Wolves of Asgard

Reinhardt Wiseman was always in the shadow of his older brother Johan Wiseman the son of a prostitute barely making ends meet in the Big Apple. He longed to practice his violin somewhere where he would be appreciated. Soon he is adopted into the Wiseman household of the esteemed author Isaac Wiseman. There he grows up to be quite a violin and music virtuouso who is appreciated widely in all of the nightclubs of downtown Los Angeles. However this is not to be as the void demons are preparing for an invasion of Reinhardt's version of earth. He discovers that he and several of his closest friends are werewolves and they all adventure together to discover the origins of the void and what went wrong to cause reality to malfunction and why gods from two Pantheons fall enough causes creatures from the void to spill forth. On the lowest layer of Reality, the void demon king is plotting his revenge on all of reality. What is his deal. This demon king named Void Chaos and why does he want to bring ruination to all of reality. This is a tale of seven heroes told from first person as they explore the world of Wolves of Asgard together and try their damnedest to survive. Prologue: I'm planning to write this out as it's own book before the story truly begins in earnest so I'm going to be working on this as well as the first book together. This has to deal with the invasion of the heaven realms by the void demons and their armies, the star-crossed love between Sophia and Fenrir and the role the Blood demon wolves play in all of this and their prophecy to be the ones to defeat the void demon army. Book 1 (Chapters 1-100): This book is going to be focused on the trials that Reinhardt Wiseman undertakes as he proves himself to be a worthy leader for the individual blood demon wolves and their goals around the nine realms. There will be seven wolves in total each with their own differing personalities as well as cool blood related powers although the main narrator is going to be the older version of Bloodedge. Note from the author: This is my first time writing a webnovel and I'm mostly going to be doing this for fun. Please if you leave a review or criticism please do not make it too overly aggressive. I'm a webnovel newbie and a newbie at writing in general and this is mostly to meet a personal goal of mine to be a novelist as such I outline about ten chapters every weekend and try to write to meet them every week. The update schedule is going to be rather sporadic as this isn't really meant to attract all that many readers and personally just be a pet project that I work furiously on. This is just something I'm writing for fun about a character that's been in mind a lot and I'm hoping to have a lot of fun sharing his travels of the nine realms with you and everyone who is either brave or foolish enough (This is my first work on here.) to read the drivel I have to write.

Chapter 1: Heaven Rouge (Part 2)

I spent the rest of the time other people had to perform with my girlfriend, she had ordered this giant roast Peking Duck that she couldn't finish all by her lonesome and had invited me to eat with her. I happily obliged and was happily chowing down when I heard a certain voice that seemed to be coming from inside my own head.

"Hey there, I know you're in the middle of something but you need to escape... like now" What the fuck, I thought to myself. Who said that I wondered and why in all the layers of hell would I listen to you. I enjoyed being here with my friends.

I looked around hoping that I wasn't going crazy. There had to be some logical explanation for where the voice had come from. My eyes landed on a large mass smack dab in the middle of the room.

Then I saw it. In the room was this god damn huge canine, at first I had thought it was a husky maybe someone had let their pet into this estalishment even though the other people didn't seem to pay it no mind. Was I losing it on account of perhaps the stress over my first performance.

The huge wolf padded over to me step by step on it's canine ,paw. It was trotting over happily like it had just seen it's owner and was about to give them some welcome home licks.

"Hey there, I'm confidence your spirit guide and I've come to see the one and only Reinhardt Wiseman perform live and in concert. Normally, I'd be a lot more cryptic and shit so you'd have to figure out that I was trying to cpmmounicate with you, visit you in dreams and all that but right now we don't have the time for all that. " The female voice that seemed to be coming from the wolf said with great urgency in it's voice.

"Huh... come again...? You came here for me?" I stood there and I blinked once, maybe twice at how unbelievable this all sounded to me.

"I know humans are kinda dense, but didn't you hear me? You need to Escape Now" The voice said it seemed more like a command than a simple statement and there was a sense of urgency behind the voice.

"Holy Shit, you're a wolf and you can talk, wait your lips, maw isn't moving. So how the hell are you speaking to me? You're not going to eat me right? I mean I reallly really don't want to get eaten right now."

"Yeah, Yeah, I get it a mysterious voice, a huge wolf that only you can see... you're probably wondering if you're going insane, and you are a little bit but not in the way you're thinking. it's new to you I get it, but I'm not a bad wolf. I'm a part of you, Think of me as something like your survival instinct." Confidence said trying to feign happiness when she knew that the situation was dire.

"Trouble dear...?" Michelle Dauphine said in a concerned voice. "It's almost as if you've seen a ghost." she mused a concerned expression on her face.

"Something like that. You're right on the money, you've got some smart girls about you Rein." confidence said.

"It's... It's nothing. I'll deal with it. Afterall, it's not like something like this is going to get me down."

"You know I'd hate to say it but you've got a real cute girlfriend there, she might be in danger soon if the lot of you don't escape to the summoning circle." A summoning circle now I knew it was making shit up.. I didn't have enough time for this wolf's bullshit I had important people to meet after the performance I just gave.

"Honey, what's wrong it's not like you to stay this silent." Said Michelle. "We're still going to Juliana's to celebrate you getting book here regularly right. To celebrate your first regular gig since graduation?"

