Ch.57.) The Mask
Dawn pushed open the door, blinded by the burst of gold light. Once the door closed behind her, sealing her exit, the light died down, and she saw herself standing in a giant gold throne room.
A noblewoman of extraordinary beauty sat upon a grand throne on a plush red cushion. She wore a clean white sleeveless dress that extended to the ground with high slits on the side.
The woman's skin was a smooth butterscotch color, and silky strands of raven hair went past her waist with an Egyptian gold crown adorned with jewels sitting upon her head.
"So someone managed to make it this far." She spoke in an imposing tone as a gold ornamented staff appeared in her hand. The palm-sized ruby gem embedded in the top glowed, and above the woman, a giant fire spell sparked to life and launched a fireball the size of a small meteorite.
