Seraphyne wanted to bring the little guy next door when he fell asleep. But the house looked empty. When Seraphyne asked her grandfather about it, he said, "The old general had a scheduled camp tour to other provinces while his son and grandson were busy with tasks in the military."
Seraphyne glanced at the sleeping child beside her. She thought, 'Should I open the results tonight?'
She got out of bed and walked to her drawer, where she kept the envelope that contained the DNA results between her and Keizu. 'Huh? Why is it gone?'
Seraphyne looked for the envelope all over the place, but she couldn't find it. 'Did I misplace the results? But that's impossible, I can't misremember it!'
Before she could look for it elsewhere, her phone rang. The loud ringtone could awaken Keizu, so she ran forward and answered the call as fast as possible. "Hello? How may I help you?"