"Yeah sure honey, I'll be right there" I responded, if I was anyting I was... distracted...? Yeah that's a good word for it. The voice sounded like something I had heard in childhood one that I hadn't heard for a long time the voice of a good friend.

"Good job there my friend. It was an awesome performance and I'm glad I could come see it." Jacques had said rather shyly.

"I'm glad you had time in your busy schedule. I'm sure they want you back at the casino and I'm sure you had more important things to do then hear me play."

"What are you talking about?" Jacques said, "It's something that I wouldn't miss for the entire world."

"You did great! It was a wonderful performance there friend and I loved the way you played that last bit, the bit where the witch princess was reminescning there in the rose garden That has to be my favorite part." Monroe had said to me. "It was simply fantastic."

He said finally as if he had just made a declaration for the entire world to hear. I was shy weak and pathetic back then. All I could say was "thanks" meekly like the prey that I was.

"Hey there Tiger, or should I say wolf? You're playing was really good there something that I'm sure moved many people's hearts. You know there's some really important people here for you and when I say important I mean like SUUUUUUPPPPPPPEEEEERRR important." Melanie motioned me over to the VIP room over at the Heaven Rouge, this was mostly used for upstanding gentleman who could pay, or those people who were producers in the must indusry themselves.

There were three men there one older looking gentleman wearing a flashy golden looking outfit with spikey white blonde hair wearing an overly cheerey expression on his face and an air and charisma that said that he was the big dog in charge of the entire group. Next two him crossing their arms there was one african american bodyguard and one caucasian. They were huge much bigger than me even taller than my modest 6'2''.

"You play quite the mean violin there, I'm sure my daughter would love to hear you play she loves the violin in general. Have you ever heard the work of Yo-Yo Ma? She absolutely loves it although I'm sure that she would love the way you play. You play like it's no one elses business." the man in the golden suit said.

"I'm really not that great. Not really..." I told him I was shy back then. It was human and decidely un-wolf like. Looking at myself back then I can barely stomach myself.

"When you're on stage playing your music does the world just fade away, and momentarily I'm sure you become it's king. Let me tell you kid I can take you far. I can make you a star like no one has ever seen before.

Inside while I was having the meeting with the music label and it's producers wanting to sign me for my skill with the electric violin outside the end of the world was starting and the air was filled with fear, trepidation and anticipation.

Outside creatures were starting to march out of the portals to our world. The portals were vaguely diamond shaped in appearance and it looked like someone had torn at te fabric of reality and revealed what had lie beneath. The parts of reality that we weren't supposed to see.

"Holy Shit, that's so cool look at it, it's like we can see through to another reality. I must be watcing to many of those isekai anime if I'm seeing stuff like this in real life." Said a civilian child about fourteen years of age just on his way back from his local grocery store as he stood there dumb found by the rapidly opening portals.

"My heavens what is that? Heavens, I didn't think I would have ever seen something like that in all my years." Said one elderly woman looking like she was about to have a heart attack.

"Holy Shit, do you think we could get famous off filming this, certainly don't see things like this every day. I can't wait to get famous off of dewtube." Said a college frat-boy "Then I'll be able to buy all of the things I want and make all of the honeys crawl all over me." the same frat boy said in a hushed tone.

All of these people were waiting with baited breath what would eventually step out of the portals into this side of reality. Little did they know it was quite literally the armies of the damned. Well more damned than the armies of the damned. I've dealt with demons and devils in the past thousand years and most of them are quite nice at least that is compared to void creatures.

There were creatures that resembled foot soldiers with flesh dangling from them but they looked like pure skeletal warriors adorned with old fashioned armor and weaponry. These were surely what was left of the victims of the void creatures.

"Holy Shit are they fimling a movie, maybe I can actually be an extra, okay time for your big break" An caucasian male with designer shades and a well toned figure was saying as he watched. Must have thought the whole thing was special effects or something because otherwise he would have known to get the heck out of dodge.

"Those don't look like special effects to me, I think I would know, those things look fucking real as all get out. Hell, for all I know they are real." Said a film student looking through at the skeletons and spiders

The skeletal soldiers themselves were probably once brave warriors who fought against the void they thought with the same hive mind now, shared the same sickly red glows in their eyes, forever joining the void army their souls stripped of anything that made them them... and yet not without their intelligence as they came across the local bystanders they slaughtered them.

Yes, you heard me right they slaugtered them with the medieval weapons that they held and while one of them would have been no problem for even a normal man to crush into a fine powder breaking them until they couldn't respawn they not only held a certain paranormal resilience.

Then there were the void spiderlings a construct constructed from the remains of te spider sisters that maintained reality. They were all repurposed to instead eat away at the fabric, the web, the weave whatever you want to call it that holds all of reality together. For every twenty skeletal soldiers there was one huge offputting spider. They formed the groundtroops of the void army.

The spiders crawled all over the cities buildings just eating away at them and ramming them with their large bodies and four large limbs. There was a jewel encrusted in their forehead, sad to say that this is their only weak point. When they weren't causing property destruction they were eating civilians down below.

Soon the destruction outside in the city proper would be answered in the nightclub when one of the spiders burst through the wall accompanied soon by another two smaller ones. The spiders entered and then stared at the people who were attending the party. They were afterall the spiders' next meal.
