{Is this all a sick dream of my mind?}
I couldn't believe that this is a reality, even if it was. I know this city. Furthermore, I know every building and every street as if I was here a lot of times before.
{Have I been with my father here before?}
I definitely was here at least once: I remember the road like someone was taking me out from here, and it was right after my father's death. Maybe, it was a dream as well? I was told a lot of times that my father died in a car accident somewhere, perhaps even on this road, so… Potentially, I remember how we were driving with him? But, what were we doing here?
I stopped my car near some building that looked like a good hotel to stay in, and looked around with amusement. It's unbelievable. I saw it in my dreams. I remember passing by it a lot of times.
"Miss," I heard someone talking behind my back, so I turned around and looked at a young girl in a black-white uniform. She smiled friendly at me, but I noticed her eyes changed to amber, like the eyes of that man on the road. I blinked because of the pain appearing in my eyes again, and lowered my look to her chest, where my sharp eyesight caught something like the same moon badge I had seen on that man's chest before. After a second of observing the badge, my eyesight turn to normal again, "Are you new here?" The girl asked, still smiling at me.
"Yes and no…" I replied and shrugged, "Seems like I was here before, but I can't remember it. The city is so similar to the one I saw in my dreams a dozen times…"
I bet I told her too much, but instead of looking at me like a mad woman, she smiled friendly and offered me her thin hand.
"Then, welcome home, Miss…"
I shook her hand and felt some strange warm feeling inside as if I really returned home and was waiting for a long time to be able to get back here. The inner feeling of Déjà vu was getting stronger every second I stayed in this city. I bet I'll get used to it until I find all the answers to my questions.
"Black," I shook her hand and looked back at my car, "Now I need to find a place where to live and a job."
"I can help you with both! You just arrived at the only hotel in this city, and it's a good one, so you will be comfortable staying here even for an unknown period! There's parking on the other side of the hotel, so your car will be safe here too. Wait, I will tell the manager you want to rent a room here," she quickly ran upstairs and got to the building through the glass door, while I looked over this part of the city again. I remember there was a big supermarket at the end of this street not far away from here and I liked to buy there some very tasty pastry. They were making it using some old local recipes. It also has an interesting name I can't remember for now…
"Here she is!" I heard voices and turned back to see the manager coming closer to me with the same girl. They were both smiling, and it made me smile too. People here are so friendly, as if they had known me for ages.
"Nice to meet you, Miss…"
"Black. Letty Black," I smiled and shook his hand.
"Marvin Kell, manager of this hotel and this is our hotel clerk, Mary. She will help you with a room, while I'll help you get acquainted with our hotel and find the parking." Mr. Kell kissed the back of my hand, then looked at Mary. "Go and find the perfect room for this young lady, while I'll settle everything here."
She bowed her head and went back. Likewise, she was visible behind the big glass door leading to the hotel and was calling someone using a landline phone standing at the reception desk. Mr. Kell smiled at me and pointed to my car.
"I'll guide you to the parking from here."
I nodded in silence, sat back in my car, started it, and looked at him. He slowly went across the building, and I followed him until he turned the corner and went through a big arch to the parking lot in the hotel's backyard. I slowly drove there and stopped at the parking lot he prepared for me. When I got out of the car, it was already a parlor chaperone with a cart ready for my baggage. I opened the trunk, and pointed to the baggage, so the guy started taking it out, and loading it all on the cart. I didn't have a lot of baggage, so after two minutes he was free. After he finished, I took my purse and a backpack, closed my car, and put the keys in my pocket.
"Let's go inside," Mr. Kell guided me to the front door while a parlor chaperone went through the back one with my baggage. We got to the glass door, it opened automatically, and we were inside. The hotel looked very modern: there were a lot of glass and metal constructions here, as well as furniture painted in a gray color to look like metal. We stopped near the reception desk, where the hotel clerk, Mary, gave me the key and documents she had already prepared.
"This is your key from room number thirteen. It's a single studio. We have only one studio here, and it has a balcony and a kitchen, it looks like a whole apartment. It's on the last floor and all yours."
"How much does it cost?" I asked and looked over a metal key with a moon on its trinket. The moon, huh? It's strange. It's already the third moon for today. Maybe it's a hint I can't understand for now.
"It costs three thousand per month," she said and looked at me, but before I could say it was too expensive, she smiled brightly, "And it would be cheaper if you will work here. The owner of the hotel has a nightclub, and he needs a new waitress there. Shift starts in an hour."
"That's totally a dream," I looked at Mr. Kell and nodded, "I agree to work in a nightclub and rent a studio."
"Nice!" He guided me to my studio, where my baggage was already waiting. Mr. Kell was so kind to help me to get my things inside the room. He stood straight and cleaned his perfect dark blue suit from the invisible dust, and my eyes caught a moving moon badge on his chest. A moon badge again. Mr. Kell put the badge back in its place, as if noticing my thorough look, and smiled at me. "If you have any questions or will have them later, feel free to ask me or Mary, we will help you as much as we can."
He left.

Aiden looked at his watch. He has one more free hour before he needs to go to the nightclub to keep the situation today in his hands. It's Friday, so there could be some problems with other guests. He can't forbid werewolves from other packs to come to his territory, because the nearest packs are of his two best friends, and he can't go against the rules they settled. Three years ago when he came to the Alpha throne they established some rules with the nearest packs and no one could break them, though… Those fights are getting annoying.
"Aiden," he heard his Beta's voice and took his eyes away from the documents. His Beta came to the office and put some envelopes on his table, "Victor sent money to pay for last Friday's fight."
"Have you already sent them to the nightclub? If not, I can do it," Aiden asked meaning he was going to the nightclub today, then moved the envelope closer, took it, and found a letter. He opened it and started reading.
"I did," William bowed his head and crossed his hands behind his back, watching over Aiden and waiting for any other orders. Aiden was completely calm in comparison to yesterday's behavior. He was in charge of his emotions and feelings today, like any other day, except yesterday. That redhead's appearance throw him out of the balance for some time, but for now, it's gone.
"Okay, fine," Aiden put the letter back in the envelope and then put it in one of the drawers on his table, "We need to settle a camp as the moonflower will show its glory soon. Moreover, this time I wanted to ask Mark and Victor to come to join us with their closest people. We have a topic for discussion."
"That's fine. Due to Chris's investigations, the moonflower will show its glory at the end of the next week, so we have work to do," William bowed his head, "The territory will be the same?"
"Yes," Aiden took one of the documents out of his drawers and put it closer to William, "This is the information about what we need and the exact amount. I'll talk with the guests on my own, you update our people later."
"Deal," William bowed his head and felt a vibration in his pockets. He took his phone out and read the information sent to him from Mr. Kell, "Mr. Kell wrote that your order was done and everything is going okay."
"Fine," Aiden looked at his watch again and returned to watching over the new documents he needed to sign or reject. There were many proposals from other packs to cooperate, exchange some goods, and expand the hunting territory. William understood his Alpha isn't going to tell what order he gave to Mr. Kell, so he went down to the kitchen.
I will post a few first chapters at once, then slowly one chapter a day. I hope you'll like it. Leave your comments and let me know what you think about my story. It's very important for me!
