129 Unbelievable

Bryce's brain was about to explode. He needed to sit down. He collapsed into the closest chair and rubbed his temples. "None of this makes any sense. The only person I could have possibly had this kid with is Tessa O'Brien but she's dead. What does the FBI have to do with anything?"

"…my sister was in the Witness Protection Program. I don't know many details because she doesn't like to talk about it but she was gone for almost four and a half years and came back with Wesley, refusing to talk about his father."

"The Witness Protection Program?!"

He had only ever heard of that in the context of crime shows before. There was no way someone he knew—someone he had been in love with—was a part of it. Could the FBI convincingly fake a body? 

Why would Jennifer/Jenna be so horrified to see him if she had been the one to run away? What about Michael Bryce? This didn't explain anything. If Peter didn't know many details, he wouldn't be any help either.
