Michelle walked around and set the table, as she had just finished making breakfast. She usually never did this since she's used to eating with a large group of people, so eating alone would feel weird....but today is different as she had guest who slept over.

Well her guest who were now making there way downstairs after taking a shower....Mieko and Mikasa
Why are they here? Well after yesterday's confusion, Carla dragged Eren home not before giving Michelle one last complicated glance before she took Mieko and Mikasa home, to her happily smiling husband

But before Michelle could drive off, she over heard an argument and going by the shock and distress on Mikasa's face it was most likely the first time it's ever happened to the family, that she knew of I mean. From what she could clearly hear, her husband didn't find a problem with selling out ' some stranger they met recently ' compared to keeping his family safe
Michelle found herself agreeing with him as he was right but telling it to your enraged woman who cares dearly for said stranger...not the best of ideas. I'm sure he'll have another reason to visit the doctor

Was she sad that she caused a once loving couple to argue? Nope, not one fuck was given, she even enjoyed comforting the duo on the drive back to her place, after a warm shower, then after that delicious meal, then when cuddling in bed. You get the picture
' all in the day's work ' thought Michelle with a grin before she flashed a smile at the duo who gave one I'm return before they sat down and the trio started eating.
" I don't think I'll ever get used to how delicious your food is " praised Mieko as she hurriedly ate while trying to maintain some form of ladylike manner unlike Mikasa who was forking it down much to her amusement
" what's on today's agenda? " asked Mieko as she rubbed her bulged stomach, Michelle didn't bother to raise her head from cleaning the dishes, much to Mieko's frustration as she stopped her from doing them
" well today I was going to sell what produce I already harvested to start my plan but after you decided to start training I decided to let you gain first hand experience with Titans " explained Michelle as she put away the dishes
" but don't we already watch you kill Titans? " asked Mikasa after she jumped on Michelle's back on laid her head in her neck
" but that's usually from a distance, today I want you to get face to face with a Titan, though it'll be completely injured but still " explained Michelle as the room fell into silence as a grim atmosphere ensued
" is this a test ? " asked Mieko as she bit her lips which received a confused brow raise from Michelle
" is this a test to see if I have to determination to fight against impossible odds even at the cost of my life, because I'll do it, no matter how difficult the task I'll overcome them all " explained Mieko seriously as her body overflowed with enthusiasm as she met Michelle's gaze
" Pft, hahahahaha " Michelle broke down laughing much to Mikasa's confusion and Mieko's growing anger
" what's so funny " demanded Mieko as she looked at Michelle with a slight blush adorning her face as it took a lot of determination to say that and what she received was laughter in return
" I'm sorry, I'm not laughing at your determination, I just found your cluelessness cute " said Michelle with a smile as she pulled Mikasa off her back and put her on her lap as she took a seat, patting her hair much to the girls delight as she curled up
" what do you mean ? " asked Mieko with a frown as she was truly confused
" every time you come to my house you're risking your life " explained Michelle with a slight smile as her eyes glowed sliver " think about it, yesterday you watched me change the environment with the swing of my arm. I could destroy this entire city though it make take some time, yet you're calmly sitting before me. What's a mindless Titan in comparison? " asked Michelle before she started styling Mikasa's hair, a skill you pick up when you're around so many women
Mieko mouth fell open to a gape as Michelle's words reached her ears and she started processing them, every single ridiculous deed she ever witnessed Michelle doing, how many times she could have lost not only her own life but her daughters. She was sitting before a humanoid natural disaster.....which she scolds on a daily basis because of her unladylike tendencies
Truly after all she's witnessed and experienced in the past nearly 2 months, what were Titans in comparison, thinking up to hear she found that all her nervousness hidden behind her determination had withered and disappeared before she turned her attention towards the woman styling her daughters hair into a ponytail
" so what's the point of meeting face to face with a Titan? " asked Mieko as she felt much calmer about her situation
" when making a life goals, people always make one small mistake...they forget that life is a unpredictable bitch " replied Michelle nonchalantly before she continued " while it's true you should have a life goal, you should also create small goals which get you ahead and still point you in the direction of your main goal " she finished before she raised her head and looked at Mieko
" why can't I set you as my goal to reach? " asked Mieko not truly understanding what she was told only to receive a flick on the forehead
" that's my point " said Michelle with a teasing smile before she took on a serious expression " I would never ask you or anyone I care about to set me as a goal because it's a waste of time, while you grow I'm growing as well, so no matter how much you chase they'll always be a gap between us. This is why I told you to about Titans, your current goal, kill 10 Titans under 10m unassisted, after you complete that goal you'll create another, constantly pushing yourself forward " explained Michelle with a smile after she watched Mieko's eyes widen in realization
" and you my dear Mikasa, your goal is one Titan unassisted " said Michelle as she smelt the same determination coming from Mikasa. Mieko opened her mouth to say something only to close it after she met her daughters eyes, releasing a sigh she looked at Michelle in annoyance
" I blame you, my sweet and gentle Mikasa wants to kill Titans " muttered Mieko causing Mikasa to hide her face between Michelle's breasts, their interaction made Michelle cackle internally
' I know!!!, I'll be a great dad ' thought Michelle with a smirk
The warm moment was interrupted by a knock at the door, before Michelle could say anything, Mieko got up from the table and went to answer the door, after a few seconds Michelle watched as she walked into the room with Carla trailing behind her which made her raise a brow
" didn't expect you to see you again " replied Michelle calmly causing a complicated look to flash in Carla's eyes before she spoke
" I was unreasonable yesterday, you kept my son and I safe and yet I tried to slap you and for that I apologize " replied Carla bluntly making Michelle realize who Eren took after
" there's no ne- " Michelle started speaking only for her to be interrupted
" I want to join you " asked Carla loudly causing the Ackerman duo to flinch in surprise and Michelle to fall silent
" why? " asked Michelle calmly though her voice was laced in curiosity
" all these years I've been living in these walls, with this false sense of security that they'll keep my family and I safe, what happened yesterday showed me how danger can come from both inside and outside. So I beg you, please give me strength " asked Carla while bowing causing the duo to look at Michelle to see her answer
Mieko didn't mind as Carla was one of the few friends she had and she also apologized for her actions yesterday but it was all up to Michelle
" sure " replied Michelle nonchalantly before she picked up Mikasa and started walking towards the door, passing the still bowing Carla out the door, sighing lightly Mieko pulled up Carla and followed behind
