As Aiden went up I thought to myself, mom knows my pay is not enough to own the entire house. I have to make some shit up about the house owner.

He came back with a trolly bag, all packed up. Looking decent as hell.

"I'm so sorry Aiden! You don't have to do this. Please stay." I begged him

"Stop worrying. I have a house a few blocks away. I wouldn't leave if I had no place to live. I am not going to sleep on the streets.

Don't apologise. Its my decision. Don't blame yourself.

And wore his aviators like a celebrity and sat in his car and drove away.

I went inside my room and jumped on my bed lying facing the roof.

Its gonna be so lonely without him.

And I started thinking about the hot kiss we just shared today.

Does it mean anything to him? Or was it just him playing like he would do with every other girl?

My mom's plane was about to land.

I am so late.

Shit I had to pick her up from the airport.

I rushed, got dressed and reached the airport to see my momma waiting for me with her luggage.

It was soo good to see her after so long.

I couldn't contain my happiness. I ran towards her and hugged her tight.

Tears ready to leave my eyes.

"How are you mum? Its been so long. I missed you so much."

"I missed you too sweetie. The trip was good. I was excited the entire journey to meet you." said mum.

Dad didn't come. Mom said he had an important meeting to attend so he couldn't make it.

I took mom to mine and Aiden's home.

Tracey had it cleaned so well it was shining.

"Oh my god, Stella is that your home? Is this really where you live?" She was confounded and her eyes widened.

Are you secretly dating bill gates son, honey?

Or did you rob someone!?"

"Mom! I am living on rent. The owner really needed someone to live here. Only this room is mine. And I can use the common kitchen and dining area and bathrooms too."

"Oh. Who lives up there then?"

"That's a girl around my age. She's gone to her hometown for some days. I'm alone here right now. Only tracey to keep me company."

"I wish I could meet her. How is she? Is she good with you? Do you guys live in harmony?"

"Yes..yes mom. Sit down and have some water. I'll tell you all about her.

We used to argue sometimes initially but now she takes care of me. She's always so sweet. She cooked food for me. She dropped me to the hospital many times. She's amazing. She's so beautiful, mum. She's the most beautiful girl I have ever seen." I told her thinking all about Aiden.

"Sweetie, are you a lesbian? Because I think you are in love with this girl.

"I am not a lesbian. And I was just praising her and telling you how she was like. Its nothing like that." I tried to explain.

"No mum. Her dad is sick so I don't think I should face time with her right now. And I currently don't have any picture of her in my phone. She doesn't like to get clicked. We have no pictures together" I tried to cover up immediately.

"Oh thats bad. Its okay. Maybe some other time.

Show me around now. I want to see how this place is." said mom.

"Okay. Take some rest. Freshen up a bit. Then I'll take you to visit places. And I'll show you my workplace too.
