Something Fishy?

After Austin and the rest of his wives left, the group of four: Asagi, Stella, Ava and Eve.

They were the group who would face Teutates, the Wraith King or better known as the Corpse Lord.

He looked at the group of four women in front of him with indifference before suddenly, he dashed at them with incredible speed.

BAM!

BOOOOOOOM!!!

Once he reached them, he slashed vertically at them, making his sword create a crescent shape attack that aimed at slicing the women in half.

But fortunately, they managed to dodge by going out of the way of the attack. Luckily, it was a straight way attack but it split the ground in two, making a deep slash on it.

It seems that the enemy isn't joking or weak after all.

The four women had a serious expressions before Asagi with swift and fast movement, sent a kick to Teutates's chest, sending him back away from them, but he adjusted himself on the air and landed on the ground slowly and looked at them with the same indifferent gaze, it was as if he didn't feel anything from the attack at all.

"Guys, we need to make a plan or else, he will turn us into slices or worse, make us into one of his undead soldiers." Asagi said, making the other three look disgusted when they heard the last thing she said.

Be one of his undead soldier?

No fucking way.

The aura around the three women became suddenly dangerous and emitted a strong killing intent, making Asagi look at them in surprise before suddenly Stella with her sword moved in lightning speed and reached Teutates in a second before making a diagonal slash from the bottom-left to the right-shoulder, which he blocked with his sword, but due to the attack being heavy as Stella infused it with mana, it sent him back.

He landed back again on his feet and wanted to attack this time, but then he felt his instincts screaming before moving his body down dodging a horizontal slash that aimed at cutting his head by Asagi's katana.

'These two women are dangerous, especially the woman named Asagi who my master wanted, her movements are so swift and precise and that pink haired woman too, her attacks are heavy but manageable.'

Sella, Asagi and Teutates exchange attacks aimed at the vital points of each other's body which they dodged with their foot-work.

Teutates fought both Asagi and Stella forgetting that the group was consisting of four not two.

Both Ava and Eve looked at the fight with observant eyes, noticing every movement that that disgusting man did. They hated to admit it, but he was proficient in the way of sword.

But that didn't matter at the moment. Their enemy is in front of them and they only need to get ride of him before going to help their sisters.

So with that in mind, both women surrounded their fists and feet with golden mana before also dashing and joining the battle.

Now it became 4 Vs. 1

In meantime, Austin and his wives already reached inside the castle and entered.

And it was empty from inside, so vast and wide yet empty. There were no bedrooms, living rooms or even bathrooms, nothing was there, only empty spaces.

The castle design was not like any normal castle, it was divided into several levels, exactly 10 levels.

Those levels represent an arena, each one had a different design than the other, some were circular and some were rectangular. Also, there were those with special design as well that represented different environment.

The last level, which was the 10th level, was a wide and vast hall, representing the throne room where Edwen was and waiting for his present to be here.

He knew that Asagi wouldn't come alone and there was something or someone powerful helping her from behind and that person wasn't from the Anti-demon association or from this world from the beginning, he even knew that this person discovered that Nomad Corp was just a front for the true thing.

Although wasn't there, but knew that one of his assassins was being tracked by a tracking spell.

And yes, a spell because he knew about magic and spells, not from some witches he kidnapped or something as their knowledge in that area wasn't high, but from another place, another source.

Each level was being guarded by one of the nine lords, from the lowest level being guarded by the weakest of the nine lords and the highest guarded by the strongest.

Except for Teutates who was guarding the entrance, the other eight were divided in the next order from the weakest to the strongest: Ice Lord - Dark Lord -  Phantom Lord - War Lord - Wise Lord - Night Lord - Blood Lord - Flame Lord.

This is the order of the eight lords.

And now, Austin and his wives reached the first level which was guarded by the Ice Lord.

The first level was a circular arena that was wide and vast for a battle to take place in it.

The Ice Lord was standing in the middle in the arena with cold expression and frosty aura around him, the air around him was cold that if anyone was to stand beside him would feel like being in the north pole or Alaska.

He was a man with snow white hair and clear blue and snowy eyes with pupils that seemed like slits.

His ears were pointy like elves and his skin was snowy blue.

He was from a special species of the demon race that controlled ice called Ice Demonic Elves.

Without needing their husband to say anything, the group responsible for fighting the Ice Lord came forward and stood in front of him with few meters separating them.

The group was: Roxanne, Luise, Ruby and Judy.

Austin took his wives and teleported to the door leading to the next level while leaving the group to face the Ice Lord freely.

But there was something that caught Austin's attention.

'The Ice Lord didn't prevent us from leaving or even tried to stop us, as if intentionally let us go. Is it an order from Edwen or did it on his own accord?'

'I smell something fishy here.' He narrowed his eyes as he looked back the Ice Lord how gave them his back while looking at his opponents.

He didn't wait, and immediately went ahead but his mind was buzzing with a feeling that there was something wrong here or fishy but he couldn't get his hand on it.

So, he decided to observe more to know what was that feeling?
