The first trick

"Mom, she serves coffee in my favourite croissant shop," the little girl reminded her mother.

"Oh yes, and I saw in a video too, you were hitting a man," the lady added. Inaya sat with a smile pasted on her face. "What happened to him?" She was curious to know about it.

"Families are dealing with it with the court inference and trail. I do not know in detail. I just finished my detention. That is all," Inaya said the answer in short to end the conversation.

"You are still young to live alone. Where are your parents?" She asked Inaya questions again and again.

"I do not have anyone," Inaya said this also with a smile. She was slowly getting used to this.

"Okay." Lady stopped. "My name is Prema," she introduced herself. You can call me by my name. I prefer that," she added.

"Oh cool. I'm Inaya," Inaya introduced herself and shook hands. "Regarding the renovation," Inaya began but was cut off in the beginning itself.

"We will do the plumbing and sink work, and paint too. Cannot do anything else," Prema said instantly.

"But the curtains are much needed. Necessary," Inaya tried to bargain.

"No. Inaya if I do everything as everyone ask, then where is my profit? No one is ready to pay the rent properly either. So you can what you like, and take it back with you when you move. All I can do now are these two things. I can promise that," Prema said strongly. Inaya's body felt that electric feel again. Inaya looked her eyes with the lady.

"Is this final? Can you not get curtains? Can you?" Inaya asked. The lady staring into her eyes said something surprising.

"I will do for you," she agreed suddenly. They eye contact remained.

"Hiw about repairing some furniture too?" The coat, the table, if possible, sofa?" Inaya asked for more. She actually grew excited. 'Am I really doing this?"

"Yes, I can do that too. I will give it to you as a brand new house?"Prema agreed.

"That's great," the broker said, feeling happy. "Why don't we sign the agreement then?"

"Why not?" Inaya supported it.

"Sure, why not?" Prema said picking up the pen. She looked around and at her daughter.

"I will do one thing. I will keep the document with me then," Prema said.

"Give me a copy of it too. I should have one right?" Inaya said and got up. "Mind if I read through it?" Inaya asked the broker.

"Go ahead," broker handed it over to her. Inaya made slight changes to the clause of renovations. She had an evil smile on her face this time.

"All right. That's it," Inaya prepared to sign. She signed it, not wasting another minute and handed it to Prema. Without even reading through it, the lady signed it.

Inaya felt over the top.

"You can move in, in the first of the coming month," the lady informed her. "Everything will be ready by then," she shook hands with Inaya again. Inaya picked her bag and began to leave.

"Mom why did you agree to renovate everything?" The little girl asked her mother who had now come to back to her senses.

"I did?" Prema was surprised.

"Yeah. You promised to buy curtains ans furniture," little girl made her mother revisit her decision.

"I did????" Prema was shocked. "Why did I agree to it? This girl is so charming. She just had to request and I said yes to all," Prema could not believe what just took place.

Inaya had left already with the broker.

"What kind of magic was that?" The broker asked.

Inaya slowed down and began to sweat, "What?" She pretended not to have heard of it.

"The magic," he repeated again. Inaya remained silent.

'Did he watch it? Saw it? How? He is a human, how can he see it?' Inaya argued inside her head.

"She said OK to everything the moment you asked. You guys must have developed an interesting mental connection," the broker went on. "I'm happy anyway. Get ready to pay the commission within this week girl," the broker said and took an another path that leads to home.

Inaya exhaled in relief and smiled. "Yeah. Maybe she wanted to help," Inaya put up an act. "Bye uncle, see you later," the broker waved and left. Inaya looked around and hurried soon.

"What did just happen? Did I really do that? Did I really mess with Prema's head? Oh my god!" Inaya laughed. Her excitement was on top. She thoroughly lived it. "That is so wicked," she walked happily ignoring her phone calls. She hummed to an old poetry she used to recite back in her village. Inaya walked into the cafe and looked for Jiya. "Had she gone?" Inaya asked.

"Officer Yan was looking for you, he took Jiya and went in search for," a part timer informed her.

Why is Johan looking for Inaya?
