XIX. Conclusion

The knight, clad in a sturdy suit of armor, collapses on the ground while struggling to catch his breath.

The impact of a powerful blow causes him to groan in pain, visibly wounded.

His hair is a striking shade of deep blue and his eyes resemble those of his mother, vacant and weary. Exhausted, he turns his attention towards me and utters words through labored breaths.

"He's all yours father." Kyle said.

A grown old man emerged, holding a glimmering silver sword with a blue ornament-shaped guard and carvings on the blade that once belonged to his beloved.

Clad in the attire of a seasoned adventurer, he walked with a jacket billowing behind him, swayed by the power of the air rushing ahead.

His fate awaited him, teasingly dangling just within his sight. Gradually, a radiant light emanated from his hands, flowing into the very core of his sword. With a swift motion, he swung his blade and directed it squarely at the formidable demon king.

"You said it'd take another generation to find you, well here I am. If a prophecy truly is real that the one who gets to defeat you isn't me but my son. Then I'll let it be. But the final blow will be mine." I said Infront of Azol.

His left foot had been completely torn off during the final battle between my son, Kyle, and him. His body was covered in bruises and blood was flowing from his chest.

Numerous wounds could be seen all over his body, a testament to the intensity of the fight.

Exhausted, he took a seat on his throne for the last time, gasping for breath. As his hands trembled, he mustered th last bit of strength to raise his sword, but it proved too heavy for him to swing. With an oddly satisfied expression, he locked eyes with me.

"Seems like I was wrong, how unfortunate it is." Azol admitted his mistake.

I seized the opportunity and lunged towards him without hesitation, knowing that nothing else mattered in that moment. All that was required was my sword aimed at him.

As I closed the distance between us, a rush of memories from every aspect of my life flooded through my mind.

Gratitude filled my heart, acknowledging everything that had led me to this point. This would be my ultimate journey, the final culmination of a story I had embarked upon. It symbolized the end of everything.

Once I got him, he stared at me with a mixture of surprise and disbelief. Gradually, a smile formed on his face, and he gripped my sword tightly.

As his eyes began to flutter shut, an ethereal glow surrounded us, and his body gradually faded away into nothingness, In that moment, it became clear that Azol's own demise had finally arrived.
