13 Chapter 13: Meeting the Kage.

"Hey, have I seen you here before?" a voice called Aster from behind as he passed the Yamanaka Flower Shop.

Aster turned to find an obnoxious face with spiky blond hair, bright blue eyes, and whiskers making a face that was all too familiar to him after the last few hours of reading up on this world. It was none other than the protagonist Naruto Uzumaki, the son of the Fourth Hokage and the current jinchuriki of the Nine-Tailed Fox.

"I guess not, but it's never too late to get introduced, my name is Aster Frost. Nice to meet you Naruto, and you too Kurama." Aster smiled and extended his hand for a handshake.

Naruto on the other hand jumped back a few feet and stood in a guarded stance, drawing his kunai. Aster just smiled while he withdrew his hand and looked at the shocked and ready to attack at any given moment.

"Don't worry, I am here to meet Teuchi Ichiraku, can you take me to him?" Aster spoke in his still calm and amicable voice.

Three Anbu shinobi encircled him with three kunai placed a hair away from his neck while another stood before Naruto with his blade drawn.

"Good, this makes things faster. Take me to the Ichiraku Ramen and please take your weapons back, I don't like being threatened." Aster spoke in his still calm voice but a chill permeated the air as his icy blue eyes glowed with a dangerous glint.

The kunai that the Anbu officers held froze and they had to drop them because their fingers would have frozen solid had they not dropped them, they stepped back but could not move any further for their shoes were frozen and stuck to the ground.

The people were already moving away after seeing the Anbu arrive, and by now the street was completely cleared of people and shinobi had already sealed and surrounded it. Aster simply shook his head and chuckled, "I can freeze your village before you guys could sneeze, so don't tempt me, I am already twitching to try it... So, let us be civil and take a walk with me, oh and Naruto, tag along, this involves you as well."

The Anbu looked at each other and nodded, they signaled a hidden Anbu member and asked them to notify the Hokage about this and lead Aster to the Hokage Tower and Naruto followed behind, but what was eating him from the inside was the name Aster said and the fact that he knows Kurama's name was a huge surprise for him.

"Don't think too much, it's not good for a knucklehead like you. The furball living inside you has a name and a history as well. Oh, and tell that ninja on the tree above you that if he throws that dart, I will freeze him into a popsicle. You will know when the time is right, just wait till then." Aster spoke good-naturedly and walked with a jovial smile on his face.

The three Anbu members covering him and the one guarding naruto were shocked to see that their comrade get discovered in seconds even the darts he had hidden in his sleeves were also noticed, this made them see the man they were guarding in a new light. They knew that they could not make another mistake lest they draw his ire and by the feats he had accomplished, even if he did not freeze the village, he could certainly do a few hundred meters around them.

The lineup had reached the ichiraku ramen stall and Teuchi being the chill dude as ever simply gave the menu card before looking at who walked in. But the moment he did, a hundred weird thoughts passed his head, he sighed as he massaged his temple, asking Naruto what this was all about.

"What's with the lineup Naruto? This blond guy your friend?" he asked.

"Nah, just met each other, but I guess we can be friends somewhere down the line. More importantly, this is my first time here and I want what you make the best, and whatever else you recommend. I hope you don't mind if I pay in gold." Aster smiled as he took a seat.

"Come on, don't be shy, you guys can take a seat as well, you too Naruto, my treat, eat whatever you like, I'll foot the bill," Aster laughed as he marveled at the Chat Groups abilities, a simple language pack installation by the system and he could speak anything and everything that exists.

Aster took out two gold biscuits Amelia gave him and placed them on the table. But soon realized a little issue with the language pack, he could speak but not read. He had no idea how to read Japanese at all and that needs to be addressed, both learning Japanese and getting a reading pack or maybe, inviting someone who is good at handling stuff like this would work as well.

Naruto saw Aster looking at the menu card and sigh, he could not help but ask, "why are you looking at the menu card like that?"

"It's kind of embarrassing, but I don't know how to read or write." Aster rubbed the back of his head and smiled with a slightly embarrassed face.

"Huh, how did you manage to live for all these years then?" the blond shinobi asked.

"I come from a place far away, I was sent here to do a job and I thought since I was here, why not eat something good while I have the chance," Aster replied.

"Oh, Teuchi-san, make four more portions and wrap them up for me." Aster hummed as he waited for the ramen to arrive.

Meanwhile in the Hokage Tower.

Tsunade got the report from the Anbu, moved swiftly, and asked the Anbu to summon Kakashi at the ramen stall. A powerful stranger with an ice Keke-Genkai approaching Naruto when the Akatsuki are hunting for tailed beasts just spells for trouble.

She got there as fast as she could and what she saw shocked her quite a bit. A boy around 17 or so was sitting beside Naruto who was seemingly teaching him how to read as he introduced the alphabets to him.

When she came near them and the boy turned to face her she felt that her breath just flew away, the boy was the most beautiful person she had ever seen and when she locked eyes with those beautiful icy-blue eyes, she could not help but avert her gaze and blush a bit before coughing and drawing attention away from that little mistake.

"So, what are you doing here and why don't I sense any chakra from you?" Tsunade asked.

"Because I don't have any, I am here for a quest, from a land far away from here. The name is Frost, Aster Frost, at your service." Aster smiled doing a little bow while sitting.

"What is that quest if I may ask?" she continued.

"It's just to save a certain someone's life and then make sure that everything else is just as it should be. Don't worry, I don't wish you harm, have a bowl if you want a break, my treat." Aster chuckled as he looked at the beautiful woman with the biggest rack he had ever witnessed.

'Damn those knockers are huge, I really want to know how they stay perky even at that size, what a mystery.' Aster thought as he went back to humming.

"Sorry I'm late, a cat just crossed my path and I had to take a long way around and then I got lost on the road of life." a casual voice came from behind.

Many readers are asking "why is Aster working under Amelia? He is so strong already so why?"

Well, here is why. He is a person who just popped into existence, so the first thing he needs is backing and a proper identity that will smoothen things for him without having any need to go overboard.

Next, he needs to do this so that he has a base to interact and interfere with the characters and the plot. Can't just show up and do whatever and expect things to go fine, no matter how strong someone is. People are not mindless puppets, they have limits they can understand and accept, so better not test that theory.

More importantly, Aster needs to fit in and grow as a person, he needs a life other than just barking orders or freezing stuff.

Most importantly, please wait and watch as the plot thiccens... I mean thickens, yes, thickens and the characters get filled a bit more.
