A young girl, Letty Black, understands that the last thing she remembers is her father's death. Her childhood, teen years, first kiss, and first love are a tabula rasa. Her memories are gone, and no matter what she did and how many qualified doctors she had seen, there's no progress in getting her memories back except for strange dreams: an unknown city, a handsome blond man with magnificent blue-brown eyes, and... wolves...? What do all those dreams mean? Is she mad, or that's a hidden world under her nose?

I was standing near the bar waiting for Aiden, as he asked, and looking at Rick carefully cleaning his bar without skipping even an inch. I bet if someone would try to check for any dust in there after he's done, they would fail to find it even in the deepest corner. Rick was very concerned and due to his facial expression, he was doing the most important thing in the whole world. It made me smile. I have never been to nightclubs before, so I have never seen anyone cleaning every glass and bottle as if they were his own children. Rick caught my interested look very quickly, so he turned around to me to talk.

"I'm taking Aiden as an example. He's very meticulous when it comes to literary everythingโ€ฆ," Rick explained, then put the last glass back in its place, and started cleaning up all the trays. I looked around again, seeing neither Aiden nor his friends.

{Have they gone to walk around the club? Does mean they are looking for those guys who offended me?}

"Looking for Aiden?" I jumped from a question behind my back and quickly turned around to see the same man I saw sitting at the same table with Aiden. He was a tall man with tanned skin and a muscled body, thick curly blond hair, and dark brown eyes. I made a few steps back, closer to Rick, and looked over the man again. He had a gray shirt and black jeans with gray sneakers on himself, making him look like a "Gray Cardinal".

"And you?" I asked back without any intention to answer his question. Why would I tell such a piece of information to the unknown man? He grinned and bowed down as if I was some kind of Princess or Goddess, then smiled friendly, probably a bit amused by my hostile behavior.

"Victor Gray," he held me his hand, adding, "Aiden's best friend."

I took his hand, and before I was able to introduce myself, he kissed the top of my hand, then let it go.

"Letty Black," I said, seeing him narrowing his eyes when he heard my surname. What made him act like that? Was it something strange in my surname, or it was a reaction to something else that has no connection with me?

{Does he know my father?}

"Victor," we both turned to the left side, seeing Aiden coming downstairs with another man, whom I had seen sitting on the same table with Aiden previously. They both came closer to us. I could notice Aiden looking at his friend with a demand to explain what is he doing here.

{Is he jealous?}

"Just came here," he answered and shrugged, then looked at the other man, "Found anyone?"

"No," the hoarse voice of the third man made me look at him. He was as tall as his two friends, with brown hair and gray eyes, was slim and slightly pumped-up, dressed in a green T-shirt and dark blue jeans with green sneakers. Suddenly, he looked at me, bowed his head, and smiled, "Mark Smith, Aiden's other best friend."

"Nice to meet you all," I moved my look from him to Aiden. He looked over me as if checking am I looking good or am I alright, then took his hand out of his pocket and put a money wad on the bar just near my shoulder.

"You did a good job today, even more than you should." He looked at Rick as if blaming him for asking me to mop the floor where I almost fell down, then back at me, still holding his hand on the wad of money. I felt he was doing this specifically for me to see something very important.

"Thank you very much." I turned around and noticed a tattoo of a name with a heart on Aiden's left wrist, where previously were his watch. It took me a few seconds to understand it was my name! I opened my mouth to ask something, but Aiden took his hand away, put it back in his pocket, and turned to his friends as if asking me to shut up. So what I did.ย

"Thanks for coming. Unfortunately, we weren't able to find themโ€ฆ," his words attracted my attention, so I got into their conversation without being invited.

"Are you talking about that company who wanted to order me as a point of a menu?" I asked, seeing Aiden winced at my words as if they made him feel bad. I cleared my throat, continuing, "I can draw how they look like, so it would be easier to look for themโ€ฆ"

"You can draw?" Aiden's friend, Victor, asked me, and I shrugged.

"I studied drawing as a part of recovery therapy," I said innocently, without focusing on the "recovery therapy" word combination as if I haven't said it at all. Aiden looked at me with a sad expression on his face, but remained silent. I turned back to Rick, "Do you have a pencil and a sheet of paper?"

"There's no need to hurry," Aiden finally said, making me turn back to him, "You can draw them later and give me the drawing tomorrow on your shift that starts at 6 p.m."

"Fine," I nodded, then took the money, hide them in my purse, and looked around, seeing a girl who was looking like Marry, the hotel clerk, dancing near the DJ on the dance floor, which means I'm going home alone. I haven't remembered quite well the road from the hotel to the nightclub because I was flying in my dreams, but I still remember that it hasn't taken a lot of time for us to get here.

"You live in the hotel, right?" Aiden suddenly asked, as if remembering I'm still here. I nodded, looking at him while trying to remember the road to the hotel deep inside my head. It wasn't very easy, but I managed to remember a few clothes shops we have passed by while going to the nightclub. Aiden attracted my attention with a strange gesture of his hand. It was very quick for me to catch its meaning, but in a second I saw his fingers running through his blond hair, making it shine with different colors coming from the dance floor lights. It was adding some more charming aura to him, making my heart beat faster. He moved his blue-brown eyes at me, saying, "I can guide you to the hotel, butโ€ฆ"

We heard a crowd screaming somewhere from the dance floor, and it made all of us freeze. Then we saw a group of men running from the dance floor to the exit of the nightclub, when I suddenly saw the same pink T-shirt I saw on one of the guys from a company who offended me. I pointed at him, attracting the attention of Aiden and his friends standing near me.

"It's them!" I didn't need to indicate whom I mean, because Aiden understood me in a second. He showed with a wave of his head for his friends to run after the company, and then looked at me. I shook my head, interrupting him when he just opened his mouth to say something, "I'll find my way home, go get them."

"The hotel is two blocks away from here," he said before running to exit following his friends. I looked at Rick, meaning to say goodbye, when I saw him closing his bar and putting a black leather jacket on himself.

"If you want, I can help you find the way to the hotel. My apartment isn't far from thereโ€ฆ," he said, looking at me and waiting for my answer. I nodded, and we both went outside to the street, then straight to the hotel. Both of us keep silent, probably thinking about other important things. Rick stopped at the road in front of the hotel and looked at his watch, "That's the hotel. See you tomorrow, Letty!"

He went to the left side of the street without crossing the road, while I crossed it and entered the hotel. I saw another hotel clerk at the reception desk, but didn't stop to talk or ask anything. I just said where I'm going and who I am, then went upstairs to my apartment.

When I woke up at night, the moon from the opened curtains was playing on my face. It was hard to fall asleep, so I stood up, put the white bathrobe on, and went outside to the balcony to catch up on some fresh air. It always helped me to relax and then fall asleep, but this night was different.

When I got out to the balcony, something white on the other side of the street, just in front of my apartment, attracted my attention. I got closer to the railings and then looked around, I foundโ€ฆ a big white wolf sitting on the road and looking at my balconyโ€ฆ just straight at me.

I blinked several times.

{Is it real?}
