Jack's life was one of hatred and discontent, his parents treated him like an animal and even gave him the name of one. Due to a rare mutation in his original world that would slightly alter their appearance and DNA. In his case, he had sharper canines enhanced vision and yellow eyes. It wasn't completely bad but it did come with an extremely common side effect for anyone who obtained this mutation. And that was the slow destruction of their body.

Jack hated the way his parents treated him. How they raised his older brother to look down on him and treat him the same way they did. It was because of this that Jack started to bottle his feelings and be less and less outgoing. And it didn't help that his older brother was ruining his social life as well. But even through that, Jack still tried to have a somewhat normal life.

Even though he hated his name he didn't disown it altogether, deciding to simply shorten it instead. While he could simply give himself a new name, Jack thought that he should have a reminder of where he came from and how far he's come, this isn't to say that he would continue to keep this name for the rest of his life but he would keep it until he was ready to start anew.

During his life, Jack had started to get into a couple of relationships. However, he could never keep them as he was so used to being hated by others that creating an honest bond with anyone was difficult.

As he got older he became quieter and quieter he, for the lack of a better term, was losing himself. He found it harder and harder to enjoy things as well as care for what happened to him, this isn't to say that he'd willingly put himself in danger, but just wouldn't really care for the consequences of already being in danger.

This was the kind of mental state he was in. A very unhealthy one.

He found solace in watching people, and seeing how they would react to things. He found his little happiness in others. Whether they were receiving good or bad news, talking about something with their friends or even getting into disagreements. This is why he enjoyed the company of his coworkers and the joy that they experienced in their life, especially the one that talked about something called `manga`.

He wasn't aware of it nor did he really care but to see someone so ecstatic to talk about something that they'd gotten into, was interesting. He couldn't remember the last time he felt like that, that was until he reincarnated.

For a reason unknown to him, his mindest was that of his earlier years, a bit unstable, vengeful and easily angered. While he hated this version of him he also enjoyed the feeling of well, feelings again. He found himself enjoying this new life while also condemning it since he held all his memories. And it was because of this that his mental state was in complete disarray since he had two completely opposite mentalities. He didn't know how he was going to cope in the future but as of right now he was doing fine.

As he returned from the cemetery, where his twin brother was buried. He remembered that he had to tutor Perla. Jack didn't tutor her for any other reason than he could. Even if he didn't really care too much about her, the fact remains that she was his sister and with his superior knowledge he was going to give her the best start in life possible. Well, as superior as it could be considered with it being from a few hundred into the future. Impressive for the time being.

Perla on the other hand was scared. While she appreciated her brother's efforts he could get a little much. And while she doubted that her brother would actually hurt her, she was sure that he would if she started to lag heavily behind others. And as her brother says, `fear is the best teacher`.

Jack, on the other hand, would never actually hurt his sister. He knew that it was a little bit cruel for him to scare her with the thought of pain.

Jack's tutoring usually lasted for 3 hours, he needed to make sure she understood everything, if he thought that she was doing well then he either let her have a short break or end early, depending on how well she was understanding the material he was teaching her.

Most of his free time was studying other biblical works and trying to figure out how the `stone arrow` worked. He wasn't really getting anywhere with the arrow but did notice that when he thought hard about the man that gave it to him while it was in his hand, it would spin before locking into one place, pointing in a direction. If what the man was saying was true then the arrow was pointing towards him.

A few weeks before he was set to go to a seminary, a now fifteen-year-old Jack was helping with cleaning the charnel as usual; he'd just started to clean the Fathers seat in the Confessional when he heard a voice come from the other side of the box.

"Father, please listen to my plea. I beg you...I have a confession." A feminine voice said.

Enrico was a bit shocked as he hadn't expected anyone to use the confessional yet. He was trying to tell the woman that he would call a father over but before he could she continued. Jack quickly surmised that whatever she was keeping to herself she wanted to be rid of it, after all, to someone who is confessing, it might not even matter who they are doing it to, they just want to tell someone, to tell their painful secrets too, they just want to talk to someone.

"Sixteen years ago, on June fifth, I swapped my dead newborn, with someone else's child. They were twin babies, I exchanged them while the people in the hospital weren't looking."

Jack was shocked by what he was listening to but calmed himself and let the woman continue, he would make his decision based on what she said next.

"I feel terrible whenever I think about his real parents. But I didn't want to believe it. I kept on trying to deny that my real child was lost to me. But I raised that child to the best of my ability. He grew up to become a fine young man. I was happy."

Jack continued to listen, once she finished telling her story he would decide her fate.

"But, If I'm dying now...should I tell him that he has a brother? But then, if I tell him, that would mean I lose my son...I can't tell him, that's why I'm in so much pain." The woman finished her story, making Jack feel conflicted, he didn't know how to react.

Taking in a deep breath to calm himself, Jack asked her if she knew who the child's real parents are.

"A couple named `Pucci`. They live in a large mansion, in the town next to mine."

Jack thought for a bit about what he should do with this woman.

As she left the charnel, Jack looked on, he wondered if he made the right choice or not but decided to not think about it, fate would tell him if he did.

As the coming days came to an end Jack was getting ready to go to a seminary, a school where young boys and girls could study to become priests.

He wasn't too sure why he was going, something was calling him, he felt as if this was an instance of the `gravity` that that man talked about. He would have to go there to find out whether he was just imagining things or if `gravity` really was playing a part in it.

Setting Perla a booklet of work to go over while he was away, saying his goodbyes Jack felt their family mansion in a taxi. He wondered about what he would find at the seminary and what the future held in store for him.
