also approached Leo.

Before others congratulate him, Oskar wants to be the first to congratulate Leo.

"Thank you for this very lively boss welcome. Boss doesn't bother to pick me up like this," Leo said modestly.

"You don't have to be shy. Because you are a very special gem," said Oskar with serious praise.

Leo and Oskar embraced. Leo is Oskar's favorite, because every time he gets a task, Leo always completes it well.

Oskar was always satisfied with Leo's quick and tidy performance. Leo is the type of person who doesn't talk much, but he shows it with actions and not words alone.

"Come! Let's have lunch together. Surely you haven't eaten yet, have you?" Oskar led Leo to the dining table.

"No. Thank you. I can't eat at the same table with the boss," Leo said refusing gently.

"No no. I insist."

There was no rebuttal that Oskar wanted to hear. If he wants it, he must make it happen.

"Fine," Leo surrendered, following his boss's wishes.

They walked together towards the table that had been prepared. There were five guards guarding Oskar there. Including Sky, who is none other than Oskar's son.

"Come on, sit down!" said Oskar welcome.

"Thanks boss. Don't bother like this. I can do it myself."

Being served well makes Leo feel uncomfortable. It is not impossible because his status is subordinate while Oskar is his superior.

Often times Oskar pampers her too much, which naturally creates jealousy for Sky.

Sky who is the son of Oskar was never treated that well. Of course Sky was always jealous of Leo.

"Come on please enjoy!" asked Oscar.

Leo shook his head and took some of the food that was already on the table.

"Young master, come!" say hello to Sky.

"You don't have to pretend to be nice to me," Sky snapped.

His face was sullen. Her heart grumbled, and it really felt suffocating to eat at the same table as Leo.

He grabbed some side dishes roughly. Sky chewed even the chicken meat like someone who was starving.

"Let's spend it! Don't hesitate. Everything has been prepared for you, my dear."

Oskar's attention was always on Leo. While his son who was there was never seen or questioned.

"Father!"

Bruck!

Annoyed, annoyed, and annoyed. Sky stuck his butcher knife on the table.

"I'm sick of this drama!" pointing at his father shamelessly.

"Sit down!" asked Oskar looking calm. Emotions have not been shown. He was still holding it in order to keep Leo's feelings.

"I won't! I don't want to be at the table with someone like him! I'm sick of pretending to be the good guy!" rebuked Sky who started to get angry.

"Enough Sky!" see Oscar.

"What's wrong dad? Are you upset that I didn't do what you said? Because Leo dad never cared about me!" Sky's outrageous debate.

"Sky!" shouted Oskar furiously.

Oskar immediately pointed his firearm right at Sky's forehead. Once he pulled the trigger, the hot lead would pierce his son's head.

"Why stop dad? Come on, pick up your gun, dad! Kill me with your hands, dad!" he challenged.

The envy that pierced Sky's heart made him an angry figure. Of course Oskar did not believe that his biological son would speak disrespectfully to his parents.

"Sky!"

Oskar almost pulled the trigger, "Master!" Leo screamed and held Oskar from pulling the trigger.

Leo tries to resolve the dispute between the child and his parents.

"Hold on, master! Don't kill Sky. He is your only son. If you kill him, then who will succeed the Crimson Demons after you?" said Leo interceding.

Leo was right. Oskar also thinks that if Sky is killed then there will be no more heirs.

"Enough Leo! You don't even try to be nice to me," Sky snapped.

Leo only wanted to defend Sky in front of Oskar, but what the young man said. He otherwise did not accept the defense of the Leo.

"I'm sick of seeing your face. Because of you my father no longer trusts me. I am his son, but you are the one he loves!"

He added more and more spice to his resentment towards Leo.

"Enough Sky. You don't deserve to insult Leo like that. Yes, I do love him more, because I trust him so much. What's wrong with you?"

"Was dad wrong? Of course, dad was wrong!" Sky was so emotional that he dared to speak harshly to his own father.

"Father spoils this street kid too much! What's so special about a trash like him?!"

Oskar no longer tolerated Sky's words. A slap flew perfectly across Sky's cheek. His face turned red from the slap.

"Yes sir," Leo said.

"Hold on, sir."

Leo took swift action to separate the two. Sky, who didn't accept it, continued to roar at Oskar.

"Quickly take him away!" Leo ordered the guards.

On the one hand Leo kept Oscar from hurting his son. On the other hand there are some people who are trying to pull Sky's body so as not to keep fighting his father.

Sky was taken out of the restaurant area. He kept blabbering and cursing Leo.

"I do not accept being treated like this! I will repay all your treatment, Leo!" he shouted from a distance.

Sky was taken away from there and treated like a stranger, even he was deliberately dumped by his father.

Truly doubled. No wonder Sky felt jealous because his father's attention was only for Leo.

"Let me go." Oscar asked.

"Sorry sir," Leo replied letting go of his grip.

"Sorry for Sky's bad attitude. I don't know, why does he think like a child?"

"No big deal sir. I totally understand how Sky is feeling right now. Maybe she needs some time to calm down," Leo said wisely.

"You're right. I think I put too much pressure on him," replied Oskar.

There is the guilt of an Oskar who is known to be heartless. It was the first time he had seen Sky this angry. Usually Sky wasn't this emotional.

Could he be putting too much pressure on his own son?

"Okay. Forget him. We'd better get on with our lunch. Come on!" bring Oscar back.

They were indeed having a meal together, because there was a small incident that was made by Sky, which made the lunch event a mess.

"Please!" Oskar again invited Leo to take his food.

"Yes."

Leo nodded and slowly started picking up some side dishes. They ate together as previously planned.

Even though Sky wasn't there, everything went smoothly.

Oskar had ignored Sky. If there is Leo then Sky is nothing to think about.

On the different side. Sky was driving alone on the road. He kept grumbling and nagging to himself.

"Leo, Leo, Leo, Leo!"

"Leo did this! Leo did that! It's okay Leo. Leo, Leo and Leo. There's only Leo on my mind."

"I wonder at dad. What's so great about Leo?

He kept nagging himself. Sky also imitated his father's style when he was praising Leo in front of him.

"Aren't you annoyed every day, Leo, Leo, Leo and Leo? Is it only Leo in this world who is great?!"

"Leo you are very cool. You are my favorite," he repeated, imitating the words Oskar often used.

I don't know how many times Sky mentioned Leo's name? She was too angry with a man who she didn't think was as great as her father thought.

"Just watch. I'll prove to dad, that I'm great too. I'll try to win back dad's trust. Not only Leo is cool. Me too," he praised himself.

"Watch out for you Leo. I will make you disappear from my father's life for good," he grunted.

Sky also focused back on the road, although his heart still felt irritated. At least he's let go of some of his things.
