Leslie Gets Trapped

Alicia's heart was racing hard, scared for her mom. She tried to keep her voice calm and said, "I need to hear my mom talk on the phone. Let her speak."

Leslie was kind of freaked out, not knowing what to say. Genevieve, after all, was in the secret room below the ground, knocked out, and couldn't say anything. He wasn't some expert kidnapper, this had all happened out of the blue.

Seeing that he wasn't saying anything, Alicia got suspicious. "Are you lying to me?" she asked.

Leslie clenched his teeth, "Hold on, I'll snap a pic for you."

Alicia's voice got firm, "Photos can be tricked. Let's do a video chat instead. You want a bunch of cash, I gotta make sure."

Leslie thought for a second, then agreed, "Okay."
