17 Chapter 17: It's Showtime.

Koro Sensei kept sending updates from all over the war as he kept up with each battle with his Mach 20 speed that no one could follow in this world.

He sent a lot of videos and pictures to the Chat Group for the others to see. Specifically about Uchiha Madoka, the target of the quest and quite possibly a future member of the Chat Group. Kazuma was not useless and handled the supplies and intel from Konoha Market. Ruri was reading up on Medical ninjutsu and Amelia was on guard duty.

Aster on the other hand was reading up on weaponsmithing and was making designs for a knife and a sword for himself. With the metals Koro Sensei got for him, he started making the blades with his powers of ice. He made a karambit and a beautiful sword for himself, that Kazuma was extremely jealous of till he tried to touch them and had his hand frozen.

His hand turned into ice just by barely touching it and let's thank the Gods that he felt nothing but numb to have his hands frozen and Ruri was capable to fix him after Aster defrosted his hand. Kazuma had declared that he won't touch anything Aster makes without checking it first.

Seeing that it was time that they get the show on the road, Aster asked crystal to take them all over to the battlefield.

In the battlefield:

Tobi uses the reincarnated bodies of the former jinchūriki to create his own Six Paths of Pain, each with their old tailed beasts sealed back into them. They converge on Killer B and the real Naruto and engage them in battle. After a brief exchange B is able to restrain and nearly seal all the six puppets, but they free themselves by entering their version 2 forms. In the chaos created by these stronger opponents, Tobi almost captured Naruto, but he is stopped by the arrival of Kakashi Hatake and Might Guy.

Tobi begins to have some of the jinchūriki enter Tailed Beast Mode to overwhelm the Allied shinobi. The Four-Tails goes after and swallows Naruto, which gives its jinchūriki, Rōshi, a chance to communicate to Naruto how to release them from Tobi's control. Naruto escapes from the Four-Tails' mouth and locates the chakra receiver on its body.

By removing it he frees Rōshi and the Four Tails, to which Tobi responds by first reclaiming the Four Tails and then by having all the other jinchūriki fully transform. The Nine-Tails is touched by Naruto's determination to help its fellow tailed beasts and thus gives its full cooperation to Naruto. Their new and improved Nine-Tails Chakra Mode allows them to defeat and free the other tailed beasts, but Tobi reclaims them into the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path too.

Moments after his identity is exposed, Obito is joined by Madoka, having just finished up with the five Kage. Noticing that the Statue did not have the Eight or Nine-Tails sealed into it yet, Madoka attempts to take the beasts from Naruto and B before the Ten-Tails is revived. Kakashi and Guy defend them while Naruto and B try to destroy the Statue, but they are too late and the Ten-Tails is revived.

Though the Ten-Tails is restored, it will still be some time before the moon is in a position to complete the Eye of the Moon Plan. Madoka and Obito, therefore, opt to eliminate the opposition in the meantime. They take control of the Ten-Tails and use it to try and destroy Naruto, B, Kakashi, and Guy, but the remaining Allied Shinobi Forces arrive in time to stop the attack. They combine their efforts to restrain and bind the Ten-Tails, but the victory is brief; the Ten-Tails transforms and frees itself.

The Infinite Tsukuyomi is cast upon the world. Sasuke shields himself, Naruto, Kakashi, and Sakura. All others except for the reanimated Hokage are trapped in a dream and wrapped into the God: Nativity of a World of Trees, their chakra acting as fuel for their own confinement.

The four emerge from Sasuke's protection, the last resistance against Madoka. Before they can have their final battle, Black Zetsu, once more in control of Obito's body, transfers to Madara and takes control of him instead, but just as he was about to finish converting her to Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, a flash of yellow took the broken body of Madoka who was back to her normal state, losing the six paths chakra and the 10 tails chakra.

A yellow tentacle grabbed her and flashed away, only those with very powerful occular doujutsu could catch the glimpse of a yellow comical octopus retrieving Madoka, but they were in no position to think about any of that, as Kaguya Otsosuki was unsealed and back into the world.

Like Madoka before her, Kaguya has difficulty fighting Naruto and Sasuke at the same time. At Black Zetsu's suggestion, Kaguya sends Sasuke to a different dimension so that she can fight them individually, starting with Naruto. While Naruto keeps her busy, Sakura helps Obito, who is now back in control of his body.

