Kieiran, the young Alpha, led a tough procession of a hundred fierce werewolf warriors through the treacherous road that wound its way toward Tasar City. Seraphyne had imparted to them a route that would allow them to infiltrate the fallen city without arousing the suspicions of the Werewolf Council.
The path before them was far from welcoming. It meandered unevenly, beset with odd-looking flora that seemed to defy nature's design, carnivorous beasts that lurked in the shadows, and hallucinogenic plants whose presence only served to heighten their sense of vulnerability.
