CH:8 Meet him

I got tensed and started searching for him "He is already very weak, Where he could be? "I started shouting out his name in the corridor and then a nurse asked me to keep quiet but I was so tensed. I was still running here and there to search for him. And suddenly he appeared with a boy with icy hairs the boy seemed to be older than me; he was holding Jacob's hand which was quite an unpleasant scene.

I went near him and asked the boy with icy hairs "Who are you, what are you doing with him and why are you holding his hand like this, are you here to harm him?" I bombarded the questions and the boy was still looking at me in a confused manner Then Jacob put his hand on my shoulder and said to me in a soft voice"Hey! Calm down, he is my coworker we work in the same cafe he came here to meet me." He paused and then said "Meet him, he is Eddie" as he pointed towards the boy as the guy took out his hand for a handshake. I ignored him and said "Nice to meet you. I'm Mason."

We then went to the room and I asked "Where were you I shouted out your name but you didn't reply?"." Actually, I went to the washroom as it was very urgent so Eddie helped me to go to the washroom." He replied. I just nodded in a reply and asked him to sit on the bed. He sat there silently and I placed the porridge and the coffee on the table and said: "Jacob the doctor want you to meet him he said that he wants you to go to his cabin as this will work as an exercise so please can you go there as he has to give you medications.". Jacob then looked at me and said "OH! How could I... I'm not even able to hold my legs to their position yet." and paused for a while and looked at Eddie and asked "Will you please help me go to the cabin?" and looked at him until he nodded and said "yes."

I felt quite bad when he asked Eddie for his help but not me. I just smiled there and just saw Eddie helping him; he was holding Jacob too close which was bothering me in a very weird manner. I was looking at him until my smile faded away. Eddie was still struggling with Jacob and was very clumsy. He almost dropped Jacob, but I grabbed Jacob and held him closer and tighter. At that moment my heart beat like it would plop out of my body anytime. And I bet it was audible too.

But I ignored the fact that my heart was about to burst and put my hand around Jacob's waist and one on his shoulder and took him to the doctor's room. He was holding my shirt and it was so cute. The doctor gave him a slip with the various exercises name which would help in fast recovery. We went back to the room and saw Eddie was still there and was sitting on Jacob's bed; I gently took Jacob near his bed and helped him to sit down. Eddie stood up from the bed and said" I will leave now I was waiting for you only so that I can bid a bye. Get well soon Jac... "He said and went away after bowing to me...
