Chapter 122: Interlude in Apollon

Apollon was held up well by an iron fist. Ever since its owner and leader Eugene hall had left the place behind and had joined Deep Down Town as an adventurer, the lordship of the city had gone in the hands of its current and new ruler, Lily.

The plan was to keep people from chasing him for Eugene. By letting Lily hold the title of the Lord, he had done multiple things.

He had firstly made it easier for people who had evil intentions to target Apollon, thus tying down the most annoying and bothersome of his possible pursuant, Keith down to the town to be forced to protect Lily at all times.

And second, by making it so that only Lily's signature or stamp could keep the place moving, he had ensured that Maria, the older and naturally more competent of the two when it came it such matters be held down as well.

All they would need was one missed sign and one evil man to make sure that all that Eugene and the others had worked for would go down the drain.
