CHAPTER 33

DARIO'S POV….

I blinked my eyes twice before finally able to open it, a throbbing pain on my head, my throat dry and itchy. I adjusted my eyes sideways and could tell I was not in a familiar environment. Not only that, but I could still feel sore around my chest and the last event came popping into my head. It was all Matt's fault, he knew exactly what he was doing but at the point, the spell backfired, the hunters brought a witch with them. I wasn't prepared, and that was my biggest mistake.

I jumped out of the bed, my wolf alarmed while I scan the room, I was stretching out my ears to the nearest sound within the environment trying to grasp a hint of where I was.

The room was designed with red bricks, there were cracks on the wall and I could tell It was an old building coupled with the torn and worn out sofa placed beside the wooden bed, the desk at the right corner of the room was worn and the design on it was now peeling off.
