The prestigious academy is doing a recruitment fair for the upcoming year, and every homeroom is subjected to creating an engaging activity to promote the school entrance rates and create unity among both new and returning students. Unhinged Response

Alice rounded the corner and read the numbers as the rooms slowly grew larger and realized that she rarely ever walked through this side of the main building since she didn't have any fine arts classes regarding theater, writing, radio, and whatnot since she only tended to take the basic classes to get by.

Most of her advanced knowledge doesn't even come into play considering it only really shines when she takes tests and receives high scores back. She wasn't trying to take the easy way out, it was just that none of the classes really interested her to the point where she thought it would be worth her time to do them.

Her time was already tight with her helping out her parents and her own studying regime since she couldn't afford time and money wise to go to a luxury late-night academy befitting of the prestigious school that she already went to, so she decided it would be best not put more on her plate if she wasn't sure the outcome.

Not that anyone truly needed to go to an expensive late academy to get the information that they needed to do well since anyone could find the information, it was just the high discipline of going which proved helpful to students who need that last push to be able to retain their schooling information and to be able to spit it back out on paper.

She hoped that it wouldn't last too long since she did have plans to go over to Claudia's place if she had time, but it would be fine if she didn't make it too since Claudia didn't want to put too much pressure on her.

It was a nice change of pace to go over to Claudia's house to study since she would get a kick out of forcing Claudia to sit down and do homework with her.

Claudia was someone who she could multitask and talk with unlike with other people that she would unconsciously shut out, and they would accuse her for it when she was lost in the conversation. It wasn't her fault since she wasn't exactly the best person to trauma dump to, because her reactions were quite limited.

The max would be "Oh, I see." or maybe the occasional "It's okay." but otherwise, she wouldn't really make much of a reaction to what was said. With Claudia, she could listen to that girl drone on and on, and she wouldn't even complain about it since her dear friend lived quite an eventful life.

She would often tell Claudia that she was living through her to which Claudia would laugh and tease that she would try to bring Alice out more. If anything, Alice was extroverted as Claudia was and could match her energy most of the time, but whereas Claudia was the sunny individual, Alice found herself gravitating toward people more often than not.

Alice liked to be around people despite her persona not being as loud or as exciting as the next person, however, she found it to be a good balance since people would often invite her out as a plus one. That way, she was able to have her people time and come home and get down to business after hanging out for an hour or two.

She glanced down at the watch on her wrist and played around with the leather wristlet, adjusting it so that it was a bit tighter since it kept on slipping down her arm a little and would get caught in the rolled sleeve of the white button-up of her uniform. After, she lifted her eyes up to see that Noah was already sitting on the ground in front of the room that they were supposed to be in.

He didn't even notice her coming near since he had his earbuds in and had his head leaned back onto the wall with his eyes closed. She wondered what he was listening to since he didn't come off to be someone deep into music, but who knows? Noah was proving to be a completely unpredictable person as of late.

Noah looked completely relaxed with his legs stretched out in front of him with his briefcase tossed to the side, and she realized that there was a lazy side to him where he didn't want to do anything since she would often catch him during those moments. His collar of shirt was wrinkled, and his arms were crossed over his chest with a slight frown on his lips which if often had.

She touched his shoulder lightly, and he fluttered his hazel eyes open and blinked at her. Alice pulled out one of the wired earphones and crouched down so that they were at eye level.

"What are you listening to?" she asked lightly. "I'm guessing some hardcore baby metal."

Noah pulled out his other earphone and placed it into her ear. She waited as she heard a smooth voice carry through speaking out some kind of scenery, and she lifted an eyebrow. "What is this? An audiobook?"

He nodded. "Yes. A fairy core smutty one."

Alice burst out laughing at his unhinged response. "What?"

His eyes crinkled at the corner. "It's a thriller audiobook that I picked up last night."
