JANN'S DEATH

Walking unsteadily like she was going to fall, Sara fall to her knees right next to Jann as she cried tirelessly and everyone stood saddened over her emotional actions.

"Hold yourself together dear.

Everything will be fine."Mrs Judith consoled her daughter.

Maybe she shouldn't have. Sara wasn't in her usual senses. -Right then she was more like an injured angry tiger, she could do anything unbelievable since she didn't care anymore..

She was right! Her family was partly responsible for Jann's death.

Had they accepted him right from the beginning, all that would never have happened.

They all would have fought together as one family and maybe the enemy wouldn't have defeated Jann.

"Stay away from me ma'am.

The last thing I want now is someone showing fake concern and sympathy for me.... so please let me be."Sara wasn't in a right state to realize that she was talking to her mother with a cold tone.

Was it intentional or something?

Mrs Judith hoped her daughter didn't mean whatever she just said.

But it looked like Sara meant everything she said because she didn't keep mum, instead she spoke her sorrow out.

"I've seen how helpful you people can be.

I trusted y'all so much cos you're my only family little did I know that I'll lose everything because of you.

I told you countless times that I love this man but no one supported my decision except sister Aurora and Araxie.

The two of them helped me as much as they possibly could but the rest of you... you made it impossible for me to be with the love of my life no matter how hard the two of us proved our love for each other.

So, henceforth I don't share any relationship with you.

You must be celebrating inside, aren't you? After all your so called enemy is no more. This calls for a yearly celebration, right Mother? Oops! Somebody must keep reminding me that I don't share any ties with you.

The thread of love between us is broken.

Despite him having so much powers and the ability to read minds, he never felt the need to read Jann's mind.

Who knows....he could have realized that he wasn't chasing his wife Araxie but he was in love with me.

Had he done that in time, there would never have been these misunderstandings.

Why am I even telling you all this when I'm pretty sure that you won't help me.

Sara may have said all that in anger but she was right.

Speaking to her elders like that was right, especially her mother but whatever she said was absolutely true.

They all had decided to leave when Araxie chose to intervene and tell everyone the whole truth about Jann and her friend Sara.

She believed that they'd provide a solution once they got to know that Jann had already marked and claimed Sara and maybe that's why she was acting so strange to them.

At the moment the pain of losing her beloved husband in such a way had won over her love for her family.

Her anger was justifiable and it was obvious that her whole family played a huge role in snatching the love of her life from her.

"I can't believe my daughter has disowned me today.

How was I at fault.

I remember I told her the genuine reason behind my refusal, didn't I? Then why did she hate me for it.

Why can't she understand that she's hurting herself by breaking ties with us.

Jann is no more....why can't she understand.

There are good men everywhere and it won't take long for me to arrange a better suitor for her if she asks me to.

I wonder if she'd ever forget about this vampire and move on."Judith was worried just like any other Mother would.

The pain of seeing her daughter crying pools and pools of tears felt like an arrow piercing through her heart.

"You're right ma'am. Sara would never forget about this man nor would she ever move on because...."Araxie said and paused a bit. She wanted everyone to get ready to receive the truth.

Now everyone's attention was on her, some were staring at her lips as they waited for what she had to say.

"Because Sara is already marked as Jann's soulmate.

Which means she'd never love anyone no matter what.

She belongs to Jann already and nothing can change that.

I'm sorry I didn't stop her because I thought she was doing the right thing since you all were against her relationship with Jann.

I'm not blaming you but you were wrong.

I was like you in the beginning but one day I risked my life and read Jann's mind and that's when I realized the truth.

I saw how he loved Sara with all his heart and soul.

The most amazing part was that he was ready to give up anything just to be a part of Sara's life but what did you do,... you refused and turned him proposal down before he could prove to you that he was indeed in love with her.

You must accept that you made a grave mistake and what Sara said a while ago...it was only the truth..

And...."Araxie was busy talking when Judith placed her hand over her mouth stopping her from saying anything else.

Perhaps she had realized her mistake.

"Thank you so much Araxie.

Today you've proved to me that you are more like a sister to my daughters.

You silently supported Sara behind my back.

I'm not angry with you anyway.

I'm proud of you instead. I can't believe I was blinded by my hatred for vampires that I neglected my daughter's happiness in the process.

You've done your part as a friend and a sister, o think it's now my turn to act as a mother and rectify all my mistakes.

I hope there's a way I could bring Jann to life.

How can I bring him from the dead."

Wait, did Mrs Judith change her mind suddenly.

Aurora hoped she wasn't acting for she still remembered how her mother scolded her just because she joked she would marry a vampire.

"There's a way Mother in-law.

We can revive Jann."Trion who just returned to the scene after he left without telling anyone, spoke from behind.

"Are you sure son?"Tia asked.

"Yes mother. I'm from finding out what happened to Jann and I've seen that he was beaten up and killed by the ghost of his girlfriend from his past.

The girl wanted him to make her his but Jann couldn't so the girl's died and her ghost returned to take revenge on him.

That ghost is responsible for what happened to Sara in the morning too.

It wanted to take away Jann's powers and by that time Sara was with those powers so she forced Jann to summon them and so he did but later he realized he was making a mistake then he sent them back to Sara and that's when the ghost showed him no mercy anymore hence it killed him.

And this means we can bring him back. All we have to do is to give his powers back.

And only Sara can grant him another chance to live.

But right now... she doesn't like or trust us. How will we help her."

"She might be very angry with all of us but we're still her family.

I know she said that because she's feeling very lonely right now but she'll surely calm down and reason with us."Judith said while she wiped down her tears.
