CHAPTER 1 AWAKENING

The chilly winter wind left in it's wake,chattering teeths and extreme cold in the little town.Families were tightly wrapped with each a scarf for warmth and the couples each clung close to one another for warmth as well.Quihuang town was a little town on the outskirts of the high mountains whose population was nothing to talk about,yet,this town was highly appreciated and well taken care of.

Quihuang town was highly respected because of the sect which resided in it's area,'QUIHUANG SECT'.The sect,after winning the global tournament for three years in a row,became a highly feared and revered sect,said to produce the best of the best cultivators who tho considered the creme de la creme of society,still bore no hate or egoism to their fellow humans.The sect was admired for this and thus every family in the east envisioned their most gifted children in the sect and fought for both the resources and connections needed to get into the sect.

The sect's entrance fee was as outstanding as the sect itself thus,the less priveledged who sought to go in,had to go through what was known as;'The test of awakening'.It was a widely known fact that each individual when born, possesses a connection to either the heavenly,or earthly qi while some special beings blessed by the heavens,possess a strong connection to both.The first awakening of an individual's qi is at birth.
