She accepted the clothes and nodded. "Okay, I appreciate it, Xavierre. Thanks."
An awkward silence lingered for a moment before he spoke up again. "Well, I'll let you get changed. I'll be outside if you need anything."
As she closed the door behind her, Seraphyne couldn't help but smile to herself. She realized that despite the unusual circumstances, Xavierre's actions were enough to prove his concern for her well-being, and it warmed her heart.
