The only sound that could be heard in the girls' hotel room was the ticking of the clock. Everyone was impatiently waiting there. They were forces to go to bed last night while Cid, Auron, Namine, and Gabe traveled back to Hollow Bastion. It was obvious why Namine and Gabe were being taken home. The group couldn't have an injured Gabe running around or a pregnant Namine trying to fight. Cid and Auron just left to get their weapons, and then they'd come back.Unfortunately, the festival was coming to an end. That meant Snow, Hope, and their group had to go back home. They left earlier that morning and wished the group luck. Much to Ven's dismay, Vanitas decided to stay behind and stick around. Noctis had left about a half hour ago and hadn't come back. They'd be worried about him except all of them were far more worried about you.For the umpteenth time that day, Sora glanced at the clock and groaned. "When are they going to be back?!" "For the last time Sora", Vanitas growled, "Shut up!""Don't tell him to shut up!" Ven yelled at Vanitas. His irritable mood made him eager to pick a fight, and he didn't care with who. Except picking a fight with Vanitas was almost enjoyable to him."Like you wouldn't have, idiot." "Why are you even here you freakin-""I swear if the two of you don't shut up I'll throw you out the freaking window." Cloud snapped at them. His usual calmness was eaten away and replaced with his snappy, sarcastic side."But we're on the18th floor." Demyx commented."Exactly." Zack nodded as he drummed his fingers on the wooden table. Angeal, who sat beside him, watched his fingers for a moment before slamming his hand on top of them, "Stop it Puppy."Axel scoffed, "Leave it to Fair to remain annoying as ever in a time of crisis.""Excuse me?" Zack glared at Axel.Axel glared back but before the two of them could get into a heated argument Cloud turned his glare from Ven and Vanitas to Axel and Zack. If looks could kill Axel and Zack would be on the floor dead. The room grew quiet again except for the constant ticking."Seriously guys, when are they coming back?""SORA!" The entire room yelled. The brown haired male slunk into his seat between Roxas and Riku. The door began to open and everyone jumped to their feet in anticipation.Noctis walked in wearing the same clothes as yesterday, "Hello. I take it Cid and Auron are not back yet?"Everyone groaned and sat back down. Tifa shook her head, "Nope."Noctis nodded from the doorway. Behind him were four people. He side stepped and let them into the room first. The first person in was a girl, then two guys, and behind them was another girl.The first girl had light brown, wavy hair. It was tied in a low ponytail and her bangs were swept left off her face. Her eyes were a happy light green. A smile was worn on her face as if she was just laughing at something. She had a fair complexion and petite figure, but it didn't match her worn down clothing. She was wearing a tight white tank top with a raggedy flannel shirt over it with the sleeves rolled to her elbows. Her skinny jeans were torn, burned in areas, and tucked into a pair of sleek black combat boots. On her right wrist was a sleek white metal bracelet with nothing on it. It looked like an enlarged ring.The first guy that came in right behind her also wore a smile, more like a smirk, and even his grey eyes seemed to be laughing. He had short blonde hair that stuck up some near the front. He was wearing a plain grey shirt with dark jeans and the same sleek combat boots. He also had on a black leather jacket. His clothing was also war torn and he also wore a bracelet like the first girl except his was dark green.The other guy had windblown brown hair and brown eyes. He wasn't laughing like the other two, but he didn't seemed cold in nature. His outfit looked somewhat like the other guy except this guy didn't have a black leather jacket on and he wore a white T-shirt. He also had a sword strapped to his back.The last girl walked in and smiled at the group. She had medium length chestnut brown hair and dark blue eyes. She wore a white t-shirt that was a bit too big for her. The shirt managed to stay held up over her belt though. She was wearing shorts but they looked more like jeans that got ripped in a fight. You could clearly see her sleek grey combat boots. She, unlike the guy with the leather jacket, had a bracelet on. It was slightly larger than the other two bracelets worn by the first girl and guy. Hers was blue and white in color, but also looked scratched and dented."I would like to introduce you to the leaders of the rebel force." Noctis commented, "I heard from them that you all have actually met before though.""Yeah we saw them in space when we caught Rufus!" Yuffie chirped."We didn't get all your names though", The first girl shrugged, "And you probably don't remember ours. My name is Sammy.""I'm Ben." The guy beside her said. The one with the leather jacket."You can call me Wes." The other guy nodded."And I'm Jessica. It's nice to see you guys again, obviously not under these conditions though." The last girl nodded."You said they're leaders? They look our age." Vanitas scoffed."Well I'm the youngest at 23." Jessica gave him a smile