25. Should she be presented to their world, or not?

"Then the Flower it is. I officially gift you my Flower." He ignored General Wang's stunned expression. The Emperor smiled brightly while looking at the plate with cookies. "I'm done with dinner can I eat sweets now?"

Li Na nodded. "Eat only one now."

He smiled as he saw everyone taking only one cookie and drinking tea with it. "Tea?"

Li Na nodded. "Cookies go either with milk or with tea." She nibbled on one cookie and drunk a bit of tea.

As he tasted it, the unusual taste hit his tongue and the aftertaste was amazing. With shiny eyes, he stared at her. "What kind of tea is this?"

"I call it health tea. It is good for the blood and circulation. I have another for memory. Then I have one more for the insides and one for bones. Do you wanna take some of it with you?" She blinked at him with a big smile.

He winked. "I don't mind."

While he was enjoying tea and cookies, he looked at the child. Cuteness overload. Pink dress, adorable face with big eyes, small nose, mouth and two dimples. The pure black hair shone almost blue and inside the two buns had pins with shiny butterflies.

How cute! But whose child is it? Li? He knew one person with the Li surname a long time ago, but she disappeared. Wait, didn't she have a daughter? Is it her granddaughter?

"Is your grandmother Li Sunmi?" He curiously looked at her.

Li Na shook her head. "No. Sorry."

She didn't explain any further. But Lee Meili smiled. "This child belongs to one of my cousins. They are having some trouble now and let her stay with us. But we hope to let her be here happily. Outsiders might be bothersome for this little butterfly. So we won't speak about it to anyone."

The Emperor understood her words but shook his head. "It's better if you announce her being here. If people find out later on about her, it will be even more bothersome. If her family members are in trouble, just find her proper Godparents, so no one will ever look down on her."

General Wang pursed his lips. "Among people I know, not even one is good enough. Old General Beilu was the only one I trusted, but he left the capital with his family. Should I do the same? The Emperor couldn't believe his eyes and ears. "He really is led by the girl. This famously stubborn man just accepted what she said."

Wang Weiming rolled his eyes. "What should I do? Yell at her and scare her to death? She is not one of my soldiers."

Everyone nodded and glanced at the Emperor with disapprovement. But out of respect, they didn't say anything, making him feel even bigger pressure.

As he looked at the sleepy child he smiled. "I remember. You said you like herbs?"

Suddenly Li Na became wide awake. With her big eyes, she looked at him. "Yes?"

"In ten days there will be a gathering of doctors and healers in the capital. They exchange herbs from far lands and knowledge. If you are interested in herbs, what do you think about becoming a healer? Our land is open-minded and we do not make trouble for female physicians. Isn't it better than cooking?"
