Winter Days *14*

Is this one very short just like the last one? YES!

Is this one jam packed with drama though? HECK YES!...no not really ._____.

I feel like a failure. Sorry guys, I still have one last "plot twist" up my sleeve but then Winter Days will be done (thank goodness). I can not wait for Spring Days. I wont have a deadline to finish that one so I can do EVERYTHING i want with it. Im so excited! Now sorry again for the shortness (and the general suckiness of it) but the next chapter will be individual results so you an look forward to that!

BTW: The pic on the side is your wedding dress. Even if you dont like it picture it like that. I know a lot of times if the author descirbes an outfit sometimes you just imagine it another way (which Im fine with. I do that too) BUT BUT BUT imagine it like this.

You don't know exactly how much time had passed wide you woke up. Mainly because you were still lying in bed. The moment you woke up you decided to just lay there until someone literally forced you to come downstairs. You didn't want to see any of the wedding decorations. You were actually tempted to throw yourself down the stairs yesterday when Dhannon tried to force you to choose a dress. You heard the door open, but didn't move a muscle. "[Name]." Aqua's voice rang out. She came over and sat on the side of your bed. You slowly sat up and made eye contact with her. That's when you broke down. You hadn't cried since the day Rex came in drunk forever ago. You had sworn to yourself that you would be strong, but seeing the pained, sympathetic look in Aqua's eyes crushed you. Aqua pulled you into a hug and rubbed your back as you cried into her shoulder. "I'll tell everyone you weren't feeling well today." Aqua reassured, "Just to give you a break." You nodded and wiped your tears. Aqua didn't move. Instead, she looked like she had something else to say. Based on her solemn look it wasn't good either. "I have to warn you. They expect you to try your dress on today." Aqua sighed. You lifted your chin and nodded, "Ok. I think I'm just gonna take a shower Aqua. You can bring the...you can bring it in." Aqua nodded and began to leave. Before she reached the door though you called her name. "Thank you Aqua." She smiled one last time before leaving. You slipped out of bed and walked to the bathroom to go through you usual morning routine. By time you walked out of your bathroom wearing a robe, Aqua had come back. She lifted the black bag. "I figure we could just get it over with quickly." You nodded in agreement. Aqua laid down the black bag and unzipped it. She held up the white dress for you to see. Yesterday when Dhannon asked you to pick all you did was tell her to do it for you. You recognized this dress from one of the pictures she showed you. It was strapless and had a beige ribbon tied in a small bow right under your chest. As the tight dress reached your waist it billowed out and cascaded down to the floor in slight ruffles. The train wasn't awfully long, but you still worried of how you could walk. Aqua helped you into the dress and led you to the full length mirror to see yourself. Dhannon had good taste because the dress looked absolutely stunning on you. At first glance you weren't even sure that was yourself. "It looks amazing [Name]. You're very beautiful." Aqua complimented. You forced a smile, "Thank you." "Oh I forgot the headpiece. I'll be right back." Aqua said then left the room. You stared at yourself in the mirror. For comfort you begin to twist your necklace in your hand. It gave an eerie green glow. You always pictured that when you tried on your wedding dress it'd be a happy memory you'd hold onto forever. This wasn't exactly what you pictured. No matter how nice the dress was you couldn't bring yourself to smile. The door opened and you assumed Aqua had come back in. The person that stepped into the room wasn't the blue haired girl though. You stared at your reflection in the mirror with shock. Right behind you staring right back at you was Yuffie. You spun around quickly just to make sure you weren't going crazy. She still stood there silently. You had never seen her quiet for this long. "Y-Yuffie?" You asked as your voice broke. She ran towards you and wrapped you up in a hug. Instantly, you collapsed into her arms and hugged her tightly. You found yourself laughing as a tear streaked down your face. "Oh my gosh [Name]! Are you alright?! They didn't hurt you did they?! I swear if they did anything I'll kick their butts into next week and show them that you don't mess with the great ninja Yuffie's friends! How dare they even-" Yuffie had begun to babble. You shook your head and continued to hug her. "Oh Yuffie I missed you so much. What are you doing here?" He eyes widened as if she remembered something, "Well duh! Saving you of course! Come on we have to go!" Yuffie grabbed your hand but before she could begin to pull you away Aqua ran through the door frantically. "[Name]! The castle is under attack!" Aqua cried. Her eyes caught sight of Yuffie. Yuffie ran forward and threw a kick at her. Aqua lifted he arms to block it. "No Yuffie stop! Aqua's on our side!" You cried as you threw yourself between the two of them. Yuffie seemed wary of Aqua, just as Aqua was wary of Yuffie. "Well fine. Come on though we have to get out now!" Yuffie cried re-grabbing your hand. "Let me just change-" "No time [Name]!" Yuffie yelled. "Your friend's are fighting in the foyer. It's a complete war zone down there." Aqua said. "Wait the others are here too?!" You asked loudly. "Of course! I couldn't come alone!" Yuffie replied throwing her arms up. "Now like I've said before- we have to go!" You followed Yuffie out of the room then stopped, "We have to save Aqua too!" You turned back to look at her. Aqua stood nervously by the door. "Just go [Name]. You have to leave if you want to make it out." Aqua replied bravely. "But-" "No buts. I'll be fine." Aqua walked over and gave your hand a squeeze, "Be brave [Name], and stay strong." Aqua turned and sped down the hallway in the opposite direction. You turned back to Yuffie, "There are others too. Like Alexandria, Kajaku, Brooke, and Chantelle!" "Listen [Name], if things go right then we'll get to save everyone." Yuffie grinned and pulled you down the hallway. The two of you ran down the hallway. You used your hands to hold up your dress some, and your feet were bare so that helped too. You followed Yuffie down the stairs until the foyer came into view. Aqua had been right. The foyer was filled with fighting. Guards were everywhere fighting with friends and people you've never even seen before. You felt joy flood into your heart at the sight of your friends, but it died quickly as you realized how badly they could be hurt. "Stay by the side of the wall we're gonna squeeze out the front." Yuffie commanded as the two of you hit the floor. As you walked along the wall you watched Dhannon form a blue light between her hands before shooting it out like an ice beam. She aimed for only one person though. It was the rebel leader that smiled at you on Rufus' ship. She was wearing a blue and white metal suit and when Dhannon shot the ice at her she threw her hands up to block it. Yuffie pulled you further along where you caught sight of Tifa jumping up and kicking a guard in the face sending him flying into the floor. You suddenly stopped when you saw the next fight. [BOC] was fighting against two guards. Your heart stopped in your chest and it felt like you couldn't breathe. You could faintly hear Yuffie calling out your name, but all your attention was focused on his form. It was as if nothing around you even existed anymore.
