Eye Candy.

The small woman arrives at her first class, meeting with the chattering of other students. Some sat down together, others up and conversing wherever they pleased. Light green eyes scan the crowd until they find their targets. With haste she scurries down the small stairs, scooting in the aisle to sit herself next to the three people she considered friends.

"Good morning you guys!" Savannah chirps, watching as the other three turn to meet her gaze. They all seem to be happy she had come to class, which has her smiling wide. "I missed you guys! So so so much!"

"We saw each other this week, but it's always cute to hear that from you, Sav." One of her friends speaks. Her name was Katherine Walters, daughter to two famous actors.

Wealthy to the highest degree she was, she got anything she wanted from her parents. Not only was she in the public eye, she followed in her parent's footsteps. Becoming a new actor in New York. Katherine was beautiful at the ripe age of nineteen. Locks of long black hair that flow down her back, brown eyes that could hypnotize you. Her skin tan, a curved nose that any side profile would be jealous of. Topping it all off with flashy makeup like smokey eyes, red lipstick, fashion sense better than anyone she had ever met.

She was fiery, sassy, but all around a wonderful friend. If you need her by your side, she was the first person to call. Savannah trusted her with a long list of secrets, Katherine was like the sister she never had.

"Aw we missed you too Savannah! It was so nice when we went shopping!" The girl sat next to Katherine squeals, her hands under her chin.

Next was Raelynn,a familiar face within the stages of Broadway. She had a voice that came from the heavens itself, while having her parents money to support her dreams. Mother and father both ran a lawyer firm that ever big case went to. Blue eyes shone across a room, dark red hair cascading over her shoulders. She was pale, wearing light makeup across her soft features. Radiant, completely born for the stage.

Savannah looks between the two, clapping her hands together. She sits down next to Katherine, "I saw they're having a new release on the Gucci line! We have to be there first!"

"You girls sure love your shopping, huh?" Her head leans forward to see the last of the group. Eyes sparkling at the sight of him.

Clayton, Clayton Wilson to be formal. One of her friends since middle school, he was the closest friend she had still in her life. Standing at five foot and eleven inches, bright blonde hair neatly placed on his head. His light blue eyes matched the even toned tan of his skin. Clay had a smile that was infectious, he had so many girls drawn to him.

His parents were wealthy real estate agents, so their only child was bound to have the assets of their fortune. Savannah had met his parents only once, but they seemed to like her with their brief interactions. He was one of her closest friends after all, she hoped they would.

Katherine rolls her eyes playfully at Clay, shoving him with her elbow. "You should try it sometime, you could get some fashion tips from us you know."

"Oh! Oh! Oh! Dressing up Clay, I'm all in!" Savannah shouts, "Come on Clay, please!" She whines, putting her hands together in front of her.

Rae laughs, "Can't deny her now Clay, she's got the puppy dog eyes out."

"Alright, alright fine. Only once though." Clay responds, to which Savannah nods eagerly.

She always enjoyed the dynamic the four of them had. Nothing was out of place, nor did there ever feel there was hostility between any of them. It was always fun, playful, and light hearted. Savannah loved her friends dearly, they were a big part of her life. Without them, live would be dull.

"Miss Anderson." Savannah's head whips around to see her bodyguard finally standing behind her. His eyes of caramel peered down at her, while her light green hues stared back.

She pouts, crossing her arms over her chest. "Savannah, Lucien, it's Savannah–"

"Savannah!" Rae gasps, leaning forward towards Lucien. "When were you going to tell us you got a hot new bodyguard?" She purrs, Savannah turning back to look at her.

Katherine sighs, leaning back in her chair. "By us, she means her."

The little ginger looks between her friend, and bodyguard. Letting out a little squeak, she shakes her head. "He's not hot! Don't say that Rae!" She pouts, "It just happened today, he has to follow me around all the time now..He's the only bodyguard I have."

What she wouldn't give to have the other four back instead. At least her friend wouldn't be hitting on him, it was beyond awkward. Lucien wasn't attractive at all, he was brooding, always silent. What would be attractive about a man who could barely have a conversation with someone? Savannah could already tell her friend had heart eyes for the man.

Rae waves seductively towards her bodyguard, "Hello Lucien, I hope you can be my bodyguard for me sometime too.~" There's a purr from her lips, yet the large man doesn't seem to be phased one bit by her bold flirting.

"It's Mr. Richardson." He states coldly, now looking down at Savannah. "I am Miss Anderson's protection under her father's orders. I will be monitoring her at all times, even when with other company other than her father."

How embarrassing, Savannah sulks into her seat, her pouting becoming more noticeable by the friends around her. He made her seem like she was a toddler in need of constant eyes. She was a grown woman! She understood the dangersof the world, and yet here he was.

Her father was going to get an ear full when she saw him, this pairing was never going to work.

"Super sorry for her, Mr. Richardson." Katherine pulls Rae back by her shoulders towards her. "When she sees a hot man, she starts to get a bit too confident."

Rae rolls her eyes, sighing she leans back into the other woman. "Can't I enjoy a little eye candy?"

If Lucien was not here right now, Rae wouldn't be speaking the way she was. Of all the men she had seen before, had her eyes on: Now it was her bodyguard? The one she did not get along with, if she wanted him she could have him! It was an arrangement she didn't even get to disagree with.

Savannah had had plenty of bodyguards who were attractive in her eyes, Lucien was not one of them. They had barely had any sort of connection for her to deem him of any interest romantically. Not like it would ever happen if that was the case, her father had very strict rules. No boys, and no dating them at that. Without her father's permission, he had to make sure they were the best for her.

Zander was always a very cautious man when it came to her, given his status and all. He didn't want anyone to use her to get to him, leaving her heart shattered in the process. Things in her mind a good father would always do for his child, fathers were always protective of their children. Especially being his only child, he made sure to protect his heart with every fiber of his body.

Savannah was thankful, she made sure to let him know everyday the sun shined another day.

"Eye candy?!" Savannah gasps, waving her hands dramatically. "He's not eye candy, he's– It doesn't matter you guys, he is just here to make sure I'm safe. I'm gonna talk to my dad about him the moment I get home." She nods confidently, a smug smile on her lips.

Clay chuckles, "I don't think he's going anywhere Sav, the man is literally standing behind you like a rock."

She looks back at him, squinting her eyes in his direction. Only he's not looking at her anymore, his head is turned in another direction. Savannah doesn't move her stare however, waiting with her eyes narrowed at him until he notices. Lucien looks back at her, eyebrow raising in question.

"Yes, Miss Anderson?" The moment his soft yet stern words come out she's spinning back around to her friends.

Savannah puts her hand on her hip, gesturing to Lucien. "He moved, see?! Definitely not a rock."

"He didn't mean it literally." Katherine chuckles, running her fingers through her hair. "Good try though Savannah, you really proved yourself there."
