The night was cold and Zeke silently thanked his warm wolf blood as he stepped out of the Knowles compound and into the dark.
He was exhausted after his conversation with Hanna, not to mention hungry...he couldn't recall the last time he had eaten. But nevertheless it didn't matter, not while things were so muddled between him and Azia. He knew he wouldn't be able to rest or focus on anything else until he saw her and explained. If he could see and admit that he had been wrong in his interpretations regarding Azia and Finn in the woods, hopefully she could do the same regarding Zeke and Hanna. All Zeke could do was hope and force his legs to move faster as he traversed the woods, and the bustling city.