despite Vanitas rude statement. He gave a slight nod before tearing himself out of the conversation. Everyone went around the room introducing themselves. "We need to start planning now. The sooner the better." Wes commented."Sounds great. We want to save [Name] as quickly as possible." Xion said."Right." Jessica nodded. She walked forward to the table Zack and Angeal sat at. Then she pulled out a map from a bag she wore on her back. She straightened it out and began to show the different exits and entrances of the castle. Kairi stood on the outer part of the crowd that had surrounded Jessica and the map. As did Noctis, but he already knew the castle inside out so there was no need for him to pay attention.Kairi glanced at Noctis and dared herself to speak to him. "So if she's the youngest how come she's kind of leading this whole thing?" She asked referring to the way only Jessica was talking and how the other three seemed to hang onto her words.Noctis glanced over at Kairi and smiled, causing her to blush, "She's the main Rebel Leader. Wes, Ben, and Sammy are just her teammates really.""Oh...really?" Noctis nodded his head thoughtfully. "It's hard to explain why. They have a very interesting back story. Remind me to tell you later."Kairi nodded and smiled at the thought of them having another conversation later. She immediately felt guilt wash over her though. Kairi shook her head and began to focus on the true task at hand: Save [Name].The door opened again and everyone's head snapped to see who it was. Cid and Auron walked in swiftly and shut the door behind them."Where are our weapons?" Riku asked them."Well hey to you too." Cid replied curtly as him and Auron walked up to the crowd around the table. "Who are you?"Jessica straightened herself and smiled, "I'm Jessica. This is Wes, Sammy, and Ben. We're part of the Rebel Force.""Leaders actually." Ben corrected with a smirk."Hm thought I recognized you. You're the ones from space that helped us capture Rufus correct?" Auron asked.They all nodded in response. Cloud spoke up next, "Did Cody and Lauren not want to come?""They weren't there when we got there. Left for a small vacation or somethin'. We got Gabe settled in at the hospital just in case. Namine's with him." Cid explained.Auron leaned forward and picked up the map in his hands. He glanced over it briefly before it was ripped out of his hands by Cid who figured it was his turn to look at it."We're coming up with a plan to get into the castle, save your friend, and overthrow the King." Jessica explained.The last part caught everyone's attention. KK was the first to speak up about it though, "Whoa did you say overthrow the King??""Look we're pissed about him taking [Name] and yeah he should be punished, but I think we'd be digging ourselves into a deeper hole by overthrowing the guy." Xion commented."Even though he is a jerk." Yuna added. KK and Paine nodded their heads in agreement."No offense, but that's the only reason we came." Sammy shrugged. Before anybody could comment to her response though the guy, Wes, spoke up. "We've been waiting for an opportunity to get him for ages. Now we finally have a chance. With all the wedding plans going on he'll have a hard time noticing us. We have to do this now. Saving your friend is just a side mission.""Side mission!?" Axel roared along with his brother Reno. The room became tense as it shifted toward becoming a flat out brawl. Noctis stepped up to intervene, but was beat to it by Jessica."Hey everyone calm down." She said in a commanding voice. "Look we've been under this tyrant's rule for way to long. If you knew half the things he's done you'd happily overthrow him. Just look at what he's making your friend do." The group quieted in thought. "Saving your friend isn't a side mission. I consider it one of my top priorities, but if we're gonna risk all our plans for your friend we need you guys to reach out and help us out. Deal?"The room was still as everyone stood on edge. Auron's deep voice broke the silence though. "When you overthrow him then what happens? You guys take control?"Jessica smiled and chuckled, "No. We plan to give the throne to the true heir.""True heir?" Terra questioned."Yeah when the last King died the Prince of Passim was supposed to take his place, but before he could the Prince's uncle stole it from him and banished him away." Sammy explained."Where is this Prince? He just chillin' out at your Rebel base?" Reno asked with mock laced in his words."No. He's right there." Ben nodded his head towards Noctis. Everyone's eyes fell on Noctis's form in shock. All this time they had been in the presence of royalty and he had been surprisingly normal. "You're a Prince?!" Kairi gasped. A sinking feeling hit her. There was no way a prince would date her. She already felt like she didn't have a chance with him before she found out about him being royalty. "Yes I am." Noctis nodded, "I'm sorry for not telling you earlier, but I wasn't sure I could trust you yet.""Well then...", Leon mumbled. Jessica lightly took the map out of Cid's loose grip and set it back on the table. She grabbed one of the pens sitting in a cup on the table and began to draw on the map."So here's the plan..."
