the wolf and his milkmaid

{A week later}

It took a week, but we cleared out a few Providences. Even managed to visit and clean out Tokyo... Which was a fucking hassle. Sure the place looked great, but it was boring. The pack and I helped the military set up places for strongholds, and help survivors get to safety. I was officially bored of the apocalypse, and I just wanted something to happen. But it was during that time, I had an idea.

(I can start taking my girls out now. There's nothing else worth doing.) And I was right. I just had to bring it up and then go from there. I had an idea of where I wanted to take Shizuka, so I scoped out the area while everyone was asleep, and made sure nothing would get in our way. After triple checking the area, I was ready to take Shizuka out.

So the night before said date, I gathered the rest of my girlfriends, I asked Kiriko to distract Shizuka, and went to a roof out of her hearing range. "So, Silver. What's up? I'm not seeing Shizuka here, so this is about her right?" Thank you Rika.

"Yeah. I'm gonna start planning dates for you all, and I'm starting with Shizuka's. I'm taking her out to the skytree and I wanted to let you all know. That, and get ideas of where you'd want to go. I know Saeko wants to go to Mt. Fuji. But I don't know about you or Saya. So before I make plans, where would you two like to go?" Rika and Saya just stared at me, clearly not expecting this, and Saeko just gave me a genuine smile again.

I figured out why she did those a few days ago. A part of her still didn't think she deserved love, so being proven otherwise meant a lot to her. Rika was the first to break of of her stupor, and she smiled at me.

"Looks like we chose right. I don't care where you take me, I just want to have fun." Well that didn't give me much. I'd file it away for later sure, but I had no clue where to go with it.

"Britain. I want to see Big Ben. Maybe spend a day in Buckingham palace." I blinked. Turned to Saya. And blinked again.

"There's something about two extremes here." Saya rolled her eyes at that.

"It'd be interesting! We're going over to that side of the world anyway, so why shouldn't I have fun while we're there?" She had a point, sure, but still?

"I... Guess? I'll have to scope the place out after we get there, but I guess we could do that." She happily hummed at that, and I turned to Saeko. "Other then the mountain, anywhere you'd like to go Saeko?" Saeko just kept the smile on her face, and shook her head.

"You're already doing more then I deserve. I'll follow you wherever you go my lord." I sighed at that.

"I'll need to find something special for you then." After that, I looked back to the other girls. "So, I'll be with Shizuka most of the day tomorrow, then find a day for the rest of you. That good?" They all nodded, and I watched Saeko and Saya leave. Though Rika stayed behind.

"You didn't have to do this you know. You could've just kept fucking our brains out and just do what you've been doing."

"I know. I still wanted too though. Especially for Shizuka." Rika hummed at that, and came over to give me a hug. I hugged Rika back and just put my chin on her head.

"Thanks for that Silver. You're going to make her day more then you know."

"That's the goal." Rika and I hugged for a few more minutes, then broke it off. Rika was going to be busy tonight with helping clear out another area, so the only ones I'd be sleeping with would be Shizuka, Saeko and Saya. I watched Rika go, and went back to the others. It was time to sleep. Shizuka was none the wiser, and I had an actual plan.

{The next day}

I woke up as I usually did. Shizuka was laying on top of me, and Saeko and Saya were by my sides. Shizuka was starting to wake up, and I smiled when her eyes opened. "Morning mo grá." That was something new. Over the week, I started calling my girlfriends other things in the mornings, when it was just us, or during special moments. Shizuka's new one was my love, and she loved it. I didn't exactly WANT to play favorites, but it wasn't a secret I adored Shizuka the most.

Shizuka gave me the usual joy filled smile when I called her that, and leaned over to me for a kiss. I gave it to her, and a little more, which surprised her, but she accepted it none the less. We broke it off after a minute, and smiled at each other. "I've got something planned for today. Wear whatever you want, ok?" She just hummed, and smiled.

"Ok." And she went off to start her day. I looked over to Saeko and Saya, who woke up while Shizuka and I were kissing, and gave them kisses of their own. They both brightened up, and we went to start our day together.

After a shower, where there was more then just a little groping happening, we got ready, and Saya dragged Saeko away before she dropped more hints towards what I had planned for Shizuka. It was just me and Shizuka in the hotel room we claimed as ours, and I waited for her to finished getting ready. Saeko had dropped a hint for her to dress up, so she was doing just that.

Shizuka took some time, but after a half hour of waiting, she came out. And I almost lost it. She was in a virgin killer, some tight jeans, and heels. Her hair was down, and she had some really nice lipstick that accentuated how good her lips looked. She saw me staring, and smiled. "This is nice enough, right Silver?" I blinked for a bit, then brought myself back.

