Reaching the royal palace

We finally reached the royal palace and the guards who are guarding the gates to the royal palace greeted us or their princess before letting us go inside .

" so this is the royal palace "

" Yeah , it's beautiful right ? " she muttered with a proud look on her face. 

I got out of the carriage after the princess and look at the royal palace and it was beautiful and breathtaking with these flowers scattering around it in an elegant manner .

" Yeah , it's beautiful and relaxing "

" Come on , let's go greet my father "

I nodded and went behind her toward the room where the king of this kingdom is in .

After 5 minutes of walking we finally reached the throne room that was vast and wide with marble pillars and golden-white walls along with the typical red carpet in the middle leading to the throne of the king. 

" Father , I'm here ! " said Stella with a happy face as she seems missed her father . Well I can't blame her , she was about to die if I didn't interfere and save her or she wouldn't see her father .

The king when he saw his precious daughter his worried face turned into a warm face with a smile as he sighed in relief when he saw his daughter again. 

" Stella , you finally back ! I was so worried about you , you know even your mother was about to cry when we heard about the monsters attack "

" I'm so sorry father , if I just had listened to you something like this wouldn't have happened " Stella said with sadness and regret on her face .

" What happened had happened, no need to think about it , the most important thing is that you are safe and sound "

" Then what about the soldiers who died ! "

" Don't worry , we will compensate their families as much as we can and provide the most means of comfort to them "

Stella sighed in relief when she heard that " Thank you so much father "

" Anything , for my little daughter "

Then the king looked at me " Who is he , Stella ? "

Stella seemed to remember that I was here so she looked at me with an apologetic face .

" He is the one who saved me from the monsters attack "

" Oh ! Thank you for saving my daughter young man " the king said as he bowed his head slightly at me .

Likely there was no one here except us or it will make the king look weak in front of them as he bowed his head to an unknown man .

" You don't need to bow your head to me , King of Ainzberg, it was a coincidence that I was walking on the way leading the capital that I saw the monsters attacking your daughter "

" Hahahahahah! What a fine young man , seems my daughter was lucky in meeting you , maybe it's fate "

Stella blushed as she knew what he meant by these words.

I smiled at her making her face redder while the king laughed again at his daughter who didn't oppose to his words.

" Well , I'm happy to meet her "

" Good good . Oh I forgot to introduce myself to you , my name is Raymond Ainzberg, the king of Ainzberg kingdom. "

" My name is Austin Moore , and I came here from a very far kingdom"

" Well , but if you wanna be with her you need to have a high social status "

"Then how can I have a status like that "

" By achievements "

" Then would killing a dragon be considered as an achievement ? "

" Of course, if you manged to kill it somehow then it will be good enough to make you at least a Marquis and if you made additional achievements then you will be promoted to a Duke , but a Marquis is hight enough to marry Stella "

" Okay, thank you for your help , King Raymond "

" Hahahahaha you can call me father-in-law young Austin , you will marry my daughter after all , and also you can have multiple women as your wives if you want as long as you don't ignore Stella or my kingdom will hunt you down even in hell "

" Don't worry, I'm a man who loves his wives dearly and  be with them all the time so you can rest assured "

" Then , I'm counting on that "

After that I and Stella went to the room where her mother is as the king said that her mother wanted to see her right away.

We reached the room and Stella knocked on the door twice .

" Mother , it's me Stella "

" Stella ! Come in come in , I wanna see you so much "

Then Stella opened the door and we entered.

When I entered I saw a woman sitting on the bed with a blanket covering her whole legs .

She was wearing a simple white gown , she has pink hair like Stella but shorter than her and curly along with two earrings , her eyes were brown and her skin was fair and white and with gentle yet motherly face she became a beautiful stunning mother .

Oh I forgot to tell you , the king was tall but still shorter than me , he has silver hair and silver eyes and with well physic suitable for a warrior.

" Come here dear ~ I missed you so much . The monsters attack made my heart nearly stop . "

Stella went to her mother and hugged her " I'm sorry mother , my stubbornness led me to this tough situation"

" No need my dear , I'm happy you're safe and that's enough for me , as long as you learn from your mistakes then it's good . "

" Yes mother , I will learn from my mistakes so I don't cause someone to lose his life because of me " Stella said with determination.

" That's good dear , that's good "

Then they hugged like that for some time while I was standing there leaning on the wall beside the door so I don't disturb their moment.

After they broke their hug , the mother patted Stella's head and looked at me .

" Dear , who is that young man you came with ? "

" Oh him , he is .... "