He finds the dimension where Sasuke is and reunites him with Naruto. Frustrated by Sasuke's return and her own failure to kill Naruto in time, Kaguya transports them all to a dimension with powerful gravity. While Naruto and Sasuke are unable to move, she attacks them with All-Killing Ash Bones. Obito and Kakashi use themselves as human shields to block the attacks, with Obito also using Kamui to save Kakashi as well, though at the cost of his own life.

Even though he's dead, Obito is not done fighting. His spirit rises from his remains and inhabits Kakashi, temporarily granting him the power of dual Mangekyou Sharingan. Using Susanoo, Kakashi joins Naruto and Sasuke in their fight against Kaguya, creating an opening for Naruto and Sasuke to surround her and strike.

When she tries to escape, Sakura punches her, forcing her to stay put long enough for Naruto and Sasuke to initiate the seal given to them by Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki, the Sage of Six Paths. The tailed beasts are removed from Kaguya's body, and she and Black Zetsu are trapped in the Six Paths — Chibaku Tensei that is, itself, stuck in another dimension.

With the finale getting sorted, the war was finally over. But for Aster and the others the problems have just begun, Madoka was on the verge of death and none of them could bring her back to life once she crosses over.

"Shit, guys, we are losing her. She has stopped fighting back and her will to live is gone... Aster, if you can do something with your powers, now is a really good time." Ruri said as she was blasting the Twilight Healing at full throttle.

"Amelia, you know legillimency, right?" Aster asked as his brain worked overtime.

"Yes, but we can't do that, invading someone's head without consent is like stripping them without permission..." Amelia wanted to continue but was stopped by Aster.

"No time for human morality, get me inside her head right now!" Aster spoke in a voice that demanded absolute compliance as his eyes glowed with power.

Amelia grit her teeth as she drew her wand and chanted 'LEGILIMENS', pointing her wand at Madoka's head.

The next thing Aster knew was that he was under a tree beside a beautiful waterfall, from the scenes he could recall, it was the valley of the end and he saw Madoka sitting under a tree, with her eyes closed with a serene smile on her face. As the wind rustled by, he saw her beautiful face and sighed because he had no idea what to do after this.

"Hello there," he said as he sat down near her. Madoka opened her mesmerizing black eyes that met with his ice blue ones. Madoka was surprised to see someone but realized that she was dead and they might be in the Pure Land.

"Is this the Pure Land?" she asked with her soft and soothing voice.

"Sorry to disappoint, but we are in your head and I am here to keep you alive. It would be a pity for someone like you to die without witnessing the fruits of her labor. It would be a tragedy to have you not see your dream coming true, so I am here to bring you back." Aster said without breaking eye contact.

Madoka was surprised by Aster's words but she knew that there was not a single lie or deceit in his words, they were as genuine as they come. She chuckled as she remembered a certain idiot who was much like the boy before her, straight as an arrow, earnest and pure.

"You remind me of my childhood friend and rival, you are much like him but you have the aura of a ruler around you unlike him. Your eyes reveal the desire they hold for the truth and the purity of your soul. So, what do you want from me?" Madoka asked as she fell into a look of nostalgia.

"My name is Aster Frost, and I am the Spirit of Winter. I come from a different world and am tasked with quests to keep the entire existence in balance and prevent tragedies like the ones you have seen. I am here with an offer, to join me and my friends in our quests as we bring peace to the worlds drowned in tragedy and turmoil."

"Will you rise again, to join the cause, to join the adventure across the worlds? But this time, you won't be a puppet, you can fight strong people across many worlds and do a lot of things that are only available when there is peace. I have gained a physical body just a day ago and I am yet to enjoy what the humans have to offer, care to join me on that?" Aster smiled at the end.

"I guess it's better than dying a death with nothing, I would take you up on your offer, but my body is beyond saving." Madoka sighed with regret.

"Let us take care of that, once you open your eyes, you will find yourself all patched up and have me out there waiting for you," Aster said as his figure blurred and vanished.

"Maybe this is the correct choice, I am Uchiha Madoka and I won't bend my knees, even to death itself." Her eyes glowed with a beautiful shade of crimson as her Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan spiraled.
