Siana woke aching. It felt like she’d overdone it at the gym and her muscles burned. Her mind was also curiously blank, and it took a few minutes to remember what had happened to her. She couldn’t believe that he wanted to marry her, that he loved her enough to want to stay with her even though she was a mess and had probably scared him a lot. But he’d asked her to marry him, and she’d said yes. So that made him her fiancée and that meant she had a wedding to plan.

Siana ignored the dread that popped up in her gut at the thought of planning another wedding. Naerin was nothing like her ex, nothing like any man she’d ever had in her life. She was safe with him, and she’d ask him to elope so that they didn’t have to plan a big wedding. Unless he wanted a big wedding, she’d go through that again for him. She’d plan a wedding again if it meant she could spend her life here in his arms.