"Yeah. It's great mo grá." I was in my usual. The gray fur sweater I found in the airport, some baggy sweatpants I found in a store here, and those sandal things the Soul Reapers wore. I had a basket of food I made in my arms too. Shizuka started to hum happily, and I held my free hand out for her. She grabbed it in moments, and we started to make our way out. The hotel we were staying at was turned into a base for the military for their soldiers, any people they found, and for the pack. It had a good 20 floors, and it had more then enough space for us.

That aside, I kept walking with Shizuka, and making small talk as we did. Shizuka was guessing about where we were going, or what we were going to do, and she somehow hadn't figured out this was a date. (I'll just assume that's her airheaded nature instead of me just doing this badly.) We kept walking and talking, and when we got close to the skytree, I turned to Shizuka.

"Mo grá, do you trust me?" Shizuka responded the moment I finished talking.

"With my life." We smiled at each other, and I picked her up. She yelped in surprise, but that was all. She held onto me, and watched as I kicked us off the ground, and made aura platforms to keep kicking off of. Shizuka gasped at the sight, I hadn't shown the girls this yet since I was going to surprise them with it, and it was worth it. Shizuka's eyes gleamed with joy and wonder. That only brightened when I finally landed on top of the sky tree.

I set Shizuka down, and we sat on the edge of the building. Shizuka leaned into me as she looked around, taking the sight in. Now it might've taken away some of the beauty of the place, considering most areas were a little fucked up from the apocalypse, but it was still a view. A few minutes of that, and she put her head into the crook of my neck.

"Silver... This is amazing... Aha! It's a date!" She just seemed to get it, and I laughed at the look she gave me. Her eyes were full of joy and adoration, and I loved it.

"Yes mo grá, it's a date." The smile and look of pure happiness on her face was like the sun to me. Shizuka hugged me and I hugged her back as I leaned my head against hers. We just sat there, taking in the sight, while mostly ignoring the places that were fucked, and took in the others warmth.

"Silver." I looked at her, and she looked back. "I love you." I was pretty sure I'd already known, but actually hearing it was different. Hearing it was like I took crack, coffee and steroids, threw it into a cocktail, and downed it with vodka. My heart soared, and I had to resist the urge to howl in joy.

"I love you too mo grá." We took in each others affirmations, and we kissed. It was like the kiss she gave me after I told the story about my past as Muzaka. It wasn't carnal at all, it was just pure love. But different from before, I felt like I earned her love. Just a little bit mind you, but I still felt I earned some of it.

We held the kiss, and even after we broke it off a little later, we still held the other in our arms. Shizuka just took it all in, and I took in her love and warmth, and we spent an hour up there. Together basking in the others presence. It was a few minutes after that, Shizuka moved from my side onto my lap. She leaned into my chest, and I let my chin stay on her head as I wrapped my arms around her waist.

She mewled at the position, and I couldn't deny that it felt right. "Silver. Can we stay like this?" I hummed at that.

"Not for the whole day. But for now, yes. We can stay like this for now mo grá." Shizuka snuggled into me a bit more after that.

"Ok."

And so we did. We watched the clouds, listened to the mostly silent city, and just stayed that way. It was an hour later that we got hungry. I took an arm off of Shizuka's waist, much to her disappointment, and reached to the basket I brought. I had some sandwiches I made, and a bottle of scotch I found. It was harder for Shizuka to get drunk, so she could actually enjoy wine or alcohol for a bit now before she went crazy.

We ate together, and after we were done, we went back to our date. We didn't move or say much else. But after a while, Shizuka started to doze off in my arms, and I slowly rocked and let her drift off easier.

"Silver..."

"Yes mo grá?"

"You're... The best boy eeeveeer..."

I chuckled a little at that.

"Yes I am mo grá. Yes I am." Shizuka let out a happy hum, and drifted off to sleep with a smile on her face.

{Shizuka's general POV hours after the date}

Amazing.

That would be how I'd describe it.

The skytree was always a pretty sight, and going on TOP of it was even better. Now the city might not have been as pretty, but that was fine. It didn't even matter.

Silver was all that mattered. The two of us just there. Together. That was what I loved the most. I knew Silver loved me. I could tell when he said it, how he treated me, and how much we spoiled the other. That was genuine love, and the time we spent up there was the best I could ever ask for.

I doubted I was worried about not getting enough time with him, he was always there if I needed him, but today made sure of it. Even with the rest of the girls, Silver would still truly love us all.

He gave me the proof I didn't know I needed, and that was all that mattered.

Silver was the love of my life. And as I started to drift off again, laying on top of him as we all laid in bed, I couldn't stop from smiling as I looked at him.

This was the love of my life. From now until we died. Forever and always.

I leaned in, nuzzled him, and just melted into the kiss he gave me after I finished.

I went to sleep feeling like the happiest woman on earth. And after today, I probably was.

Because at the end of the day, I had the best boy in the entire multiverse. He loved me, I loved him, and that would NEVER change.
