Chapter 2 - Bring Her To Her Master

When the carriage stopped, an unfamiliar scenery appeared in my sight. It was in the middle of the forest, with the chilled air stabbing my skin. It's almost the winter season.

One of the men roughly grabbed my hand as he pulled me down from my seat. "Get down!"

It was obnoxious enough when his dirty hand came touching my neck. "Let's see, you had the slave necklace on you," He laughed mockingly, as he put his face closer to my ear.

His stink breath was touching my skin as he looked at me with his lewd eyes. Disgusting bastard!

"You are so beautiful, only if you don't have this scar, I bet a hundred fold you will become someone's mistress. It was better than a slave after all." He smirked.

Hah! This man thought I was a weak one, even though I had both of my hands chained to my feet, my head was still in use.

"Don't you dare touch me!" The headbutt was hard enough so he took a step back, whining on one of his eyes that I surely made it bruise. If only not because of this heavy chain, both of the men were already meeting their death!

"This bitch!"

He was about to slap me when the other man held him back. I didn't remember hearing what his name was, but he looked much weaker than his friend. His body was less bulkier, and he was short too.

"Todd, restrain yourself! It was the order from Keegan that she must remain untouched. Not even a single hair!"

Why in the hell a brother of Conrad bought me. I met Keegan several times in the past, but it was just a glimpse of a moment when he was walking with his brother. There's no business for him to acquire the sister of the new alpha as a slave.

After arguing some more, the man before called Todd was walking so fast, storming to my way. His big figure was sure to make other wolf cower. But I'm not.

He stopped directly on my face as he looked down on me. Not even a glimpse of fear I would show for a trash like him.

I know he was about to change into his wolf form, but if he did that, then he'd surely invite me to a direct challenge.

There's a hope on me for him to do that, so they could free me from these silver chains.

He smirked evilly before taking something from his pocket. It was a ring made out of bone with red stone, the same typical stone as on the steel collar necklace that was tightly hung on my neck right now.

"You bunch of cowards!" I know what the hell is that. Like a weakling wolf he was, he said the spell while holding the ring.

It was a spell to control the slaves. More than a hundred years ago, a slave necklace was being made by the witch. It was natural for a wolf to remember the spell.

When a slave was under the spell, they would feel the stabbing electric pain from the neck to their entire body.

And that's how I felt right now. It hurts. So much that I fell on the ground because of the shock.

"You moron! I told you to not act on your own!" The other guy said that, trying to take the ring from his friend.

"Stop it Ron! This bitch had to know her place!" He said pushing his friend away.

"Seriously! I'm not going to face the wrath of a Geargo."

"Calm down! No one would notice if you shut your mouth. Just Look at this bi.." A shocked expression was on his face as soon as he looked on my way. "What the hell."

I was finally able to make my body stand up. It still hurt, but this pain was nothing compared to the last training Gerald put for me. He was sure to want me to overcome any circumstance. All of that for his convenience.

Dragging my feet, I was biting my mouth so hard when walking towards both of the men.

They look in awe like a loon, wondering how I whistand the pain. "How?" Todd asked.

His friend Ron, took the ring away from Todd. "Give it back. I shouldn't trust you with this thing." He said the unrelease spell as soon as the ring was on his hand.

I fell to my knees when my body was finally freed from the electric pain. How stupid.

My brother was able to drug me while inviting me to dinner. It was a fool of me when I happily joined him. In ten years, I was busy with the mission from Gerald and didn't have time for my brother.

When Aibek invited me to have dinner together, I was on the cloud hearing that. Not to mention Gerald just passed away a couple of days before. It was a moment when I finally had my guard down, and didn't notice any drugs on my food.

Or better yet, I didn't want to notice it because the trust I put in my brother was unbelievably real. Ten years training with poison, I could still fall for the scheme.

The betrayal cut so deep when I woke up with this necklace on my neck. As an alpha, he could do anything to me.

Feeling my body weakened, Ron then helped me to stand up. Looking closer at his face, he sure looked like a middle aged wolf man. His dark eyes showed pity for me. "Come on girl, let's walk this way."

Ron took my chain as he made me walk following him, with Todd trailing on my back. We walked for minutes inside the forest until I was on the end of a cliff. I saw from afar, the big town with its castle standing so high.

Another carriage was waiting at the end of the road. "We're going to that city, another carriage was prepared." Ron let me enter the carriage. It was not a grand one, but at least it's a carriage for people, not for goods like before.

"I'm going to tell you this once," Ron said looking at me, "You can't have an attitude like that in front of our Alpha."

I laugh, "Are you kidding me?" I was so done with any of this.

Ron let out a heavy sigh, "Just mind your manners In front of any Geargo, especially Conrad Geargo."

I turned silent as he mentioned that name.
